Fuelpak FP3

I've went through 2 fp3 modules so far and even upgraded my android from a galaxy s9 thinkn it was a problem to a galaxy s22 and still same issues. I cant post a pic on here or i would share my screens shots. I fell like the app or technology being used could bot be compatible.

Very user-friendly tuning app by Vance & Hines. This will save riders a load of money by being able to tune their own bikes. The app is very easy to use and has a lot of useful display information during a ride. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because when my phone is in landscape mode (which is all the time when I'm riding), the app's warnings can't be cleared. There's no way to see the clickable choices without turning the phone to portrait mode. would be nice to fix this problem.

Had a hard time with the speedometer calibration. It started at 145% off and the closest I could get it after several tries was 4% off. It would only go down by half each run. Constantly would not flash, would disconnect, and would tell me it was for a different bike altogether. I don't think I can recommend this product as it is, it is too buggy. Trying to flash a map was met with the same software problems.

Very easy to use. I changed the intake and exhaust on my 2017 FLHTK and noticed it wasn't running quite the same as before the changes. Purchased an FP3. Downloaded the available map for the changes I made and flashed it to the FP3. Huge difference. It idles better, runs cooler and just runs better. The Autotune feature is something I will be using when I add more mods to the engine. You will more than likely find a base tune for your configuration with the number of available base maps to download. Cheers to V&H for the constant improvements they've made to their product. The demo mode on this app is what lead me to purchasing an FP3. Highly recommend.. .

Fantastic.... A tool i can ACTUALLY USE to make my bike run as God and Harley-Davidson intended.... Plenty of options and maps for stage 1 and beyond.... the only way to get a better system is buying the thundermax ecm replacement and dedicating a laptop to it.... I recommend the FP3 to everyone i know that wants to make their EFI bike do what it should....

If the app Only had the ability to customize the sensor data colors/different layouts/themes then more convenience and riding friendliness could have been achieved. For instance I like to use the speed in the Middle section but I really don't need the speed range scale since I already have the speed in numbers Which is the first thing I quickly need to spot when passing a camera or limiting speed by other means. Thus freed space for a 6th or 7th parameter instead.

Easy to navigate. Takes minutes to load and your options are many! Great app.

All bikes should come factory equipped with a tuning module such that you just need to download the app. It loses communication occaisionally or has to be reset by unplugging and replugging it in. I keep mine plugged in full time and use it for speedometer and RPM indicator. Overall its an extremely handy tool! Being able to AutoTune is great. Cons: factory warranty is voided.

Great easy to use app and device, literally plug and play, would be great if it had support for more exhaust systems (doesn't show a generic option for my 2020 street 500), still getting used to all the options, a tutorial for tweaking tunes as a user would be great too, all in all very happy but as always a few tweaks would be great

Had this for around 18 months. Product is improving over time, customer service is excellent. I had a weird problem with my speedo (I'm in Australia), rang them up, fixed in 10 minutes. After a thorough autotune the tune is as perfect as possible, as a dyno tuner/operator of performance cars, I can vouch for its accuracy. Spark plugs look great, tailpipe is clean and I'm getting the correct mileage for the fuel table I created. Very happy. 2009 Nightster.

functionality wise its fine when it works,but it is causing an error on my note 10 that turns on the moisture notification. i thought i had water in my phone. so i cleaned it and uninstalled the last app i installed which was fp3. so i reinstalled it thinking it was water in my device. the next day got the moisture notification again. i tried everything and it wouldnt go away leading me to think my phone was water damaged. Then i deleted the fp3 app again restart my phone and the problem left.

The app is awsome in its layout but refuses to allow my iphone to pair with the bike. It really sux to have to borrow a friends androud just to set a map. Havent convienced anyone to allow me tl keep their phone long enough for auto tune,and damn if i buy another phone after spending $400 on a device that claimed compatability. No sensor data and tgats was my buying point! Very dissapointed . i keep checking if it may have been fixed- i already know what to expect (invalid vin cant connect)

The FP3 is Awesome, does just what its supposed to do. I would most definitely recommend this product. With every change I make to my bike there's a map for it. Customer service is Awesome, very helpful.

