This was a great app. I was able to have a main page with avatars for my contacts. I could easily flip between the family, friends, work groups etc and quickly dial a particular person by tapping their avatar. That's all gone with the recent update and there is just a long list of contacts to search through. Not happy and am looking for a suitable alternative.
This product has a major flaw. You can't delete the history. Any contact you ever enter, can always be fond again in the app history via the web interface. Not only is this a major product flaw, its also a major security issue. In these days when we are concerned who has our data, FullContact is keeping the very content we want to erase. Soo bad. Just to add on the positive side that the app works very well. But without the delete, I'm forced to delete the app.
The latest update fried a lot of settings here like my account login, duplicate contacts, and even the blocked messages list. The last one has clearly been a differentiating factor of this app over others. The aesthetic overhaul might have sped up some of the apps functions but I wish the upgrade happened without the expense of the other unique functions. Too bad.
I am really disappointed that the latest update now displays ads in the call log. (They might be elsewhere, too, I just haven't seen them yet.) The new UI also seems like a step backward in my opinion. (For example, the icons for contacts in the display are now bigger, so fewer of them appear on screen at once.) I will be reevaluating my use of this app and looking for alternatives. $100 a year is too much to pay for almost any app.
I really want it to work, but truth is, it doesn't. Sync keeps failing, it doesn't even make simple changes happen, like changing profile picture. And this is true for the versions in Android, your browser and MacOS. Great idea. Very bad execution. I don't say this to hurt the developers or to make them look bad. Because I want this app to work so badly. But it simply keeps failing... 🙁 I'm afraid I'll have to look fo alternatives AFTER wasting a lot of time, trying to organise data in here.
I chose to go with another service, so I deleted addresses from Full Contact and revoked permissions, but Google addresses were deleted as well. A contact app should be able to be used for trial without making it hard to extricate. Only had it for a few hours, but it has deleted years of addresses. I really think it would be good to have instructions readily available for trial customers to extricate without hurting their contacts.
i like most thing about this app, however, when the simplest of functions isnt among the many advanced ones, its hard to understand how they expect someone to possibly pay 100 bucks a year for premium. i rely on my "Favorite" contacts (starred), all the time, and not having the ability to see them in my android app, when its something i can so in almost all other contacts apps, takea away 2 stars
I have purchased this app a long time ago. It used to be awesome. Out of nowhere despite my so called Pro version, a bunch of functionalities were just withdrown. Now I have a contacts number limit, no caller icons in the widgets drawer and my contacts won't show their Whatsapp links anymore. More: now I've being asked to sign a subscription up for simple functions I'm sure I had before. I am moving to Drupe and encourage everyone to do the same.
[NEW REVIEW, 070321, Av10, A505U1] I like this app a lot but there is a few things that I would like to see added. In other Advanced contact editors, in the input boxes for addresses and phone numbers and such, mainly addresses, you can hit enter and expand the input box so the data that you entered do not look like a text Wrapped Document, it said it expanded the input box making it more look like a Advanced contact form allowing me to see and customize data in a non-wrap to text format.
I continue having issues keeping a straight contact list with my iPhone and Android both using Full contact. I only have two emails and two phones but I have give this app around 2 years to figure out a way to sync between the phones and emails. They haven't yet.
Like many others I paid because I loved the app. Been using for years, even installed on family phones. In all my years I have never seen such a cockup on an update (apart from Microsoft who at least admitted it). You have turned a great app into one I wouldn't buy. Currently looking for an alternative or using the phones own one. Shame on you
actually this is good, but unfortunately there is no black theme. The white background is too strong for the eyes, making the eyes tired and uncomfortable.the price is too expensive. need to make the Lite version without syncing anything just sync to google id.
I paid for the upgraded service yet I'm still limited to 1000 contacts. When I try to synch my contacts, the app sends me to the upgrade page and attempts to have me pay for the upgrade again. Waste of my time and my money.
