Gallery Rename Plugin
This app makes you rename some photos, images and movies, from gallery app of android default.it is an application as the plugin of gallery.
So far, you could not file operations from the gallery of Android default.Now, You can work with the files very easily from the gallery via this app.Please install this who were previously frustrated by the standard gallery!
This app, has confirmed that the "Gallery ICS" "Gallery KK" even work.
How to use this?
I believe you had better look at the video.
1. You launch the gallery app.
2. Select by, for example, press and hold the file you want to rename.
3. Select "Rename file" in the upper right corner of the gallery from the "Share".
4.Input new file name.
5. If you press the OK button, rename starts.
6. Complete!
* It is an application that works with android's default gallery app.
* Permission of the communication system will only be used to get ads.
* This app tested on Nexus 4 · Nexus 5 · Nexus 7(2012) · Fujitsu Arrows 202F.
* Before you use this app, I recommend you to remove the cache data in the gallery.
* I have carried out the test(Unit test, on machine test) as much as possible, but it is not possible to test the terminal of all the Android.

Works great, even if using through the "share" button is a little unorthodox. Minor bug though: the file date sometimes gets "reset" even when the box isn't checked. Checking and unchecking keeps the file date from being updated.
Not bad. Works with "Gallery" and just add s rename ability. Doesn't slow my phone, doesn't hog memory. Not at all hard to figure out. I can select photo, go to edit, and rename there. Easy.
The idea is very very very much Great. it is the only idea i found in playstore but it doesn't rename files in sd card but people's most of the files are stored in sd cards .
this is the perfect app for me!!! my phone saves screenshots in png and I couldn't share those on Instagram story, now I can easily change to jpg in an instant
It is easy, simple, fast and does exactly as intended And since Samsung gallery no longer has the "edit" option, this app is highly recommended
Works like a charm! Wish it could also rename files in batch. No Spam or crazy Ads. Just follow the instructions, installed on Android v5.1 - Lolipop.
Did not find an option to select more than one picture in the gallery. Share menu does selects a bunch, but does not have an option to rename selected in my phone
Thought this was going to be one of those too good to be true things but nope, it works like it says. Fantastic app As of May 2022 this no longer works

Works perfectly. I just followed the instructions on my Moto E (2015) -- well, almost ... it works very slightly differently on this phone -- and successfully renamed a pic with a twenty-odd character name (that included the date and time down to the second) to a five-character name that means something to me now. I wish we had the option of not showing the icon in the app drawer, since if you tap the icon, you just get a pop-up that says you must start Gallery first. In Gallery, when you find your picture and tap the Share icon, the Rename icon shows up, and tapping that gives you the renaming panel with Now Name (shown) and New Name (blank to fill in). Do it and hit OK. Done. Thanks, Tatuas.
Doesn't work and jams up my tablet. I reinstalled this app and it no longer works. When I try for rename picture, it give a long message starting with: "Please check new extra text"..." And message will not go away when I pulled out of app. I had to unload app to get rid of it. I do not know what you did, but a great app is now useless.
Yeah, I like Tatuas App suite of photo/gallery apps. This app does what it says, but the best use I found for it is 'photo caption'. The caption can then only be seen in 'Details'. They do not write over any part of the photo and there is No Photo Degradation (the original image size is preserved).
I've been working out in the field for 3+ years now and hated having to come back to the hotel after a 12 hour day, just to sort through and rename all my photos because Google hasn't made a built in feature like this... With this add-on there is no need of a separate gallery or the need of using a file manager. It's quick, easy and fast!
The stock Gallery app already gives you the option to rename image & video files. Why you would need this app is confusing to me. On my Note 3 all i have to do is long press on the image till it has a green check mark, press the menu button and right there is the option to rename the file. Now for batch renaming, the stock Gallery cant do that and i dont know if this app can do it either. Ill have to play around with it to find out.
Nice important function that android 4.0+ left out. No trouble renaming. Just what I need.
Does what it says it will do perfectly and without much delay, there is some where the updated file register wont be reconized for a few seconds ((to minuets)) but that may be a isolated problem of my phone. file name is instantly renamed, no delay. Fix the improper english in the app page for it, and It'll be a perfect app with a perfect presentation.
