G Cloud Backup

Insufferable experience on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Since upgrading, the app continuously crashes when backing up. Also, I keep getting booted and told my credentials have changed (they haven't). I'm frustrated enough that if my annual subscription hadn't just renewed, I'd cancel. I appear to have access to my previous device backups, but it's essentially useless on my newest phone. If you're looking for reliable data backups, I'd avoid this app until they fix these bugs.

I just installed this 2 days ago and it works great. It doesn't take very long to backup. Even though it says to use a WiFi connection to make it go quicker it's not really necessary. Just using data it backs up in 2 minutes. I now know I have all of my photos, contact phone numbers & texts stored and when I purchase a new device all of my information will be there.

Does not back up downloaded videos. Does not backup 100%. I agree with negative review Julie and I know my way around storage apps. I have used Box for years. I have made a mistake buying this. It's convoluted, confusing. Not all photos uploaded.. I am missing the bulk. Folders also didn't upload. I have given up on videos. The Gallery does not integrate well with the storage.

Most reliable backup app I have ever used. I've been using it for around 6 or 7 years. It really does a great job of categorizing everything it's saves the phones you've used to backup and even keeps the data under the phones name it was uploaded from. The absolute best you can find I suggest investing a few bucks just to have the extra storage because its absolutely worth it.

G Cloud is easy to use. I like that there are different options of storage space to choose from and even ways to get more storage free! It is perfect for keeping all of my previous memories and important records in one place! Plus it's very reasonable priced.

Love the security and piece of mind knowing my information and data records are being saved in order to archive and preserve the things most important to you and provide accurate document retrieval at a touch of a button. I have been using the app for over 2 years and haven't had any problems to date. Highly recommend G Cloud for personal data protection. Great app. Easy to use. So glad I had this app. Recently replaced a malfunctioning phone and the tech at the store didn't transfer all of my data. I Unfortunately didn't realize this until after I mailed my old phone back to Verizon. Luckily I had this app and was able to recover all of my information. So happy!!!

The app is super,now my musics are saved,it really nice when you using an app and it dosen't just stay and start behaving somehow....who ever came up with this idea or creation i give he or she a thumps up ,every thing here works just fine and wonderful....no complains to be issued cos i can't even make out one sef, its just all good here, especially i can now backup my musics ,ahh that was really giving me an head ache, i was always losing my musics anytime i change my phone ,i feel veryokaynow

Amazing app backed up what I needed found onedrive was rubbish and ended up with 2/3 lots of same stuff when syncing or uploading on laptop which caused a brand new laptop to run out of disk space and lag and not run properly cannot understand onedrive and get no where with windows as that's just the way it's designed apparently. I recommend Google to back up pictures 📸

Had this app on both my wife's phone and my own. On both it stopped auto backing up, and in my wife's case she lost all her contacts. With myself I only realised when I went to do a manual backup before changing my phone. According to the app my account doesn't exist! Completely untrustworthy as a backup app. To add insult to injury, I had to reinstall it to leave this review!

In fact, this is the best app of it's kind to backup all your data , information and files. I highly recommend this to everyone who is in need of the same. Very simple to navigate through. Though I'm short of words, this app in the final analysis, is the optimal . Kudos to the developers, keep it up.

A brilliant storage app that meets all my requirement needs with regards to more storage on my mobile Android phone knowing that messages , videos and pictures are stored safely on this cloud and i have access to retrieve them easy and fast. This cloud does what it says and im loving it. Thank you🙏

Horrible customer support, canned answers only. Can only store data from multiple phones in separate profiles if they are different models (if you have two phones of the same model on the account it puts all the data together making it impossible if you need to restore).

My phone has been saying full storage.I found this app G Cloud for free to backup everything. I wish I would have found this app before hand because I deleted so much Gmail, some files and some pictures. This app is so easy to use I am in late 40's and it's awesome to be able to use this app it's easy you can understand what you need to do. Oh yeah and don't forget that you have a lot of ways to earn free storage. Thanks GCloud this grandma is happy!!

Recently, my 5 years old lifetime paid account was auto logged out on my one device saying that your credentials has changed. On contacting the support, I was suggested to uninstall on my both active devices and to do the forget password process and install again. When my issue was not solved doing the suggested process, I replied to support again about the issue but my e-mail was not accepted by their server. Now the same issue occurred to my another device. How should I contact them?

Love that its easy to use and so far no problems backing up, locating or restoring any of my files. One of the better apps outthere..my recommendation to download this one it's a must ..you will not be disappointed.

Woah I never thought it will be this better. It backs up all my files including music, now I have more storage to download my apps. I can't believe there's still much more space left no matter how many files I back up, it's really a good app.

Had for a few months now. And I've had absolutely no problems with storage. I can back up and save automatly between certain hours and I love that.

So easy to use and keeps you backed up and safe at all times. Also it's free to get you started with low cost upgrades for more storage. Backup your contacts, photos, videos, messages, documents - pretty much all your data.

I've traded in phones, lost a phone, and broken a phone. Thank goodness for having all my pictures, videos, contacts, etc saved in G Cloud Backup! Having my stuff backed up is a huge relief.

Since updated to version 10.0.2, the app no longer able to login. Uninstalled, for now, until new fix is released. Update: After contacting support, it appears that I need to lower the password length, then only able to login. However, after successfully login, the Home page shows error message "Something unexpected happened, please try again later". Update 1: As of 2022, after contacted support on resolving error message issue years ago, still no further follow-up from them. Rubbish app!!!

Wow. I've been using other cloud backup services. Anyone has atleast one drawback. It's amazing. G cloud backup allows you to store all type of files. This is cool...

Was great, until recently. Now I can't use the app, because it keeps telling me to disable battery optimization, even though I clearly did already. There is no way to dismiss the message.

Be careful with this one . If you will ever want to cancel sub (price doubled since I have started) and will want to move the stored files from previous phones nobody will even bother get back to you .tried via app & email and all I hear is crickets ... I don't recommend this service . Happy to change review if I can get back my backed up stuff (my memories from few years back)

This is one of the better cloud apps that is out there. Super easy. Fast download. Different choices to be uploaded. User friendly and finding your uploaded item with ease. Definitely would recommend it to back up your photos and documents without a worry.

Backup isnot working. It uses all data. I had to buy new data. I deleted the G cloud app & installed new ap. Still n ot wotking. I will not buy new data every day. Pldasehelp. I currently have unlimited backup onyourbackup plan.

I just started using it I've heard about it it's easy to use I like it so we're going to see how it goes from here I'm giving it five stars because normally don't have the problem with cloud backup cuz I run out of storage all the time on my phone.

This was the answer to all my problems of storage with my phone I love this app because it does everything for me my contacts my videos my music the audio the photos the messages everything.
