UI is too big. Used to play GoF 2 and tried to get back to it after a few years. Turns out that the game has inproper UI scaling. Now I can't even access half of the settings because they're out of the unscrollable screen. I'd appreciate a response on how to solve this. I am using a Pixel 4 XL.

So far I've really enjoyed the game. The controls feel unresponsive at times, but that may be intended - I see items in shops that claim to improve ship handling. The free base game has a decent story so far, and the quest system is solid. Sometimes it's frustrating that you can only have one secondary quest active at a time, but it helps keep me focused. There's a part in the story that requires you to have tons of money or you miss an opportunity, but doesn't say it upfront.

i love the concept, style, and smoothness that still has a lot of content! and it plays on my junky smartphone! but the controls for space combat and mining are just very difficult to use! maybe I'm just bad at it though! or maybe i just don't have the right great in the game yet. i don't know. I'll have to keep playing to see if this is a permanent problem. as well as, there is no controls customisation beyond inversion and sensitivity! so shortsighted!

After more extensive playing, I'm still in love with the game, and like real love, there's issues. One major problem is locking on to non-enemy targets. I'm a terrible shot with my primary, so I use secondary often, but can't lock on to the right target. Another thing is targeting a planet instead of the enemy and leaving the battle. That's a big problem when I'm looting ships. Also, it's kinda dumb that doing missions for one faction makes the other my enemy. Makes traveling more difficult.

While I love the game play, the screen size is off just enough to cause problems on the menus. Its tolerable but very annoying. for example, when looking at a side mission you can ask the person how difficult it will be, I didn't know this for my first 20+missions because I cant see that option in the dialogue. I can still select it by clicking on the very very bottom of my screen, dumb luck lead me to find it. If this was fixed the game would be worth putting some money in, real money.

Game seems really cool so far, but is so horrendously bogged down by its clunky controls. Joystick feels like hell to use for combat or just flying in general, it's all over the place, but it's good for mining. Accelerometer is great for flying and combat, but nearly unusable for mining. Switching back and forth constantly is irritating. UI has a lot of room for improvement, I'm constantly pressing the rear camera button when trying to shoot, and the icons don't give a great idea what they do.

This game in its current state is unplayable for high DPI devices as the UI is scaled too large. Many buttons are not available to press and make their way off the screen. Instead of automatically assuming the UI scaling percentage I would suggest that you add a slider to the settings so that we may manually set the scaling. I'll have to find an old APK for the time being. (EDIT: The UI is still scaled improperly)

This app is amazing! I've been looking for a game like this for a long time, and then I found it! This game literally has everything you would expect in a space game and more, along with that, it runs outstandingly well on low-end like my tablet. Though the controls are a little hard (like the joystick is to small), it still works. I recomend GOF 2 to anybody!

Good: Visuals, lots of side missions and planet systems to help make money. Upgrades are nearly limitless, lots of different ships to choose from, and the faction system keeps you on your toes. Bad: Maneuverability. Even after spending in game coin for the top steering nozle available, it's still entirely too unresponsive. Targeting system is also very bad. Can't select targets, sometimes you end up firing on friendly targets, sometimes you randomly target a planet instead of an enemy.

I love this game. it crashed on me a while back and had to reinstall. Lost all my game data, but I've played it so long that I forgot how the beginning was. So I dont mind doing it over, especially since I get the controls better. I wish the company still made games. but they arent developing anymore. So no more updates or support. So you play until it crashes. I made it a few years. You should be good.

My favourite game, hands down on Mobile device ever. I've installed and played the game multiple times, but whenever I get a new phone I come back to the same one. I've checked for other games like it, but I still got no luck finding the same gameplay mechanism and controls. The storyline is awesome, the gameplay is awesome, well everything is. Please please do try, you'll thank me later. And Devs, thanks a lot, awesome job but please come up with the third already, it's been way too long now.

Always my go-to game when I think of what to play, I've beaten the game multiple times but it still entertains me. Only problem I have is I have to tap a bit to the right in order for it to register my control, so when I want to leave a station it always assume I want to buy credits, idk if this is intentional but if it is, that's fked up. And it's only the right side of the controls, the left side works fine. I really hope it's not intentional.

The game is an open world space combat simulator, in the spirit of Wing Commander: Privateer. I have been playing this game for several years, and have completed it several times, but I always come back to it. This is my all-time favorite phone game. Word of warning: I purchased all of the expansion packs on my iPhone, but there seems to be no way to transfer that purchase to my Android phone, and devs have been unresponsive to my inquiries as to the possibilty of restoring them.

This game seems heavily inspired by Elite Dangerous with a little Mass Effect. It plays like both of those games, except severely dumbed down which is to be expected in a mobile game. Not the best game I've ever played, but the controls are great, it looks decent, and it has a cool story despite the terrible voice acting (again, mobile game, to be expected).

It's a good game. However would be nice if there was a throttle so I can slow down or speed up when I wanted to. Overall I like the storyline. I think it's pretty decent cuz I always like space adventure games. Would be even better if you're buying Rockets or missiles that every time your docked at a hanger it would refill that way you can use a certain amount all the time.

This is by far one of the best android games I've ever played, and I've played a lot! What's more its free with no ads. There are optional add ons (dlc) for real money. But you don't ever have to spend anything. It's great fun to trade, mine asteroids, complete missions & make enough money to buy a new ship or upgrade your existing one. This game looks great & plays well, it's awesome!

Very good game, I love playing it. What brings it to my 3 stars is the fact that we can't customise our controls for position or even size. Please fix this and maybe I'll reconsider my rating. Maybe in a few updates, the ships designs can be customized and sizes should be different. Doing this might even make the game recommended globally. Graphics are satisfying and I know they will improve at some point.

Ser. D. Dec 25, 2020

One of my favourite games of all time. There's a lot to do outside of the storyline and the graphics are great. My one problem with the game is the scaling issue where the game doesn't properly fit on my screen. For the most part it's manageable but some features are downright impossible to use. I can't even use the settings properly.

1st off, single player but very addictive & immersing. Tons of combinations of ships & parts, star systems & such. 5 stars is for truly good games imo so take that into consideration. You can mine, do quests, destroy freighters & more. I've played lots of space games & they were just top down pay to win. This gives you full control & a 3rd person angle. I had a blast when I'd saved up to get a new ship or new parts. You've nothing to lose by trying it out.
