Fudget: Budget and expense tracking app

Disappointed. At first, it seemed great until I realized you couldn't copy/paste an entry. It seems that would be so basic a feature. The inconvenience is enough that I will need to find a new app. Yes, you can star an item that will then be added to a NEW budget, but I have a 3 month running budget, plus the starred items only go to NEW budgets. So, if I already have several budgets and get a new expense, I'd have to manually enter each one. It seems not well thought out...

I've tried other apps like mint but my accounts always get disconnected and then it's a pain to reconnect. I love using fudget because it's exactly what I want! If you want simplicity that helps with accountability and knowing what's coming in and what's going out, this is the app for you! I love the clean layout. I don't care about pie charts and percentages.

I needed an app to do basic budgeting without linking my bank accounts. I found fudget on a whim and I'm glad I did. It makes budgeting my weekly checks easier in real time since things change and I always have an idea what my paycheck will be. I paid the 1.49 (one time fee) to get rid of ads and the additional add-ons just make the app better. Great job.

Simple, easy to use, and great value. It's frustrating to that you need to pay each time to install Pro on different platforms though. I would think it would be simple enough to provide a redemption code to users who upgrade to Pro so they could use the same account across platforms without having to pay each time.

Finally, a budget app that's simple to use right out of the box! Does exactly what a budget should do, easy to use, robust features even in the free version (though the additional features in the paid version are very handy and well worth it). It took me less than 10 minutes to set up my very complicated budget in Fudget. No more guessing how much I've got available at a given time, no more forgetting payments or due dates. A huge thanks to the developers for a budget app I can use!

I can't say too much about this app right now as I just started using it. I saw some reviews and it looked promising, a lot of the negative reviews were mostly about "bug fixes" or the "app not starting" so that's nothing really against the app itself which is a good start. To upgrade only costs around $2.50 and it's not a subscription, and it removes ads and adds all kinds of extra features like back ups for your budgets. it seems easy and simple to use, which is convenient! good app overall.

I haven't had it very long but soo far I really like it. It was easy to figure out. I use to keep a run down of our budget on my phone calculator but it kept getting erased. This is less frustrating. I also really like that I can have more than 1 budget saved. I just wish it had a widget. Maybe something that lets you pick a budget to have a quick view of balance w/out having to open the app.

Update: "Undo Delete" is extremely helpful too! I love the simplicity of this app. I specifically looked for one that didn't allow access to my accounts. I was looking for something that would keep a running total of how much I had left in my account even if the expense hasn't posted yet. I also really like the recurring income/expense feature. Kudos to the developer for keeping the fee to upgrade affordable and more than reasonable for the benefits that you receive. Thank you!

This is the best app, ever! For years I was looking for something like this and had to keep a running total of my budget in my head. Often times I would recalculate things 3 or 4 times to keep up with pending items. I now pay myself/bills first and then input my leftover balance as my biweekly spending allowance. Each purchase made, I input into the app and never have to wonder where my money is going and how much was spent or is left. This app is a game changer!

I haven't been using it very long but it's so simple compared to other budgeting apps. I've been needing something to help me get my money in order and it's just enough to do what I need but without getting complicated. Just sprung for the pro version (amazed it's a one off payment, I get put off buy the subscription based ones) for the extra features. Ideal, thanks :)

Love the intuitive UX design! If you are looking for the most clutter free budgeting app, fudget is the way to go. Unfortunately I still encounter some problems here and there, like the expense/income title sometimes can't be changed for no apparent reason (android 5.1.1). You have to edit it several times to make it saves the title you desire. Though as I mentioned before it only happens occasionally. And I think it will be absolutely better if you add wishlist into the app, so you can see how much your money is left each month and how much the rest is to fill the gap between your current money and stuff in your wishlist (or something that relates to your wishlist in anyway). Other than that it's a great app to have, especially for those who want to keep an eagle eye on their monthly expense without feeling confused about the whole app. Many kudos to the developers!

I have been looking for an app that is simple but allows me to budget easily. this is the best I have found. In fact I bought the pro version after using it for less than an hour. My only suggestions would be multi device accesss, ability to have smaller fonts to see more on screen and the ability to copy and paste an entry. Apart from that it is an amazing app and puts other paid versions to shame.

Extremely useful, especially for people who have a hard time budgeting (like myself 😅) plus you can add dates of when the expenses are due and when the income is put it. Plus you can organize it with the drag and drop feature. I personally use it from month to month, however it can be used to budget for a week as well. For me it is better by month. The set up is user friendly and the tutorial is very helpful for new users. Would highly recommend.
