Galimulator

Galimulator simulates the wars, revolutions, politics, research and various other bizarre events in a randomly generated galaxy. Watch as space empires endure epic struggles for power. You decide if you want to:

• Watch in Observer mode
• Play around freely in Sandbox mode
• Take control in Emperor mode

Empires will:
• Wage war to conquer more stars
• Build ships to fight and do other strange things
• Encounter strange space monsters
• Venture out on intergalactic quests
• Research new technology
• Switch politics between expansion, fortification and more
• Build powerful (or useless) artifacts in space
• Transcend to unimaginable hyperbliss

Ultimately they will go away, crushed by a stronger race, victims of internal strife, eaten by space monsters, or some other fate. But new ones will take their place. It's the hypercircle of interstellar life in space.

In Emperor mode, you can control your own empire by using your Flagship to boost expansion and defense, build and control your ships, and manage your Spy network.

In Sandbox mode, you have full freedom to do pretty much what you want. Make empires degenerate, throw meteors at them, etc.

Or you can just observe, like an aquarium, except with interstellar space empires instead of fish.

I've played this game since it's early days on mobile, back when they only had the random galaxies and a few ships, and I have loved it since the beginning. I love all the extra content y'all have added, and have enjoyed it even more since it's been put it. I did want to bring up a glitch that I've noticed happening. Sometimes when ships come back from quests, they'll get stuck on the edge of the map, and sometimes you can't get them to resume normally after directing them to a star.

Great! However, with the recent update gave been some problems. For example, despite having paid for removal of ads in the past, I have ads again and everything is once again locked. Additionally, something weird has happened with the menu options in Sandbox mode. One cannot move the camera while, say, the Modify Star menu is out. Speaking of that menu, there's a weird bug where the initial star selection is not anywhere near your finger and in fact can sometimes be off screen, which is dumb.

Personally I find this game really appealing, loving maps like I do. The HUD is a little cluddered, but each update makes it a bit prettier. Something I'd like to see are more buttons off to the left of the screen to decrease the amount of things onscreen at one time, and would open up more room for options, such as a fleet costumization log or a more in depth government system. Things to keep the game both pretty and interesting. Great game so far :)

I've first started playing two years ago, it was a pleasant experience and I indeed miss this game. For some reason, my tablet has a black bar appearing at the top of the screen when I launch this game now, and the GUIs are being pushed down due to it. I cannot even enable sandbox and do some other things also. I ask of you to hopefully fix this black bar as I cannot remove it so I can play once more, this game has surely been fun and you've done well on it.

Great concept but the tutorial was bugged so I couldn't progress further than step four. This meant it was a nightmare trying to understand what each component did. Additionally it doesn't play well on mobile devices as menus fall off the screen and buttons are too small to hit accurately. Worth a download to see if it works on your own device though.

The interface get in the way of action and probably should hide sometimes like when using sandbox. When i try create an empire, the interface stay and i have close it but then it undoes. I know that not the right way but it's shows the confusion that could easily happen. One should be able in click the icon to close the window as well as open. Also, i don't understand the ships, it kinda unclear. I still enjoy seeing the empire grow and fall hence 4 stars but the visual have some work to do

I paid to have the ads removed. It took a while but the ads finally disappeared. This is such a cool game and easily draws you in with the stories it can create. Some cool things it could use is more options for time control, output of in game text like histories and dynasties etc. I'll be getting the steam version too. Cheers!

Negatives: - somewhat clunky menu navigation (probably because it's ported from pc) - lack of some details in unexplained mechanics - relatively limited tactical controls Positives: - does diplomacy, dynastys, rebellions and grand-strategy really well. - multiple game modes - wast ways to customize the map. ... Conclusion: in my opinion, this is one of, if not, the best galaxy-wide-grand-conquest games out there on phones. The positives outweigh the negatives. Quite good immersion.

Very enjoyable game, though I do wish that all of the government types are available when I create a new empire. As it stands right now, the government types are all arranged in alphabetical order, which is helpful, but I am unable to scroll down past Q which is Quorom and see the rest of the government types. I would greatly appreciate it if this issue is fixed soon.

I love just about everything about this game. Aside from the PC menus and few bugs (Which every game has by the way) it's really amazing. I feel like there should be another type of game just like this but set in like, medieval times of earth where empires fight it out like that. Would definitely play that one as well if it became a thing. 5 stars, keep up the good work.

