Fu*** Weather (Funny Weather)

Loved the app, but the most recent update completely opened the ad floodgates. I don't mind unobtrusive sidebar ads, but being forced to watch even a few seconds of a full-screen video ad completely turns me off. I wish I could revert to the prior version of this app. If you haven't updated yet, don't do it!

I love this app! It always makes me laugh, so it's one of the few apps that I've purchased. At the minute I can't add phrases, and it would be cool to have the option to align text in the widget centrally or to the right: other than that, no complaints!

Great app! Funny commentary. The statements match my thoughts on different weather types. I love it! It is far better than any other boring weather app, but I do have a suggestion. Silly voices being available to read the weather and funny commentary to a user would be great. I realize that would probably take some work, but it's just a fun suggestion. Just please none of the autotune tik tok voice.

I firmly believe that one is born with ONE truly exceptional ability. For example, comedic writing or the ability to create apps. Looks like developers were definitely born with latter of aforementioned ability. Please, do contact me if I can be of assistance with the former.

The radar is not a radar, it's just a picture.... And the ads are insane. I literally got a full page pop up ad, and before I could click it away, a full page pop-up video ad, showed up on top of the first pop-up ad. Uninstalled

Was 4 star. Sadly (I think it's due to android update to 12) the app doesn't work. Always loading, and if it DOES load, it doesn't keep up with the temp outside, after a while I have to try to refresh and hope it loads in app so it'll update the temp on my time/net/battery % bar at top of screen. (the one we pull down to get settings etc on phone). My fave app I pay for is fu***n broken (not mad, just keeping to the apps fun, lol)

Fun concept. Could use more tweaking. I shouldn't have to watch an add just to see a radar map & an add every time I want to change a setting on the map. That's pretty fu**ing stupid. This is the 2nd time I downloaded this app & the 2nd time I deleted it. Not very accurate for my area. I mean it is what it is, a funny themed weather app. If it was taken a bit more seriously towards accuracy I would keep it.

Widgets are huge, take a lot of empty space and scale (resize) very bad. There is also only a weekly forecast, so you can't check weather in the following hours of the same day - you only get one description for today. (By the way, the morning notification would also make more sense if it only could be displayed only in the event of bad weather as a warning.) But it's a nice concept if you are able to integrate more use-cases :)

Used to be a very fun and useful app, unfortunately the forecasts have become very unreliable as of late. 67° F high forecast on a day that hit 90+ isn't good. Will be back to a higher score once this issue is fixed. That being said, if you go to the day graph it tends to be much more accurate, but for whatever reason this doesn't translate to the front page or to notifications.

I was using What the Forecast, which was great for awhile but stopped working. This is pretty awesome for the sarcastic/funny phrases and comments on the weather, as well as the ability to customize the color schemes. Also, OMG - so many different details and aspects of the weather actually provided in the app. I mean, graphics/artwork/animation stuff could probably be better, but simplicity isn't a bad thing..although I keep finding it frustrating to figure out how to get the "drawer" as they are calling it in this app to reappear so I can keep tweaking the settings. I have to keep closing and reopening the app until it reappears. I don't know why it constantly, randomly disappears? There's something buggy about it. LG V30+ with Android 9

Super funny and I really enjoy it. My only issue is that it seems like the alerts were written in a hot climate. I live in Wisconsin and its weird that it tells me that its just warm outside at 81 degrees. Another issue is that I cant find the setting to turn off the constant weather alert on my notifications bar and it gets annoying.

it's a pretty good app... The only problem that I'm having is that I can't set it to update the weather every 20 minutes without having to put in a paid subscription... it's a weather app... A funny one but it's still a weather app... And weather changes every 10 minutes... At the very least I would think being able to change the amount of time we get refreshed would be something included in the app okay... It's just such a standard function. But to be automatically refreshed after 4 hours? smh

Comprehensive (to a degree) weather app that goes beyond just novelty. Usable and gives you the experiance you would expect. Give a little varience to the quotes and it'd be even better. This is my go-to weather app both for its irreverent approach and blunt attitude. If you really care THAT much about the weather beyond this app, you have to be a meteorologist. All you need. Good drop down widget as well.

The app worked for the most part. But over time it went downhill. It stopped refreshing on it's own. A few times I would refresh it myself but the wait time seemed to get longer each time I did so. When I would go into the menu to adjust something the menu icon would disappear entirely afterwards. I hope these bugs get fixed, the humor in this app is the only reason I keep it.

Been using the app for years upon years, I've loved it the whole time. I went to see how much it would cost to get rid of ads because they've gotten worse over time and it was $30 to permanently stop ads rather than paying a subscription. Genuinely disappointed by that ludacris cost for such trivial "bonuses". I'll still use the free version because I love the app, but other than that, the cost is way to ridiculously high for what this app is.

It's a fun app that is also useful, what else could you expect? The only issues I could find were that the notice that appears in the notifications bar sometimes does not update.. it will have the weather for 10am but be 6 in the evening. that and it's not easy on power usage but it's a decent app, I'm keeping it.

I love the humour in this app and the data is nicely presented, in fact the graphs and maps better some of the well known weather apps. Why only 3 stars? The forecast is very inaccurate, I mean totally wrong a lot of the time. It's reporting strong wind and cold temperatures at the time of this review and the funny quips are reflecting this. It's actually pretty hot and not at all windy. I will stick with it for a while as I love this type of light-hearted app and hopefully it will improve.

Totally hilarious, fantastic graphs, get the lifetime license, its well worth it! Update March 2021: this app has received numerous updates and is better than ever. The new widget functionality is fantastic and I find the options to see whether data in graphs very useful because I drive around a lot at all sorts of odd times and it really helps me plan things.

Nice to see an app purposefully be politically incorrect. Its just fun to check the weather now I'm always waiting to see what it tells me next. The only thing i would change is the temp preference sensitivity setting. The -5 to 0 to 5 is confusing. Would be easier to just have a sliding scale with temperatures marked, and then users coild just select there ideal temp.

This app is now absolute garbage. Uninstalled after all these years. Used to be a fun app for a laugh. Now, it's a pop-up ad ridden waste of memory. You can't touch nothing in the app without stupid POS pop-up ads with nothing but obnoxious loud noises... Just like any app that starts good, it ends in a greed driven ad laden pile. Edit: Ads hijacking my phones controls, and preventing me from closing it is BS!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE IN THAT PERIOD. The banners are fine, the others are not.

This app is for those that was born before the great "I'm Offended" Era! I love it. It's hilarious. It reminds me of the days of genuine freedom of BS speech. Even if it is messy!

It assumes people like hot weather better than cold weather. Also it doesn't update the widget without you going into the app.

I like it. Yes its accurate like accuweather is, but with a level of sarcasm that I need to brighten my days up. However I have a large comfortable zone and I can't seem to get it right on the app so like today it said it was cold as balls but I found it on the cool side of nice. At least the display temperature is accurate and I know my zones well enough to say what it should be. (yes i know there's a slider that adjusts the comfort zone but when it spans 50° to 80° it doesnt work right.)
