GA 10: Lords of Nurroth

Nurroth, north of Orlandes City, is often viewed as an uncultured den of pirates and thieves. I have played the heavy metal thunder and sol invictus. Loved them. Been wanting something not so sci fi this time. Love the development and production in this choose your own way. Like they story so far. But dang I died fast. Never died in one of these so was kind of exciting. So round to in this fun and interesting story.

I am not a usual user of these types of games, but found the story immersive and compelling to read. I was unable to resist knowing the results to all the possibilities and went back and forth often in casual mode just to read the different paths. Very fun, I hope they write another one soon!

This is actually well written. It starts of promisingly, keeps shaping up to be one of Tinman's best, then... stops as its getting going. Seriously - they've done some fantastic gamebooks but this is way to short. The book ends just as it feels its about to open up which, unfortunately, is about half an hour into it.

But still worth reading. GA10 starts out very strong with an interesting story. The theif element adds to the experience and gives an interesting fresh twist of challenge to certain sequences. But the story itself ends just as soon as it seems to get going properly which left me wanting more from this adventure overall. I have been a fan of these books since reading GA1 and have enjoyed this series a lot (1,4,6,7,8 being highlights). The layout and production are as solid as ever and the game runs smoothly.
