Galaxy S4 LED Flashlight

No that's not a reference to The Cars song. It's what this app is. In a world overrun with flashlight naps that need everything including your first born, this app is Tylenol because it just took that headache away. Galaxy S4 Flashlight and it's makers want only one and only thing from you, your camera. This is the first time I've been compiled to rate an app. Much thanks, such wow.

I was looking for a widget that mysteriously vanished from my Samsung G4. This isn't it. Really simple app that I applaud for its clean interface after it's launched but all I want is an app with a widget that will turn the flashlight on or off without launching another app that needs to be exited. This app fell short of expectations but only slightly..

I love this flashlight app its super bright and basic. If you need light push the button. All the other apps need all kinda access to things that's none of their f**kin business where as this one doesn't. Good job... Now stop asking me to rate this app every time I open it.

Great app. Love the one click open and on. Only thing is after light is on for over 3 minutes(indoors mind you) the phone goes into thermal protection mode. Had this happen several times. I'm sure it's just due to the drain on battery and heat from the LED but it's an issue you should be aware of. Other than that it works great.

In my opinion, the only thing this app doesn't do that I wish this simple app would do is for me to be able to turn my screen off while the flashlight would stay on...if that were able to be achieved, I would have rated this app a 5. Besides that, the light is an easy on/off option and the light is very strong/bright. Thanks!

Bright, AD'S are there but really not bothersome in ne way, only problem I'm having is with it either closing unexpectedly or when I touch the short cut on my home screen sumtimes the flashlight will load up without any actual lite! Those 2 problems however seem 2 be occurring a minimal amount of times. all in all its good.

I like it...but it turn off on its own sometimes and thats very inconvinient. And maybe i havent found the settings yet, but i would like a lockscreen button too so that i dont have open my fone each time.

I've been downloading the wrong app. This flashlight is amazing. I love how it's so bright as I always sleep in the dark and when I need a flashlight I go start to this. It works wonders. I also like that it doesn't ask to take control over other stuff on your phone it just does what it's meant to do and that's BE A FLASHLIGHT.

Unlike other flashlight apps this one is basic and all you need, no flashy lights, no police light flashing, no extra bull to take up the space on your phone. It starts up in less than a secone, the last app took 8 seconds to startup, way too long.

To many light apps offer different bells and whistles. This app gives you just what you want, a light. Easy to find off switch so you're not wasting precious battery power. Well done. Samsung S4

So far I have tried about 7 different flashlight apps and didn't like any of them. They either came with stuff I didn't want or were just to cumbersome to use. This however is just perfect, well almost. The app is great apart from that on off sound (yes I know, you can turn it off but still) Other than the app name I would give this 5 starts. If you dropped those ANNOYING ads and charged a small fee this would be 10 stars. ADS SHOULD BE BANNED.

Sometimes I just want a flashlight. No disco light show, no flashing lights and sirens. Just a flashlight. Sure other stuff can have it's place. In my life.... not. No one I know will ever believe I said something about simplicity lol.

Best cell phone flashlight I have ever had. Quick & easy to use. Super bright. I love the light Saber sound effect.

This plain and simple is not a "flashlight app"...It is a flashlight! Download it, put it one your home screen, tap the button and you have a flashlight! No extra mess in the way or adjustments needed. By the way to these other apps....Who uses a flashlight and says oh yeah let me just dim that down a bit?? Maybe I'm missing something I guess. Bottom line ______#This is better than a real flashlight and most definitely better than any other flashlight I have ever downloaded.

This is the quickest starting flashlight app so far. Did not have to give a lot of permissions to install. What more could you want.

Extremely bright! Not sure why there is a separate flashlight for the S4 and the S5 when they both work the same on my phone. I do prefer the opening sound of the S5 flaslight 😄 much better than the S4 flashlight (S4 sounds horrible, ugh!😯).. so I'm gonna reinstall the S5 flashlight for my S4 mobile then I'm gonna give 5 stars for the S5!😄😊 (My original preinstalled Samsung torch/flashlight vanished one day for no reason maybe after an automatic update, I hate auto updates!😬)

I'm a 41 year old server and this flashlight is the BEST!! I use it when cleaning my tables so I can see underneath the booths to ensure they're clean. I've downloaded SEVERAL different ones over the past month and this one is by far the best!!! I've deleted all the others. THIS flashlight is simple and easy to use!! AND the function I like the most is it STAYS ON UNTIL YOU TURN IT OFF!!! THANK YOU for this simple, easy to use flashlight!!!

I just rated it when it prompted in the app and it said thanks and the rating was not added. Almost like the app was mirroring the play thing. Also doesn't work.

It works exactly like a flashlight should. On and Off. No complexity and no B.S. I love it. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Thanks for keeping it simple and true.

I wish I had found this in the first place instead of the other one I was using. This is instant on instant off uses little to no resources doesn't hog memory and is absolutely great. Love it.

This app is great! I got rid of the one I had because it took time to open it up and then it would shut off a few minutes later leaving me in the dark. This one activates quicker and stays on. Thanks for the app...loving it.

It is a light. Not too bright and drains your battery super fast. If I use it I try to make it quick as possible.

Im only giving this app 4 stars because of its strobe effect, if it wasnt for that i would've given it a worse rating.

Turning the flashlight on, I love the noise. I like how it is rather bright and if you wanna flashlight that sounds cool and is pretty bright, this app is for you. Trust me, I love it and this app won't let you down.☺

Love it! Power went out in our city while we were in a restaurant, we used ur flashlight and it was great! Also kept using it two hours later when we got home until power resumed back. A real must-have. Very useful and bright. Thanks!

Best I've seen available. Really bright but turns itself off if if gets hot.

It would be better if it could be re-named to something of my choosing. For instance I would get rid of the G4 bit & simply call it light

Who is looking at the banner ads when using this. That and it doesn't want access to my GPS and contacts...which is nice in a flashlight.
