Make sure location is turned on to get this app to work. Was having trouble getting another app to work, while trouble shooting that I came across a fix another user found : Turn on your location. Just like that this app and the other work just fine. If you're like me and have location off all the time, turning it on would never have crossed my mind.

Takes multiple tries to connect via Bluetooth. Unless you are connected you cannot see or adjust settings. The older version was more reliable than the Jan 2019 update. I hope someone from Galcon reads this and makes improvements. Next year I'll be looking for a different timer. I love the Bluetooth option, but it's not working smoothly.

Absolutely gobsmacked! I want one for the courtyard NOW! Bluetooth is better than the tooth fairy! So easy. User friendly. Programmed in less than a minute. No fussing around, scratching one's head. Yelling at it because it cannot read your mind. Just magic. Now all i need is a device that programs my husband to install it!

The app does not see the galcon 7101BT controller despite numerous attempts and a new battery even when they are right next to each other. The Galcon web site does not offer any suggestions for what to do. It works sometimes with my wife's phone, but never with mine. Location services must be enabled on your phone and GPS must be on. You also have to give the app location permission. Range is about 5-7 feet max. If the BT7101 display is not on, it also won't respond to Bluetooth. (Press the manual button on the controller before trying to pair or program.)

Never connects on the first try. Sometimes takes 5 minutes of retrying to connect, even if it says it connected. Sometimes not at all. Israel is known for water management systems and security systems. I hope the security systems developers are mor successful.

1. I don't like the fact that it force me to allow access to location, otherwise the app won't work and synchronize with the controller. This is a home bluetooth controller and there's no use to location unless the company is using it for some other purpose. 2. If you don't mind that, the app is very easy to install and to use.

Useless, doesn't correspond with the controller, tried multiple times. Has ii mind of its own, waisted so much water as it starts whenever it wants. Developers of this app shouldn't touch the old app. Very disappointed.

Hi This app never connect to the unit, it takes up to 10+ attemps before connecting if it does connect... Alsowith the new upgrade we hqve lost the capabilty to program daily splits which is dissapointing Please advise feed back as to when these issues will be rectified Thanks

Disappointed, pairing is cumbersome, manage to pair only after uninstalling/installing the app.When trying to pair again you get no pin. The app forces you to enable location, why? .Instead of making things easier it makes it harder.My advice,use the good old panel.

Solution to whoever can't connect: you have to have gps turned on in your phone only then scan for the galcon in your app(of course bluetooth on too). After that if yor galcon screen is off you cant see yhe code so click the mode button to see it. After pairing you think you can just click the device picture in the app and get the settings page, but no! You have to try that about 15 times until it works! Galcon has a name for reliable controlers but it seems it used a crappy app writing company!

Easy to use, works flawlessly. One suggestion: this app is used in bright sunlight do make the font bold and with high contrast.

Downloaded the latest APP and is Absolutely Brilliant! Works like a charm and the APP is easy to program. The other great thing is the 25mm Solenoid Valve used allows FULL Flow, unlike other brands that reduce the flow. Could not recommend this more highly.

ver poor, was completely unable to pair timer with my Samsung S5. In scanning mode I wasn't able to see timer unless it was right next to phone. I unstalled it and gone back to lifting covers.

It's great as long as your right next to the device. The Bluetooth distance isn't great. But good for basics

This app simply doesn't talk with your Bluetooth! I see the device in my Bluetooth available devices but not in this app!!! Extremely frustrating 😤 Please fix ASAP!!!

Useless. They've had more than 4 years to fix this app and still it won't do it's job, but they still market the product as one "with bt control".

needs more to be done. bt connectivity is very low, time update from device to controller are some that need attention.

Loved the new UI! Now supports setting and checking programs while offline, which is very handy!

I have replaced the battery and reinstalled the app and it still won't connect. It did occasionally before, but i don't know what changed.

It doesn't work. App crashes immediately every time I open it. Worthless.

Doesn't connect to my Galcon sprinkler system at all. Even after I replaced battery. Last version worked fine for a year!

Totally useless app...can't pair my phone with my controller, no matter how many times I've tried.

Does not work. Bluetooth enabled but cant find device. Device does not display 4 PIN code at all.

Old app worked, v 1.4 doesn't open at all. Please go back to the previous version.

This app does not work with Pixel 3. Installed and works fine on my iPad, but that's a different app store 😉

The app does not see my 11000BT controller. It works flawlessly on Apple though.

10 new controllers with new batteries but ZERO found using Bluetooth scanner. Not happy!!

Terrible at connecting, won't connect and range is about 5 feet tops.