The FP3 does exactly what it says it's supposed to do. Plain and simple. It has many features. It has the necessary features. If you have a fuel injected bike, this is what you need to adjust Air Fuel mixture. That's not all it can do either. The functions are surely bike and model specific so do your research for yourself. Chances are, you'll be happy with this product.

This tuner is only missing one option..the top speed limiter. I would like to remove it since I take my bike down the quarter mile but v&h will not remove it through the customer service and its not an option in the app. They need to make it an option and I would give it 5 stars

Overall, I'm happy with the performance of the FP3. That being said, I suddenly have a "diagnostic active dashboard disabled" message. The only way to get rid of it is to remove the FP3.

'08 XL1200C, open air cleaner, SE II slip-ons, ECU download, all installed by HD dealer, wouldn't cruise at 35 MPH without the occasional hiccup. I finally caved when I saw that I could tune it myself with the FP3. My bike runs cooler, faster, and the fuel economy is even better. I love seeing what the sensors are putting out in real-time, but I'm pretty sure the torque and horsepower it shows are quite low (22 HP?). Why does it say my throttle position is not 100%? Wide open only shows 78%.

I run V&H fp3 over HD Street and Pro Tuner simply because its incredibly easy to use by anybody. I am not slamming HD but they're into making the bucks on RUBs (Rich Urban Bikers) who don't mind dropping large coin on HD products that require techs, extra equipment i.e. laptops and cables to download maps and a lot of information that the average rider will never use. The fp3 is none of that mess. Download the app connect via BT on your phone and done. $399.00 vs. $800.00++? No brainer! So easy.

Awesome tuner with exceptional customer service!!! So far an awesome product on my 2008 super glide custom UPDATE1 Customer support is 2nd to none. Any problems I've had they are right there helping me. Rewriting my tune etc. By far the best!!! Thank you vance & hines!!!

So far so good. Thoroughly impressed but it's my first fp3 and I wasn't even sure what it's capabilities were. Love tuning my bike with an app on my phone! Fπ¢k carburators, never want to see 4 of them at a time again! And now I don't have to!!!!

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Have had no issues. Allowed me to remap the fuel on my 2017 Fatboy for V&H Big Shots Staggered pipes. One thing I wished it did was allowed me to see my short and long term fuel trims. This would be a great addition. I'm also hoping V&H goes to a licensing model where you can purchase additional tune licenses for tuning additional bikes like Dynojet did with the Power Vision. Perhaps through a software update they can add this to the FP3?

So Far So Good !!!! 2008 Super glide custom. Love all the features and being able to fine tune. Decel pops almost gone. Still playing with it. Update as I go.....

Downloaded app. Installed big black sucker. Linked the fuel pack with my phone, found the correct map. And away we go! Runs like raped ape! Thank you vance and hines job well done!

Easy to use and very effective. The techs at V&H programmed a map for my set up even though my exhaust had no listed map. Top notch support.

Good app from greedy company The unit is expensive but its worth the money. However, once it's installed on the bike, it stays there. If I sell the bike, or even crush it beyond the point of repair, I always have to buy a new FP. I understand that they are trying to protect their IP, but the unregister FP from VIN flashing original map would prevent multiple usage from the single device. I bought new FP3 after I sold my first Harley, cause the first one I bought is locked. You lost a customer.

Great product. A must have if you want to tune your own bike. The V&H maps are very close but with autotune you can fine tune to your bikes needs.

The app is good and gives me a lot of info, the downside it doesn't store any info so I can look at it later. It has to be connected to the bike and bike has to be on. I'd like to look to the data when I'm not on the bike like sitting with my laptop so I could look up the stuff I don't know.

Doesn't do much without lots more work on the motor. Need to put at least new pipes filter and cams to get any benefits. Or even more!
