Great shows!!! it's just the app itself is terrible across all platforms!!! be it on Chromecast, Amazon fire TV or even the android app.. slow, freezes, crashes and very slow buffering sometimes regardless of connection. Browser works fine but I'd rather watch on tv tbh.. Too frustrating to continue paying the sub. Shame cause the shows are brilliant. (Edit: an actual dedicated android app might be an idea, instead of copying a certain pre-written open source code off of a certain website)

Enjoy the content of this app. However, when I leave the house having listened on WiFi, the app stops playing and when it links to data it starts playing two lots of the programme I am watching. I can only stop one playback by pressing the pause button. It then continues to play until I remove the app and reinstall. This happens daily now. Very frustrating 😕.

Love the content but my only complaint is the usage on battery!! In the settings, when I have this app open it uses 75% of my battery!! If I dont have my phone plugged in I cant watch a video for more than an hour and a half. Its ridiculous, even for a streaming app. YouTube only uses 18% of my battery for a comparison. I won't delete the app because the content is amazing but this needs to be fixed, ESPECIALLY since we have to pay a monthly subscription fee. There's no excuses for that.

I love the programming content. Enjoying all the programs. So much information and interesting content. Learning new things and from different perspectives. I am having trouble with the interface. I find that it has various bugs. Many times the video shuts off or freezes. Sometimes the audio and video are not synchronized. The major problem though is the fact that I can't really use the material I download unless I have internet which kind of defeats the purpose.

Content is amazing! Like others mentioned the draining of battery is enormous and my phone gets really hot when streaming... The 'offline playlist' is not available when I'm offline! Even when i am inside the app, watching my DOWNLOADED episode and the internet turns out, it stops playing! Please do something about this!

Terrible UX. The player does NOT work in full screen, which is terrible for a mobile app meant for viewing content. It is not possible to choose CC settings on the phone. And when streaming to Chromecast, it is not possible to pause the playback, see accurate playback progress or change CC settings. Overall really disappointed with this app. Please Gaia team, this needs to be improved and all UX and functionality issues corrected. FYI I do software QA focused on mobile for a living.

The issue no. 1 is a phone gets HOT while watching a video. Not using this on my phone! UI is beautiful, but UX has many things to improve.... especially content accessibility. It's unclear where the content gets saved for later or how a show subscription does anything. The list of each watched individual video makes other other contexts less accessible too.

Love the meditation and self healing parts. But i will be in the middle of a hypnosis and meditation and the app will stop and say to check my connection, when everything else is running fine. Big disappointment in that. But the app will be a great one once they fix the bugs of constantly stopping for no reason whatsoever. I would give Gaia 5 stars if it wasnt for all of the stopping...

This app is awful. It cuts off randomly and jumps to other videos or just shuts down period. I've tried on two different devices with the same results. Thank goodness for the trial because I'd be livid if I were paying for this.

I love the content but the app causes a really bad overheating problem and my phone says it's overheating my battery (to be more specific) and crashes. This NEEDS fixed. I would pay for a working app but not one that is causing overheating as it creates too much risk to my phone.

The app will cause your phone to overheat. I can't have the app open with an S21 Ultra for more than 5 mins before my phone overheats. No other app has ever done this and I am certain I will never ever use this app again. The software developers should never have a job building apps ever again. I wonder if maybe they tried to learn how to program from carvings on the walls of pyramids?...

A great diverse amount of material to really spark your curiosity. Some notable speakers, which adds to the credibility piece. Learned a lot so far, and can always find something to pique my interest. Perfect for anyone interested in modern science.

There is so much really good content! It's intelligent, so interesting, and fascinating and I find that watching it uplifts and motivates me. It helps me to maintain my awareness and consciousness in every breath I take. It is a wealth of knowledge that is priceless! Don't hesitate to subscribe! The app is very good and I never have any problems. I highly recommend it!