The idea here is really very good, I've been playing a galaxy now for 2100 some millennium, and I really enjoy going through the history of the games empires. I will say that the UI needs some tweaking, perhaps when placing ships, artifacts, empires, ect... on the playing field, instead of tapping the stars perfectly, the star region + star would suffice. But for a independently developed game I can understand that it wont look 100% professional, which is okay.

Great game for those who like to use their imagination. Definitely not the most high-tech game ever, but there is SO much you can do. I love to watch empires rise and fall with time. It's well worth the dollar or so to get rid of ads, although they almost never show up. I just think the devs deserve the support. Anyway it's amazing guys if you like to toy around with imaginative worlds (or galaxies) get it!

It is a very calming game. Controlling is a bit stretched out, until the orders are rolled out in your massive empire, it takes a long time. Watching how they slaughter eachother is more fun, constant struggling and rebelling. Sandbox mode is a sandbox, you need to unlock most things outside that mode altough. Better tutorils would be good.

SOOOO good. Time consuming and addictive but I want you to know that when you give plot armor to anyone, if he reaches 300k or more point/money you can not see his status by clicking on the name. And says cant generate blah blah resolution and also says to inform you thw bug.Thats all.

This game I enjoy more when watching than playing, you can make some crazy scenarios (star wars and Lord of the Rings is but one example) as you have space maps but earth maps aswel. This is a good game if you're bored and want to watch how the Ai goes about trying to secure the galaxy. They've added all kinds of crazy events and features (like rebellions or dynasties) These are but few examples So this one I easily give a 5 out of 5

Just an awesome little simulator. I could probably spend hours playing around with it if I had the time. At first it might be confusing, but once you get a grip on whats happening its actually pretty cool. There is a great webpage explaining everything about the game if you dont want to do trial and error. I highly recommend checking it out.

Confusing to get into and not much to actually play but its fun to watch star nations develop.

Nat. S. Dec 17, 2019

Very interesting and great game. Extremely nice to be able to watch nations come and go. I realize that so many people are asking for multiplayer, and I know you aren't planning on adding it at all, but even a way to just watch the same scenario play out together would be cool.

New update is great! But one problem is the infinity scroll, I can't reach the bottom of lists because it auto-places me to the top, making it impossible to reach the bottom, please fix.

Arc. T. Nov 28, 2018

Brilliant game, I love it and spend literal hours on it, however, the pause after loading option does not always work and continually seems to ruin my save files since I can't go back and edit a map before restarting the game. Fix this feature to get 5 stars

PLEASE GET RID OF ANNOYING WHITE BAR ACROSS TOP OF SCREEN. I paid to stop ads but there's this white bar across the top of my screen that squishes everything down. Fullscreen doesn't fix it. This is one of my favorite games, and I'm very picky. It figures something would screw it up.

Noa. W. Jun 26, 2019

love the game, Bug 1. I'm experiencing an issue where I can't unlock anything else via ads on generating a new galaxy. I've previously unlocked plague and the last three ad watches have been for the plague unlock, and seems to still be the same way for the next ad watch. Bug 2. in emperor mode, using alliance veiw, I can remove others from their own alliances spent way too many hours watching dynasties and rulers rise and fall.

I love this game. But I wish the family's had a bigger impact in the world and you could play with them a bit more.

A. G. u. Jan 19, 2019

It's super good, but there is something that infuriates me. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but when in the Earth galaxy type, the territory count as stars. I think it would be better if they would be replaced with cities or villages when in the Earth galaxy type or countries. Other than that, super cool game! 👍

Sha. W. Jan 5, 2021

It's gotten better but the combat could use some revisiting. Most times I see a battle it's long. Frigates flinging missiles everywhere at enemy ships, when they hit they for unknown reasons dont deal damage. The ground combat on planets should be covered more.

Back in the good old days I still had very fond memories of playing this back then and yet even after a while, I still end up coming back. This game truly explores the world of sandbox through space. Having been playing as God you decided what to do. Its truly one of the games where you can actually do what you want. Even If it still haven't updated in a while it's still one of the best games in my heart.

coo. s. Jul 4, 2019

Really fun to play, graphics are good, but all of my saves got wiped and reset to a default stretched spiral shape. I have no idea if this has to do with the update or not, but it upsets me. Please fix this

Ran. H. Jul 6, 2020

Great game, allows a lot of flexibility in what you create or do. No other game is like this and is the only free space game that's really good. However I do wish you could make one or two custom positions and religions for your own government. Great game!

Pey. B. J. Jul 7, 2021

Great concept, however, it keeps crashing not even five minutes into every game. Not sure if it's my phone your your app, but it is annoying nonetheless. I really enjoy playing when it lets me.
