Paid for ad free but it still shows ads. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still doesn't work. 5 stars when fixed
New save feature is absolute garbage. What was wrong with just hitting the download button and saving everything in it's own folder? Why the need to make a simple save feature so convoluted and difficult to use? Meanwhile, they still haven't fixed the issue with displaying galleries, and they still haven't fixed the sort options that don't work. They made one of the good features worse and didn't bother to fix the problems that people have been complaining about for months.
Best reddit image slider on mobile! Does everything it needs to imo One minor issue that I've been hoping gets fixed for a long time: There needs to be an option to disable the titles in Fullscreen (or an "immersive" mode where you can only see the image and nothing else)! Because sometimes the image/video isn't really Fullscreen and there's a black bar where the title is! Otherwise great app! Would get 5 stars from me if this gets fixed :D
I like the app, would it be possible to have multiple subreddits in one view, for example r/battlestations and r/workspaces?
Needs an overhaul and some UX fixing. Doubt it'll ever happen though considering the lack of updates. Do yourself a favour and download (or even better but the Pro version) Sync. It has a swipe mode now which does exactly that, apart from being just an awesome Reddit client.
Excellent app but I'm stuck with ads despite being a paying customer.
Paid for no ads, but lately im seeing ads anyway. Not cool
Absolutely love this app. Was giving up hope on finding a simple picture viewer for Reddit. Easy to download images, easy to login, love the slideshow feature. Great. EDIT: Had to edit this review to say again, absolutely the best image viewer for reddit.
Thank you sooo much for updates recently! Gallery for Reddit is my favourite and most used app on Android. It's consistently has the highest screen time out of any app I use. You have my eternal gratitude! I thought I'd give feedback - I'd love to see "hide image" shortcut on the footer buttons. Another awesome thing would be a larger image cache option. Lastly, I seem to get logged out a lot as of late 🤔 - think it might be a bug.
5 when the no ads version I paid for has no ads.
Great viewing app with 2 problems, the first is that the comments, upvote & diwnvote etc buttons are white, which means they are often invisible on many posts. The second is that sometimes it doesn't load enough posts causing you to run out of images really fast. if these were fixed 5 stars for sure.
The app crashes when you try to save an image. I sent an email to let them know & got a less than pleasant response. The update has kept on being moved to internal storage when I want it on my SD card instead.
This is a really good app and I've used this for many years but the Subreddit filter won't let me remove preset items, they come back after restarting the app. I don't like it that someone else decides what I can see.
I would like to give 5*, but there's a bug in the app: from home, open an image (for instance it's from /r/comics), then click menu and choose "open /r/comics", the weird list opened instead of the comic one. I saw this bug for awhile. Please fix it ASAP. Thanks.
A good app for Reddit, but the normal swipe down to download feature makes a folder for every single album that I download, regardless of the album being a single image, and I've just today started receiving ads, and while Playstore says that my previous purchase to remove ads has been refunded, I see no log of that money coming into my bank account.
My previous rating was 5 stars but now I have to drastically reduce it cause I now can't seem to download some video files which is largely the reason I got this app, I had thought it was a problem with the subreddit links but when I copied those links and successfully downloaded them from a web browser I knew the problem had to be this app, what went wrong?
Just got filled with ads even though I paid for it?
Used to be my go to reddit app. Now what a waste. Put your ads on the top of the window, at least. Jeez, not the bottom.....Also tired of opening everything in "browser"...what happened to choosing my reddit app. Smh. Please fix, I'll be back.
Now it has ads time to downgrade!
A great app however it seems imgur has updated their api and as such the app is not reading galleries from imgur. Could the author kindly update the app to fix this issue. Other than the aforementioned issue, everything else is fine.
This is almost great. It could be perfect, but, for some reason, it will not stay logged into my Reddit account, so it displays the regular front page and categories when loaded.
Recent update turns music volume down each time you go into a new post, this is extremely annoying and will stop me from continuing to use this app. Was good until then.
Very good app but with a major BUG :( in showing thumbnails :( if the reddit post has a comment the app fails to show the thumbnail of the post. It shows only the default broken thumbnail icon.
New save feature makes navigating the app tedious. Extra clicks weren't needed and certainly not wanted. Bring back the old save system!
Uninstalling because you can no longer make the ads go away. Used to be able to click them and go back to the app without an ad; now there's a permanent ad regardless.
Great app, use it all the time. Dev is active and fixing bugs, which is always good. Save funtionality that many hated was fixed.
