I downloaded this game with hopes to play and have fun. I absolutely love Futurama but this app doesn't work. I've tried uninstallling and re-installing various times in my phone. Every time I open it the app crashes immediately. Please fix the issues so everyone who installs it can have a chance to play as well. I know I'm not the only one who is frustrated by this issue.

Quite good and funny game. What is disappointing is the frequent inability to autosave the progress when quitting the game. Can't count how many times I sent characters on doop missions, on their activities, began building, even collected the daily reward... And when you open the game the next day, everybody roams the streets doing nothing, nothing is built a I "missed" the daily streak reward. So combined with the long waiting time when you don't want to pay, it is becoming unplayable.

Probably my favorite mobile game. I've been a Futurama fan literally my entire life, and would have to say this game is very good. So many references to episodes from when it first came out to right before it ended. Also, the space missions when theres those pixelated turn based fights are so fun. But, it is also a waiting game in some ways. If you more want full on action, maybe try a different game. This is a bit slow and involves waiting for things to be done building, or actions to be over.

I'm a huge fan of Futurama. I was happy to see they made an actual movie for the introduction, then was disappointed when it turned out speeches ingame are just quotes from the series. And of poor quality at that. I play with headphones and can literally hear the difference in the sound. Like someone pressed "play" then "stop". Also, the theme music on the map doesn't loop which makes everything way too quiet once it ends. If I don't want to hear it, I'll shut it in options. It should loop.

Fun, but you need to pay to play. The completion times take forever and there's not enough easy ways to get pizza slices. Also, the levels you have to upgrade characters to, in order to unlock things or do missions, is a little ridiculous and costly. Patience is an understatement with this game. I wish they made it more easy so you could play more than a few minutes at a time with several hours in between play times.

I like Futurama. It's one of the shows I can still watch all the way through. So I was really excited when the game came out. I downloaded it the first week it hit but it had bugs. So I uninstalled for about a year in hopes that they would finally fix them. Sadly they did not. I reinstalled about 2 months ago and had to start over even though I linked to my fb which was annoying considering I lost all my characters I unlocked from special events. For the past few weeks I've been trying to level up to rank 3 but the daily planet will not let me keep my rank 3 badges. I have many characters at level 30 but that's all the further I can take them. I've unlocked Zoidberg but I need to rank up to be able to play Decapod 10. I've messaged the "help team" both through email and on the app with no luck. Not sure if they are intentionally ignoring my issues or if they really don't understand what's going on. Even though I've explained multiple times to a few different people maybe someone competent will read this review and understand why I'm frustrated. So I am going to be uninstalling again. Maybe I'll decide to try again in another year. Maybe not.

The concept is great, and I like the way that the missions are set up, but the map layout of the the city and the frivolous nature of package resource production makes it much less enticing. You can spend more time trying to find a place to to place a building or figure out what you even need to advance levels rather than the campaigns themselves. Buy, the worst part is the way they push buying stuff you don't want at every turn.

Game is fun. Freemium elements are there, but they aren't any worse than any other similar style game. Most annoying issue: Game frequently doesn't autosave when I exit (even if I use the Scruffy "are you sure you want to exit?" screen). I'll set everyone to a 8-12 hour task and go to bed, only to check the next day and see them wandering the streets, never having done the task. Give us a manual save or fix this bug!

I like this game. But, I had to buy a whole new tablet just to be able to play it. It was constantly crashing, I could make zero progress, and I quit for a long time I was so frustrated. I'm playing again now thanks to new tablet, but the game still crashes every so often. I have all the moving stuff in storage to ease this. It's harder than it should be. Not enough nixonbucks, not enough chips, and certain characters required disks, which are now gone so they can't be upgraded :(

Really simple, fun game to play. The story lines are hilarious, just like the TV show itself. It's easy to earn pizza slices (premium currency) and the quests are challenging but not overly difficult. I'd say the only thing that could be improved is that I unlocked the Nibbler character during an event but I can't upgrade him as it requires the event currency! It doesn't make much sense for those who want to use Nibbler long-term. If that issue was fixed I could easily rate this game 5 stars!

I really enjoy this game because I love Futurama so much people think I have issues. It's not too committal either which is good because I'm not a huge gamer but like something I can kill 30 mins here and there with. That said, there is a lot of bugs in the game, for example, often actions I've set characters to do are forgotten by the game next time I open it. I loose that time, which is big factor of the game, and I have to start back from a previous point. Not ideal and can be irritating.

J. S. Oct 5, 2020

Was fun at first (when it was still supported), but it's going on two years since ANY events were held - and those are required to level up a significant number of characters you unlock along the way... Redit says it's been abandoned for some time now, and I think they are right. Alas, after I finish this review, it's getting uninstalled.

Extremely disappointing. Futurama is one of my all time favorite cartoon shows. I had high hopes for this game. But it became VERY EXPENSIVE to play. After a while it became VERY TEDIOUS to play. I changed to a newer version of my Samsung galaxy phone and the game is not compatible with the new screen size. It wouldn't even open. Although I've been sticking with the game for a very long time - I had no choice but to unistall it. The hours, effort and money that I put into this game are gone.

