A building and resource management game played on a hexagonal grid. The game system is very simple and you can use the same strategy almost on every level. As you progress further in the game, you start to spend way more time waiting than building, because exploration and buildings get progressively more expensive. Every level is the same, only with different goals and bonuses and there is no story, so it eventually stops being fun. Also, has issues when offline, which is a problem for me.

Good game, but a few problems: First, all the planets you have to colonize start easy with the same low pass requirements, but then come Section 8 and the requirements take a big jump up suddenly. Second, I wish the buildings could be upgraded using resources like Construction Material instead of the special Upgrade Kits. Third, and this must be a bug: even when you don't have workers assigned to a Factory or Robotics Center, the building still takes and consumes resources, but there is no output, and then it continues to take more resources again as though it had actually produced something useful… 🤦🏼‍♀️ Fourth, everything gets expensive fast. I understand the need to keep the prices rising, but the rate of increase needs to slow down as you build out each colony further. Currently, you start expanding fast, but then construction slows as you save for what you want, but then later you're stuck sitting for hours waiting to get the money to build just one building… Could use a little rebalancing here. Fifth, another bug: I used three Upgrade Kits to double the capacities of three of my warehouses, but then the app stalled so I had to close and reopen it. That's when I see my game wasn't saved with the upgraded warehouses, but the game did save that I used the Upgrade Kits (thereby using them on nothing, to no benefit)!

This game is great. However, there are three things that I think could easily it better. First off, is having reasearch give you XP. Second is having left over money and resources from your colony give you XP. For instance, every 750 times your level money gives 1 XP. Finally, I would like to be able to see the entire leader board, not just people close to me. Thanks for making a great game! Keep up the great work.

Would be 5, but... I really enjoyed the game (kinda turned off it rn). You can put it down and pick it back up. Choose to watch ads for bonuses. My only problem is a glitch that has REALLY bugged me. I had been saving up to buy a ship. Got it. Then, instead of using what I had saved up the game gave me a negative amount. Now, not only do I have to save up again, but I have cover the negative amount. I'll be watching ads for the next 2 months :/ . I've contacted them and still no response.

Good City builder game. Small scenarios with different (but not enough) tasks to complete. The main issue is that there is no "challenge". If you plan on the wrong way, you just have to way more time to gather the resources to complete the task. This way it's more a time waster than a game. It has good potential to become an interesting "puzzle" like game, but it fails.

Must admit, this game surprised me, it's quite satisfying to complete each "level" and move onto the next. It can get a little repetitive, however changing the missions seems to keep things from becoming too boring. Personally, I think the cost of getting new ships and skins is too much. Please keep up the good work, would love to see some new content. Overall I rate this game 8/10

Not a bad little game. Pretty addicting. Worth playing. When played "correctly" becomes a huge ad. Watch ads for various bonuses. There is a one try glitch though. If the ad doesn't work, you lose the chance for a reward for an hour (or six). You are never forced to watch ads, but the game is much easier if you do. Finally, the ads are extremely varied, everything from single page game ads, to six minute Prager U videos! Enjoy.

Surprise addiction! Just finished first 75 levels (yes 75), probably 30 - 40 hrs of gameplay Admittedly, i subject myself to a lot of ads to accelerate the game, its really because I'm into it and would rather watch a 30 second spot (and keep playing) than close the game and come back in 20 or 30 minutes. This is unusual for me, like all of us, i hate the ads, but this gives me a choice, and its way less ad time than a stupid sitcom on tv! Ill update this review as i progress in the...Not..

Not a bad little time waster. A few requests though. 1/ need to be able to demolish a building. Sometimes you hit the wrong button, sometimes you need to adjust as colony grows. 2/ need an auto-sell option on warehouses to sell off the goods you produce. Only storing 50/100 units makes it pointless, better off just investing. 3/ exponential price increases for exploring/building makes no sense, why does it cost more to build the same thing a second time? If it must, not by so much.

At level 10, I feel like I've played enough to say I like it plenty. However, it has the option to watch ads for perks, including more energy cells, but when I finish the ad, there's an animation showing my cells incrementing by five, then reverts to the number from before the ad. I've watched 4 ads and should have 20 more cells, but I don't. Other ad perks seem to work fine, though I haven't actually counted the level-finished ad perks to be sure.

Enjoying the game so far. Currently at level 5 in Hawker Ursa. Only real complaint so far is that many of the missions are repetative. 4 hydroponics... 200 colonists... producing computer parts... having to restart so much means that I'm doing the exact same thing over and over. While not necessarily boring for the first few times, I think the repetition is going to get old especially when the goals are so slow to develop into something more interesting.

I enjoyed the game at first. It was fun to build a colony. Then you start to realize that each colony is thrown away after you complete the objective. I also read that the developer purposefully made building big colonies expensive because it affects game performance on some devices. I believe that is why games usually have buildings upgrade without expendable items. This allows the colony to perform better without being too big. In the end the game was just too repetitive and pointless.

