Asked for a login... To what? I just need a simple RSS reader.
Made an account and it refuses to let me log in.
The server domain is broken.
It's online. It's free.
Just installed this. Hoping it actually replaces greader as my daily reader. Will update this review later... It asked me for an email address! I couldn't get beyond the screen to register an email address. Sorry, uninstalled.
I was able to import an opml of my subscriptions into G2 desktop, which I was able to sync to my smartphone. It's slow, I'll say that for G2, maybe the slowest of all the readers I've tried. But it does seem stable, apart from some article lists being displayed out of correct date order. Although as I write this it has "stopped unexpectedly", force quit required. Dislike that it lists by subscription first, then by article. For that reason I'll probably not be continuing with it.
This app is the best replace for google reader, I have tried feedly and some others but this app is just what I needed. great enviroment, very similar to previous google reader experience. great work.
After last changes on server I don't get news text. Only titles show up. No problems with desktop version.
Probably it is server fault. Also failed to load OPML.
Nice but crashes when entering settings. Asus TF701, Kitkat 4.4.2.
Howe to login through Facebook in this app as I use the same on pc
I love the speed of G2Reader--both website and mobile versions. It would be nice to have a dark theme.
Using the mobile website is more efficient than the app. The app requires more clicks to go through headlines and either mark as read or star for later reading. Also, the mobile website will show real-time updates, where the app allows you to sync in the background or manually... but the mobile website seems to load faster anyway and won't draw extra battery power while running in the background. The only advantage to the app is that it can tap into the standard android sharing options.
Used to read via Web browser, since installing the app, the experience has just been so much better. Works fluidly and highly recommended.
Great replacement for Google Reader. Have been using since 2013. Great product.