Disapointing. Pay high dollar. Cant have yoir own theems. Cant see when copy pase in text all blank. Hsve to ame touch till you find the invisable spot to copy in. Same with save photos sent n mms. In order to save much less open messahes i have to use contacts plus??? Whats up with all the half measures??? 😼
Horrible experience, Paid for app but gets treated with advertisements and no features. I'm a Premium user of Contacts+ but now with 6.0 dey have left me without the Premium service. 15 follow ups in mails ✉ but no positive response. Contacts+ team lack courtesy even to respond to mail ✉. They reverted initially dat the issue will be resolved and provided with Silver 🥈 membership but not even that is provided. Horrible services of Contact+, cheated me. Return back my money. Deserves 0 stars.
I rated this app as a 1 b/c that was the lowest available option. I have tried for nearly a month to get a problem resolved, with no likelihood of resolution... were I using the free version I would tolerate this type of experience, but I am not. I am a paying customer, and for several years now. Customer service and customer support is horrid. If the folks at Contacts+ are reading this review and are interested in helping me, great. I will revise this review. If not, that affirms my belief.
Like others I had paid for a pro version but now only have access to the standard free version with ads and limited contacts storage. Disgusting business practice, very unethical! I hope to find a replacement app soon!
Search doesn't work, mabe it's just that i have over 5000 contacts and i am synching across three sources of contacts. Thought this app would federate the contacts without merging them. Still confused which product does what, either this one or Contacts+ which works totally differently. Doesn't seem to handle messaging well at all.
The app crashes on my OnePlus 5 if you try to link to your Google account you have to skip or create a new account. why not make the business card scanning feature in contacts + when you've purchased it or make it an in-app purchase for the business card scanning feature instead of having to install whole new app and buying it again. (I can't use an existing Contacts+ account thats sad )
This app was when it was full contact. Today it routinely. Corrupts my. Contacts. I don't. Even want it.to update contacts as the algorithm is so bad it it 75% wrong. But come on. Keep contacts straight between platforms. I'm beta test it for my company and will probably drop it. If you have the money from Microsoft E5, and Dialpad Salesforce, you'll get farr superior product.
I have been using contact+pro for a while maybe over two years. contacts. I have struggled with it all of the time as it would merge contacts together automatically and I would loose the information for some of the contacts. It had been a hassle from the start and I should have done away with this right away. My health is not very good and I don't get things done as fast as I should. the concept of this app is good it is a shame that it does not work like it should. I have wasted a lot of money on this app that I just do not have. I would not recommend for anyone to use this app. Carl Felker
i used the app under a paid subscription for a year. they charged me for a second year without communicating. i cancelled and asked for a refund. FullContact would NOT refund $100. After communicating several times, they still said NO. Poor Business practice.
I've been contacts + member for years and even purchased their pro version before the new pro app came out. now all of the pro features that I used to use are gone and apparently moved to this app which charges monthly. my old contacts+ app even lost its sync feature. fine I'll move over.... oh wait.... the account I've been using for years isn't found please create a new account? ok..... pooofffff all of my contacts are gone..... yep..... nope..... I'll just use my phones SMS app from now on.
Paid and it hasn't worked. I also was asked to pay 19.99 extra and they took it x5. Contacted my bank and am trying to recoop 100.00
Worked really well until last year it decided it can no longer sync with exchange server. Impossible to put in the necessary log in info like username that is different from email address.
Update completely reverted my account to "standard". New "pro" version of software is sadly lacking in features. No dark mode anymore. I paid for this app years ago and now they pulled a bait and switch to force people into an INSANELY expensive subscription model. What a scam. Goodbye from a previously happy customer.
Not working on Samsung Galaxy S8+ Tried to use app but it entered into an update mode. This blocked me from using my phone. Had to hard reset the phone to regain control. Uninstalled. I will go back to using the webapp only.
Confused as into how I paid a one-time fee years ago, update and now basically have a free account to be forced into a monthly fee. This is a scam tactic that should be reported.
Intuitively, the use of humans to process business cards scans makes sense. But in practice, it leads to fairly uneven scanning. What's really difficult is that there's no way to check the most recent scans and quickly audit the work that has been done. New cards just disappear into a general pile unless you memorise the names of the people you've scanned in, which kind of defeats the purpose. Merging of duplicates - could do with a process to pick which entry a the field level to use rather than just a simple merge or not merge of all fields.