10/21 The app started making my S21 so hot, and it is the only app that does it. The phone gets hot even after 5 minutes of watching, this is happening to other users as well. Can you please fix this? I can't even finish watching 1 full video because the phone is burning! I like the content, I have been a subscriber for at least 4 years. The app needs a bit of improvement but it works, they have fixed many of the previous glitches. 03/12/22 - phone still gets extremely hot while using app

Love this app. Unfortunately I can't really use it. Watched 30 minutes of a video and it drained 55% of my battery and got so hot I was nervous my phone was going to be fried. I can watch 4 hours of Netflix on a 40% charge. What is the deal with this app??? I hope there is an update, otherwise I need a refund. I'm not sacrificing my phone +$140/yr. For a glitchy app. Too bad because the content is amazing. Offline does not work AT ALL. As soon as I download an episode I get errors trying to play

Enjoying the content of this channel. I was a bit annoyed that I could not find a number to call customer service due to my subscription through roku was not resgerstering even though payment was taken out a week prior. Had to email back and forth for a week. Service was restored even though they said was not sure if it will happen again next month. I love this channel however not being able to call to have this taken care of in a timely manner I give it 3 stars.

I am a huge fan of all the content that's on here. But my S21 gets so damn hot the phone literally won't let me open any apps till it cools down. Iv tried turning my processing speed down, battery management tweaks etc. Nothing seems to fix this over heating issue.★ Will change rating once overheating problem is addressed.★

Love the app and the unique programming. I really love that I can gift my like-minded friends with links of their favorite personalities!!! It's such a cool thing to be able to do!!! Also you can get front row seats at the Gaia Sphere events if you get the upgraded version. It's a very reasonable cost if you do the math. The only problem is when I watch Gaia, my phone overheats. Can something be done about this?

Just having my spiritual awakening after 20ys of being stuck depression anger guilt prettymuch every negative feeling one can have. Even suicidal. I have been yearly subscriber. A pity Gaia doesn't offer better paid plan or any discounts for specific demographics like others apps do it. Actually I renew for one year for another documentary app for the cost of 2 months of Gaia. As well after reading some recent reviews about your app making some phone hot and draining batteries I'm reluctant to keep this app in my phone. Please improve both services.

Every episode has credible experts with vast knowledge, undeniable evidence, and thorough research that caused me to really question what I thought I believed to be the reality of things. You'll definitely want to purchase the subscription once the free trial ends.

Need internet to watch downloaded videos? I downloaded several shows to watch on my flight. They were all there. On board in airplane mode and could see x# videos downloaded. Clicked on it and Gaia logo spun and spun. Landed and turned internet back on and it went straight to downloaded videos no problem. Defeats the purpose.

Downloaded videos won't even open when I am out of service, which is important to me for my yoga practice, and being that my lifestyle puts me out of service for long periods of time, I really wish the downloaded videos would actually open. Otherwise the site and options are great.

I love this app. It offers a wide range of reluable videos on my fav contents. It's easy to navigate and l also love the option to download and create my playlist to watch anytime when on data connection.

I really love all of the options of amazing information on Gaia but I have a problem with the app itself. It needs some work. It pauses or just flat out stops for no reason. Even if it's downloaded, it will stop. Please try to fix this. It's unfortunate, because we do pay a lot of money for this service and I just wish I could be able to use it more on my phone. I am impressed with the level of content. It has been a great experience overall and a awesome journey towards my healing process. I have learnt a large amount in a short amount of time, that I will take with me forever. Definitely the app for self-development.

This app is just garbage. So just to start I had this app 2 years ago and even then it was plagued with the same problems that it has now. Downloading shows, should be a pretty straightforward process, it isn't. It won't play the downloaded show. I know this because if I turn off wifi or drive into a no service area it says I'm offline and won't let me view the video, but will play the audio in the background. Wish I could write more but the play store limits you. Would not recommend app.

Great content but the app is very poor! Can't watch downloaded content as always says 'error offline unable to connect to server'. What's the point in a download option if shows can only be watched using data? And yes I've sent an email and as advised I have uninstalled then reinstalled, but still the same issue. I always do the updates yet still this has not been fixed. Developers please fix this issue or simply remove the download option.