On balance, this game I would rate outstanding. I have my gripes (below) but they're later game issues I guess. This is a game you can actually play for free, those that say you can't lack patience. It takes some research and skill points before you start really being able to get into the stride of things. About the only thing you can't do without money, or very large amounts of patience and grinding, is get anything higher than the Tier 2 Ship. It is notable that the existence Skill Points are not well explained. I barely knew about them until I started exploring the menus. The power of them also isn't obvious at first (or some of them anyway). As you start to see the effects of skill points and research, you understand what's important. That's a gameplay aspect in itself. The main issue I have with this game is longevity. Once you unlock all the buildings, every colony follows a similar formula. I started finding this once I got to about level 45 or so. The issue here is, skill points isn't a tangible enough accumulative reward. It doesn't feel like you're working towards much. There's no Home Base or something for your worlds to enrich. It seems a lot like there's a tradeoff, favouring the early game at the expense of the late game. That's sort of OK though perhaps. I have already put many hours into this game, and I have enjoyed the process of optimisation that has developed through it. It's just, I haven't reached the point of any skill mastery levels (I think I'm at level 58 or so?) but I can't really see the point of going for it. With this, you might ask, why'd I still rate it 5 stars? Well, for the time that there is still content, it's outstanding. It is a good balance of accumulation and still applying optimisation. Also Desalination plants are useless. By the time I got them, I'd already maxed my lake skill, and it really raises the question of, why bother? Even if you put an epic upgrade kit on it, and make it +100%, there's enough lakes around at +85% and pairs of lakes occur adjacent enough to each other often enough that you're better off lining those up, rather than building desal plants.

It was a fun game but it got repetitive after a few days. Once you figure out the basic concepts the missions are easy. I think it is pointless to update your ship because, yes you can have 2 colonies at once but you can't jump between them unless your ship moves to the other one. Overall it was a nice little game with potential but should have something like events on the planet to change in up a bit and add a challenge once in a while.

Simple, easy to learn, and the ads/microtransactions are the least intrusive out of any free game I've ever seen. Not much here in terms of gameplay, it's a resource management game above all else, but it is very relaxing. Low-stress, low-stakes. My only complaint is that there isn't one central colony that you're allowed to let loose on and just keep expanding endlessly, every planet is just a different task to complete before moving on to the next.

So far I love this game. The only annoying thing is that the upgrades on buildings only last for a single planet. They don't have to last for the entire game but if they just lasted for the duration of a sector (ie. An upgrade applies to all of that building built in a sector) that would be great. Longer campaigns would be fun as well. Just when I get attached to a planet I finish the mission. Also I'm curious - how many planets are there?

Ads are not thrown in your face, a truly refreshing change. You control when you want them but can easily play without. Would love the ability to go back to previous worlds and see how much bigger and better I could do. Or at least some reason to go further beyond the initial goals, maybe some stretch goals giving a big reward. Worth the download.

It's pretty good. My biggest complaint is the constant need for internet. I don't really care how I place against others. I just want to play the game. Also, there are definitely some missing elements. The ability to replay a scenario to build up XP would really help. Being able to connect a factory to more than one warehouse would be nice too. Lastly, auto selling should be implemented into the game.

Joe. P. I. Nov 25, 2019

Really nothing to complain about. Fun, reasonable amount of ads, unnecessary but useful paid items. Good graphics, gameplay, quality settings to save battery. If anything early part is a bit of a grind, but they can be in games like this, where the level objectives are procedurally increased rather than thought out. Just a chance to save up resources for when it starts to get unreasonably hard as I'm sure it inevitably will.

No transportation of any sort exist in this "resource management" game, stuff just magically teleport between buildings, warehousea hold only one type of resource and that's about all you get to "manage". That and the number of workers in some of the buildings. "Planets" you colonize don't seem to interact with each other, they act as stages you need to complete to start from scratch on the next one. The graphics are very nice but that's not what I'm looking for in a resource managment game =/

I like this game. But there is no guide to assist you with your progression. Are you supposed to build a system of inter-supporting colonies or just complete each planet as a stand alone? Do you gain additional experience for exceeding the mission goals? And other such questions. Have spent real money in the game, and most likely will be spending more because I do like this game. Just wish there were more of a help of guide to allow for better use of resources as you move through the universe!

For some odd reason my game likes to freeze every other frame? It isn't a laggy game btw. Ex: The game menu screen will go into focus and freeze up halfway and the buttons non-functioning. I imagine this would be a great game for me, but I can't seem to get it to play! I'll remove the 1-Star rating if I manage to get to play it! Galaxy S10+

Nice idea, the gameplay is relatively fun, and the ads aren't intrusive. But it'd be more fun if the colonization quests were more... Involved I guess? I complete most planets without having explored much, and the build/exploration costs rise too quickly midway through. It'd also be nice to get some kind of continuous reward for completing planets.

***Huge issue first!*** While not playing, if you get the notification that your research is completed, DON'T CLICK ON THE NOTIFICATION TO OPEN THE APP! There is a decent chance that it will reset your timer. It's not a problem with the 5 min goals, but when it takes 12 hours+ to finish and that gets reset it's frustrating. Just click the icon. I really enjoy the game after I realized that you don't fully colonize every planet; just finish your goals and move on. I enjoy the relaxing gameplay.

It couldn't motivate me to play more than two planets. It's nicely made, well polished but so tedious. Every building you want to add needs two more buildings to have enough workers. So for each new building you need to uncover 3 tiles on the map, which gets expensive pretty fast. Each resource need their own warehouse and you need to connect them manually. That's neither fun nor challenging, just more unnecessary effort.

It's a good game as long as you realize that you're not going to be shooting stuff or having a conquest. It's a relaxing planet colonization game where each planet is kind of like a small puzzle that you have to solve by building stuff. I feel like this kind of colony building interface would be cool in a game like Stellaris since theirs is a little bland. It almost begs to be part of a larger game, but it's also not bad as a standalone if you just need a low-stress background game.

GC is not quite an "idle" game but plays like one. You must have the app active to acquire resources but must wait in app for resources to collect. It's pretty good considering the simplicity. It can be played offline; absent boosts, rewards and dailies. It is repetitive in gameplay. The only change between maps is skins and goals but so far, challenges haven't been so exhausting to affect gameplay. If you are a Civ fan, worth a look or builder-gamer, try it! I love it. I'm keeping it.
