The app is smooth. But the data is not syncing with the web site. Besides, the trackers used by this app is annoying
Quite a good app and I like their clothing BUT the number of times that clothes are only available in extra-large sizes is seriously annoying.
Quite surprised that a clothing brand has such a stable app for browsing and purchasing their goods. 4/5 so far and is due to optimization and just personal QoL aspects.
This app seems great on the surface. Issues start when you actually want to buy something with it. It should be faster than online shopping. In my experience it often wastes my time. Sometimes it just freezes at startup and doesn't fully load. Another time I cannot use a promo code that I was given specifically to only use with... the app. And, maybe most irritatingly, already a few times, when I was done shoppimg and wanted to finally pay, it froze too. Please debug it more thoroughly...
Looks great, as expected from g-star. I've not tried the checkout yet, and if it's not working like others have said, I'm sure it will be addressed soon as the app is only about A DAY OLD! One thing I have spotted is in the "filter and sort" feature. I can go through all the filter options, but I can seem to sort the results. perhaps I'm being blind, but I'm sure it isn't there.
Ive bought from takealot and Superbalist.G star is THE WORST🤮🤮🤮 App when it comes to returns...i ordered in January and wanted to return one jean..it is now April and they still havent came to collect.when you call their help desk they refer you to Fedex.then when you call Fedex they tell you to email with all the details for collection.then after emailing they respind after three weeks asking you to confirm the collection address...im not buying from G star Raw EVER AGAIN.ill sell that jean

Look and feel of the app is good. Easy to browse and order. Only biggest issue is the login feature which doesn't work at least for me. Every time I key in my password I get a message " Information is incomplete. Please review the highlighted field". This doesn't happen on website just on the app. Hopefully will be fixed.
Cool app, the UI is really impressive! They did a great job. Only negative point I have is the fact that the wish button (heart) will not be kept in your account, only to the device you're logged to. Not a big deal but I have checked many items and lost them all since I changed phone.
Tried the app rather than using the website - sure there was an extra 10% discount for orders using the app so that was an extra incentive. The experience was flawless. Easy to navigate, and checkout was swift and easy. Tbh, I wish more stores would have a solution this smooth.
Looks good but its slow, fails to load items correctly after applying filters, the filters for jeans should be based on waist and length but they aren't, after applying a filter and while scrolling items all items disappear, ... There's a lot to be improved in this app to make it useful.
BEYOND TERRIBLE. The credit card/Paypal payment functions do not work consistently for the app or on the mobile website. I called customer service, pressed option 2 for help with payments...useless. The agent saw the transaction using the last four of my credit card. She told me to wait until I had access to a computer. The alternative was to submit a ticket, which would get a response within a week. Businesses are struggling during the pandemic. I tried to buy. I think the CEO would want to understand how tech is slowing sales. LOVE THE JEANS, HATE THE APP.
This is one of the best apps I ever used. Everything is well designed and navigation inside products is intuitive. The shipping experience is flowless. I also love the products from this brand and it's quality.
As of the last month or so the app is not working. I'm a long time customer and the issue has just started. Please debug the app or you will lose both old and new business. High quality products, but bad app is a lose-lose proposition.
App doesn't work at all!!!!!! Blank page, even the browser doesn't work, wanted to unsubscribe but I can't, big fail for both, app and website! Have to block it from my mail vendor to stop frustration!!!!!
The app always fails at check out. Like right now now I have 18 items in my cart I would like to purchase but the app won't bring up the total. So on order to purchase my items I have to clear the cart and start shopping over. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I MAKE A CART.If you make a cart it needs 2 always load the total. Why do I have to start my cart over because the total will not load? I have an account with gstar so if u can look into my account and see my cart along with help me purchase my item
Impeccable!! G-Star is simply amazing! The most high quality materials and incredible stitching. They're absolutely beautiful! Also very very good customer service! Their response to any issue you might have is always satisfying 💯
Ordering through the app works fine. However, after sales customer service is a nightmare. Returning items and getting reimbursed can take weeks. When confronting them with it, you get ignored, emails remain unanswered. Customer service is the achiles heel of G star. Such a shame. Now let's see if they wake up after reading this. Ha!
In my opinion one of the best clothing apps you can get
Disaster for a high-quality company not to have an app, that supports international customer. Can't enter Danish/Russia addresses, keeps crashing, doesn't save the lines you've put in, a hassle to use, better to use webbrowser then the app.

I have had the worst experience ever from online shopping. I purchased goods app never showed me a clear indication where my garments were. Eventually i start investigating and calling. I receive an email saying my goods are being returned. When i call gstar no answer and no feedback when i email to enquire. I am utterly disappointed
Great app but doesn't load sometimes. Makes shopping a real breeze and like the fact that you can see the whole catalog and not a limited version.
The App doesn't load any content. Any thumbnail clicked on home is landing on empty screen with out any data. I'm a developer myself. please do check the API response data 😂

I placed my order on Sunday and received it today on a Tuesday if that's not an effective service delivery then it must be something better, I am impressed. But there is just one flaw and that's not confirming the identity of the person who made the order i.e. Asking for ID by the delivery guy the order might land on the wrong hands but overall keep up the good job and promptness.
I'm trying to purchase on the app and I'm getting a message when completing my address to say "The information is incomplete" despite all fields being completed properly and cannot progress. I contacted support via WhatsApp and no response over 24 hours later.
Do not buy from here it is a scam. I had to purchased a product and got a confirmation number from this company. A few hours later I had gotten a cancellation because the product was not available! If you go on their website they are still selling the product but instead of the $48 it is now $80! I contacted customer service and they said purchase the item for $80 and then they will give me a refund after I receive the product! This is a scam!
