GA State Parks Outdoors Guide
This FREE all-inclusive outdoor guide was created in a collaborative effort between the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and ParksByNature Network®, and the next generation of the app is better than ever.
Powered by Pocket Ranger® technology, the app gives outdoor enthusiasts an environmentally friendly way to enjoy the parks. It contains everything you need to plan a trip to the state parks, navigate them once you get there, and share your experiences afterward.

This app took lots of memory from my phone, and not responding it. At the some point even asked me to turn on Bluetooth, which I don't know why. Not suggesting to download.
When I see in TOC this is not FAA certified.. I had to stop there... Of course aviation is not going to certify an app for state parks. So after the click to accept aspect I never went further.
This does not work! Use to work but does not anymore.
It keeps freezing up and shutting down.
Easy way to remember dates of seasons and bag limites
Absolutely awesome.
I can't use the app because an ad won't close and stay closed, the same ad keeps coming up right after I close it. Makes it hard to decide what park I want to visit when I can't get rid of the ad. Fix it so I can use the app and I'll rerate based on my experience with it
Terrible. Poorly designed interface just to give you out of date/incorrect information everywhere. Save yourself the headache and just go to the actual DNR website.
I haven't used the app in a while and just figured out that it was apparently revised from the original, icon included. The old version would give a network sync error of some type. The new version installs without errors, but only displays a blank grey screen with "Pocket Ranger" at the top when opened. Nothing functions. From good app to completely useless. Please fix it. I have a LG Stylo 3 Plus.
Haven't used this app in a while and decided to download it again. Seems that you can't do anything now without clicking on and going to the advertisements that keep popping up. Whenever I want to find out anything, and advertisement for Thermasal pops up, and there is no clearing it, even when clicking the big X on the top right of the screen. I don't take time for advertising. Looks I'll be looking for another app. Don't even mind purchasing an app if it means not having to deal with advertising.
This little app is so handy at checking out amenities and it also includes phone numbers. It's simple and really helpful
Can't get the app to work. Get a mostly black screen. Just called Georgia State Park office for assistance and was told the app hasn't been supported since 2015.
Unfortunately I cannot use the app. It crashes upon opening.
App doesn't work. All I get is a black screen. If I try any of the menu options the app crashes.
It does what I need, but I don't like the startup and some of the imterface.
This app is very slow to load, and locks up at times. Other than that, its ok.

I use this app to plan my trips and on my trips! The only thing is where it shows that a park has swimming is not always true.
It's just not working at all it's just a black screen in anytime I select anything the app force closes
Well, it used to be great. Now I can,t even get the home screen to pop up. Tried install, uninstall, reinstall, same thing. Simply doesn,t work.
The app just opens to a gray screen pure rubbish
Unusable. Just a grey screen and unselectable options. It used to be a good app. Now it's trash. Update: Have now tried it on 3 different Android devices. All have the same issue. Can you please fix?
