New review: After almost 2 years, I am using it again, still most of those problems which I have mentioned in my previous review remained except downloads problems. But UI&UX improved a lot. Website is worst. In this work from home time, many people using website and that website is just trash. Old review: Very bad experience, it don't play last played song when in background and also it doesn't remember the time at which song stopped playing. Now I am unable to download songs, what an app.
UI should be changed. When streaming, often in the middle of the song, if we pause or no network then after resume it started from the beginning. Song search and recommendation is worst. Many many songs are not present in this app. Worst experience. Being a premium user, I don't recommend anyone to use this app.
Some features need to be placed in the shortcut bar such as favorite songs and downloads. The search button needs to be moved to the Home and other shortcut bars for the convenience of the user. If the download option without premium service is kept open for everyone, its use will increase a lot.
quality is great no doubt. but the biggest drawback is lots & lots of greatest songs aren't in the platform which are available on other music streaming app ( like MAHEROO MAHEROO by sherya goshal). & there is no option for request a song . one more letdown is Bengali songs stock is limited the most popular songs of all time isn't available in the app please fix this.
I like the app but OMG it has so many glitches.First of all many times when ads end it doesn't play the song next but instead just glitch pause it at start and it takes around a minute to fix it,and many times after ad the song sounds distorted and I've to stop my work to fix that,also many the song plays distorted and there is the ad background which means I can't even fix it.Also some songs are not present like we are legends by valley of wolves,original wavin flag.there are other better apps.
Horrible The app is nit responding at all. I am unable to login the app. Each time, i try to login it displays error and asks me to try after sometime. But the problem continues even after numerous try. The problem fixed now but work on search panel even after clicking on search button it doesn't responds it just buffers for a while and then stops. Rest the audio quality is good.
Edited: worst search result ever. I am giving the less than one star but Play Store is not allowed me to do so. Many songs isn't present in the gaana. Also search feature is not working well as compared to another music app when we type a letter even it's not showing any suggestions. Lyrics is not present.
Everything is good but some albums are present from outside but not from inside some albums are empty from inside don't have songs such as :- bajirao mastani (hindi version), kalank etc I also interacted with your team but when I gave them all information they didn't reply 🙄and not updated yet . Sometimes song stops in the middle and next song start playing which is pretty much annoying I also wrote an e mail but got no response and now only 2 songs playing at a time after this it stops Playing
3 annoying issues with the app: 1. Theme gets auto changed to default after some hours. 2. Bugs in gaana alarm. Somtimes there is no stop or snooze button appears when alarm rings. Even after force closing the app, alaram continue to play. 3. Gets hanged very frequently. Ok...for free users. But does not deserve the paid subscription. Think before going for subscriptions plan. These issues are for years and never resolved. Developer does not even responds to the reported issues.
Recommendations have not improved even after years of using. Same sequences of songs in autoplay. I even get irritating songs repeatedly recommended in autoplay even after skipping them always. This is not the case with other apps like Wynk or JioSavn. And, I'm not interested in Vimal Ilaichi. No respect for preferred languages as well. Update : A recent update took away the tab views to find songs by year and language - the only thing for which I started an one year subscription. 🙏
Please work on navigation though the app. I'm a plus member of Gaana. Other apps are much better when compared to Gaana while using. Here the navigation is not that easy. Like the back toggle, minimising, theme and so on. It's overfilled. Like there's so much on the screen. Keep it simple and easy to use.
I have been a Gaana user for the last 2 years and what I am feeling is too much of a disappointment. I am a premium user which should bring premium services and high facilities with a flawless user experience but here this app proves us wrong. The app is having too many bugs that if you sorted one the other is waiting for its turn in the line already. Literally every 3 months I get a new bug and i have to go for help and after solving another keeps on coming. I am tired and switching to Spotify.
Hi, I liked the app and I even subscribed to gaana plus, before that was able to modify my playlist up and down. But now if I have to remove the songs at the beginning of the playlist I should go to the top and delete the below ones. And I am unable to remove the song that is currently playing from the list. If you bring back that feature. It would be good. Thank you
Hi I'd rated this app 4 star, but after the recent experience it's worth only 1 star. My renewal for Gaana Plus was constantly failing via multiple payment methods. Reached out to customer support via email as well as the in app support option. The email support straight away told to use another payment method without reading the email. Their email wasn't even drafted in a professional manner. In-app support couldn't help either. The team is simply not willing to check the underlying issue.
Absolutely disappointed.I don't know what's wrong with this app. Songs are getting unavailable day by day.my playlist had around 300 songs..and gradually it has come down to just around 150 songs.I don't why are you guys removing songs from the app day by day.that's really sad.I had my favourite songs in the playlist and everytime i open I find songs missing from it.Spotify has all of them available but now it's very painful to find each missing song and add it on Spotify playlist. Unexpected 😔
1. Eg if i search song daaru badnaam, i get 10 search results in which the most obvious and famous song is 5th number. The app needs yo suggest the most played and high rated song first. What is the need to display 10 songs by name daaru badnaam which we have never even heard. Same is with every song. 2. On youtube if i enter even a lyric of the song the search is accurate this is not the case with gaana app 3. Many famous songs are not in the app for which again youtube is the solution.
Thank you for returning the "clear-q". I always loved the app, been a user for a long time. But some songs are completely missing.. some edits and mixes you cannot find... if you could include them please do so...
The app is good,i've purchased the pro version and the sound quality is very good but the problem is-its hard to find a song,you have to find deeper and deeper,otherwise you cant get it.Otherwise its a good music app...❤
UI improved a lot. Aah.. but functionality needs to be improved too. Sometimes I want a song to add in the queue but no option. Long pressing does nothing and tapping immediately plays the song.
Love this app. Almost all songs of every language is here. Although some old Hindi songs and albums are missing. The lyrics of some songs are wrong too. But overall excellent app. Too good. Fantastic experience 👍👍👍. I will stick to Gaana if you remove the very annoying ads and i dont know why but the app starts playing undesired songs even if it is not on the queue. Please correct the problem.
There's lot of songs which don't have lyrics available and which have already but that doesn't match with songs. I'm a plus member so i want this to fix asap. EDIT:Also lots of artists and songs aren't available there that i love to hear them.. Edit : The worst thing I've faced with this app is if you uninstall the app, all your downloaded, saved, and liked songs will be removed automatically.. And it happens to me three times that's why i prefer to use Spotify over Gaana.. Plzz the issue ASAP.
No hotshots now so increasing it from 2 to 4. There are some technical glitches but overall is a good app. Unlike other apps, it plays the song that you want to hear even on free tier. I love listening to the radio.
The app is closing automatically. I can say it's crashing. But, when I play music and lock the screen, it's closing automatically. And sometimes the song will be stop in the middle and be skipped to next song. This is ruining my experience and is really frustrating. This force me to switch to another music streaming app.