Pros: graphics, references to Futurama, occasional good joke. Cons: looks more like a Facebook game than anything else - you have to keep going back to wait for the fuel to load, or to get money, hence all the microtransactions; game keeps pushing you to buy stuff; total lack of any new voiceover (except for short sentences which they took from the show). For Devs: bugs in Cornwood - all the enemies on quests in space are missing/invisible (also some item images when choosing option).

For fans, it's a fairly good adaptation of the first half of a story. The stories and dialogues are pretty much what we've been used to from the cartoon. As an app, it's not too great. App freezes and crashes, sound gets stuck on a loop, it's slow to load and pane around. My device renders some 3D better than this one. As a game it's ok as a casual distraction, but it's impossible to end. Some things take a long time to gather cash to do and character advancement becomes pretty much impossible after a few planets. I was hoping to get to the end, to see how the story finishes. That should really be the focus of such a game. Instead, they made it so that it'd never end. So fans should be prepared to play this as if you'd only get to watch the first half of an episode, but never know how it'll end.

Boring. I love Futurama, but I lost all enthusiasm for this game after 4 days. You're just hopping from one unfinished task to the next, unable to finish them unless you are willing to pay money. There is no linear story so its difficult to know what you're supposed to do next. And it's a pain in the a$$ having to click to collect rent every 30 secs. Positioning structures is inaccurate + clumsy. I REALLY wanted to like this game but I'm uninstalling and going to try American Dad instead.

Lin. H. Dec 13, 2019

I only have a few things I wish were different . 1- be able to zoom out more, because it's hard to edit the city 2- have access to the roads and sidewalks in edit mode and to be able to find out where the characters are, instead of having to click on every building, when I'm looking for a certain person. Other than those, I love this game . I even signed into my Facebook so I could have all my progress on my tablet lol

This is a fun game when you've hit all the goals and can just play but it takes so long to get there - like several days. I'll log on just to send my people that aren't already on 12-hour or 16-hour missions on rando missions so I can get money but the game glitches all the time. You'll buy a building or an upgrade or something that you need to continue the storyline and the next time you open the app you won't have the upgrade/building/whatever AND you won't have the money to buy it, again.

MJ. A. Apr 8, 2019

Good concept but it takes far too long to do anything, you'll spend hours waiting for things to finish to spend two whole minutes playing to discover you still can't move forward. It's a really good game, well designed, good graphics and gameplay, however it's ultimately pointless.

Elo. G. Jan 16, 2019

GREAT references and the art is on point.Too bad the actual grind is terrible, wait times are worse and to top that off almost every cool aspect of the game is BADLY monetized. Gameplaywise the combat is almost non existent, the city building needs a lot of work (just to name a few: buildings are set up to just face two directions which sometimes makes them hard to tap, roads don't match, etc). It makes me sad because Futurama is GREAT, this game is not.

Red. M. May 28, 2019

obviously addicting and creative in stories and ways to improve the city, but takes forever to earn enough money to get most things. Also takes forever going through each character to set a quest. Needs cheaper items, an auto quest setting, and monthly adaptations of holidays/events. At this point in the game I just pop in to collect building money and leave to play more eventful games. Love it, just need incentives.

Good game, but it felt like progress was too slow. I got the simpsons and family guy games aswell and this one was the first to go. The battle element of the game is unique, but takes more than it gives. Loads of nixonbucks are needed to level up characters and some levels need to be replayed multiple times because they drop rare items needed for quests. Also the only way to get pizza for free is by 100% clearing the levels which requires lots of replaying and upgrading.

Jac. F. Jan 19, 2019

I enjoy playing the game for the most part. Only downside is, if you don't collect enough specialty carrer chips. You can not level up all the characters. During the limited missions that are put out. Like Nibbler and Morbo for example. So frustrating in that aspect. But otherwise, I really enjoy playing the game.

A. G. u. Jan 11, 2021

We finally got an event which was great. The updated Cornewood was fun, but now that the event is over the game freezes about 5-7 seconds after opening the game. This is the reason for my low rating. This needs to be fixed asap or I'm sure players won't bother checking if there's a fix for much longer... I sure won't.

And. M. Oct 28, 2020

Has minor bugs but still fun. Trying to play this without spending any real money is tough. They really harass you to purchase in game content to progress forward. My major problem with this game is that after waiting upwards of 8hrs for an item to unlock, a bug prevents you from actually receiving it. So often times it takes about a week to get one character unlocked successfully. I've tried on two different android phones.

CJ. D. May 27, 2019

Fun and engaging! All the main characters from Planet Express, plus many minor characters! First update in a year has added things I asked for: character tracker, no more scrolling for minutes to find the right sized career chip. Also, reward drops now give you an onscreen number. However, direct support is broken: "Network error. Tap to retry."

Dan. C. Aug 5, 2020

Don't bother completing offers for rewards, you wont get them. Support is a joke. Game was fun until the buildings became so expensive you literally need to save for weeks to unlock, but during this time you cant level you heros or progress in the story. I also don't like how when you clear the waves for a character, you then need to collect items to unlock them. This too can take weeks and usually requires ANOTHER building to drop a special item.

B. M. Jun 21, 2019

It's funny and mostly fun. It does takes forever to grind through and the adverts are mindnumbingly repetitive if you want to earn pizza slices. I am enjoying the gameplay and the on point dialogue. I only wish we could spin the buildings around 360 degrees make the decorative objects look as they would on a map and the game more immersive. I hope this will be addressed in a future update.
