Same as the last person, once you reinstall it wont go past initial setup and is then broken. I cleaned program traces off root. If i click on GCM in supersu it causes the supersu app to freeze/end. Only this app, the others work fine. Waste of 6 dollars, which you have to pay if you actually want to use the controller. Unless the dev fixes it...

after having tried several apps and none recognized my Destiny edition plat white PS4 controller fully, I found this app does. I think it safe to assume the paid versions do the same. But, all versions require root. Otherwise it doesn't matter if the app is seeing and mapping buttons right or not. Others seem to make use of disabilities control as a bypass on Vendor locked phones. Not in the least bit upset. Though would have enjoyed testing the same app on a non root version.

This was the exact message, word for word punctuation and all for permission that I got from this app... Never seen anything like this before. It definitely gave me fear for the safety of my privacy and my bank account. Needless to say, I uninstalled this app immediately.

It almost mapped the 360 controller correctly. The lt and rt buttons we're mapped to the right joystick. Also want a refund for the mapper pro. I could not use it because of root. Not sure how many people still root their phones in this day and age but there are ways around allowing controller mapping that does not require root.

Unfortunately it didn't work with my switch pro controller. Maybe in the future? It seems like I could get it to recognize all of the buttons and joysticks. After assigning them they would have strange cross talking, pressing Y pressed Y and L2. L2 and R2 seem quite glitchy. Couldn't get the controller to work with the touch mapper or octopus or any other app. Running Oreo with root.

I really loved that I could change the buttons, but then slowly realized that I needed the PRO feature to use what I just assigned outside of the app, which I wouldn't mind doing.. until I saw you had to have root access. I haven't rooted a phone since I've had switched to Pixel phones (I mainly rooted to have stock Android) but oh well, thanks for giving me hope for a few seconds.

doesn't work I thought after being super savy rooting xpose etc.... I'd be able to do this. followed all Instrutions and there is no in game key mapping. says on video works with all games I can't apply it to any game I have... even ones in tutorial video dontnwork. free version I saw my game pad thought pro would have more options and custimation for games. pro just takes your money and no support. requesting a refund.

My Xbox 1 s controller was starting act wired. Where some of the buttons were getting mixed up or not working at all. Like X was Y, but Y was doing nothing and the right Joystick was both triggers.... and after downloading this app all that was fixed. Not sure if it was the app or not lol

This app has a lot of potential because I was able to rewrite my controller but it requires you to pay to use it in other apps which is a waste of an app, also they should add options for the different types of controls like ps4 dual shock or Xbox 1 controller and so on.

I downloaded the app and tried the demo of the app it seem to work but an order to use the full app you need to buy the program to use it usually this would be ok if it actully worked. The app keeps asking for rooted permisson but there is no option for that. I did check the feedback before getting this but there is a reason the app has a very low score, i would highly recommend avioding this app as it seems to be just for show.

You need to buy the pro version to actually use the app for the intended purpose (remapping). This requires root access, which they don't tell you until after the in app purchase for pro. Honestly even if this does work after buying pro and rooting, it's a complete scam. They make it an in app purchase so you can't refund from the play store after you realise it won't work, and tell you that you need to root your phone after the fact so you aren't disinclined from the purchase. Complete scam.

Honestly it is not even worth the one star. App was able to see the connected controllers (PS4 & 8Bitdo SF30 Pro) move and buttons be pressed but this could not be translated to game. I had issues with this with my chromebook and on my android tablet. I emailed for support and asked for refund but have heard nothing. Do not waste your money!!

With joycons, analogs sticks do not center. Ever. Constantly inputting the last movement. Remapped the buttons and is the only app I've used so far to do so, but breaking analog support is unacceptable.

Works pretty good (in comparison to the -frankly- nonexistant competition). Joycons however... the left one's analogue stick keeps drifting, the right one is not recognized, and ZR is now recognized as "analogue axis input" Much room for improvement. EDIT: Towards the dev reply: Joyconenabler does not seem to properly work with any of my 1st party joycons...

Extremely disappointed with this! I fact I bought the full version hopping that it will work with my MoGa but I have no root, and it wasn't clear if pro version will require root as well so I have never been able to use it - just spent $6 on it for to benefit! :( I wish some devs really do apps that work for everyone before asking any money!

Installing a Magisk module for controller support adds more precise mapping. You'll be 100% disappointed if you purchase this app as NO refund will be given by Google either. if you're looking to keymap games I purchased a gamesir controller as their app works in all games.

It says in the description "Use DPAD as Analog(Useful for Controllers without Analog Stick)" but I couldnt find this option anywhere. There is an option for an oposite action btw which is totally useless in my case. My device is rooted

Requires purchasing pro to use in games, regardless if you root or not. It even states this in the app that all you can do without pro is test game pad buttons and what not. And you can do that with other apps without the need of root.

To all below bagging this saying it does not work, are in my opinion complete nubs, if you are using any device with android 11 there is a bug in accessibility settings preventing 75% of all known controllers from working.. Just a simple Google search will verify this. There is a fix, as it involves another app you'll find it yourself!

Non stop hassling to get you to buy pro. You'll spend more time closing popups than using the app. Dev: Not the best way to get people to part with their money. You might think you can annoy people into paying to shut you up but you forget it's easier to just uninstall.

hi, i am having issues with enabling root access for the app to work properly. the User Guide states that this process should be automatic, however i am unable to see any dialog box requesting for root access after setting up the controller. i am currently using Samsung Galaxy Note 9. can you pls help me out

Needs root. No idea if this actually works, and I'm not going through all that just to find out and be disappointed like the last app. And a pay wall? You need the pro version to actually do anything? Don't market as a FREE app then! Everyone else is saying it just crashes after purchasing, and you expect me to pay without testing. What a scam.

I'm using the latest ps4 controller and the keeps are mapped incorrectly by default and I thought this app could help me to change that because square is select and X is back, the device I'm using is a Samsung galaxy tab E 8.0 Verizon version 1.5 GB of ram and 32 GB of rom, Amdroid 8.1.0, please make an update for me to fix my problem

Lacking in every feature. I use a PS4 controller and it only detects 2 buttons. It just doesn't work and hopefully the people who made this sad excuse of a gamepad mapper can fix their problems so that people can actually use it

Useless app that won't let you draw over other apps without paying for pro. Enjoy only being able to calibrate if you don't wanna spend money on an app that doesn't tell you that you need to pay for it until you install it. What a joke!!
