Very good, better than I thought. This game is easy to understand and more you advance more settings are available. It's a very interesting game with so many options to build the best and the worst games ever. I highly recommend. If I have something to improve, is to add some information about the genre of game. I don't know what is the difference between adventure and action game... And some themes have similar names "City / Construction" and some have weird name like "abstract game".

I know in the grand scheme of things we really moved technologically fast, but this game REALLY speeds through everything a little too quick, a nice balance would be, if your in the middle of making a game then sure, let time star going at a faster pace, but at times I feel like I need to make quick decisions between actions so time doesn't past me by in game. It's really fun, and though these consoles are using a funny alternative to the real world, it was a treat to see the evolution of them.

Controls are extremely well done (took only a minute to get used to), the core game play is repetitive but if you like building things and learning how to optimize what you build, it's really fun. Plus, the rest of the game even had me laughing at times with the goofy references 😂 all in all, 10/10 inasmuch as it delivers exactly what would be expected.

Played GameDevStory and after moving to this one, it's night n day. Very well made and so many options to choose from. The tutorials and messaging is not overbearing and the hand holding is very well done. Overall a great game dev game, highly recommend. Only one thing, as the clock keeps ticking while you're deciding what to do next, it would be a great feature to pause and decide on your next move instead of burning money while you think.

I definitely stayed up way too late playing this a few nights. Two things I wish were different about this game; I wish you could hire more people. I also would like to be able to assign multiple people to a task on a game. Say two on world design to carry a heavy load of scripting. It was difficult for me to get multiple specialists to create an in depth large game, let alone AAA until after the 35 years had ended. Otherwise it's great, and very addicting.

I'm so used to selling with mobile games; the idea will be good, bit it won't work well on my device, or the graphics will be bad, or it will just be a cash grab. This game rises above all of that, it runs wonderfully, it's entertaining, and looks good for what it is. The developers haven't filled the game with annoying pop-ups or any ads. The only issue I've run into is that Play Games causes some issues on startup, but I fully believe that it's a problem with the Play Games app. Thanks!

I love full customization games where I get full control of customizing characters, the layout of the business, logos, colors etc... As many times I've played this so far it's actually pretty good game. The way the game is designed makes your brain consider the game possibilities and how you might create that game. Update the game more and I could continuously play it.

Super fun played it many times. Hoping it continues to be developed and expanded. Wish there was a custom option for time progress though. Looking for that super long timeline. Being on game 13 when the offbrand psx launches seems quick to me. Especially when money is needed to get development rights for consoles, plus time spent to research, train, the works. Would love to be able to slow it down.

I quite enjoyed this game! It was a very welcome change of scenery to all of the "idle" games out there right now. My only disappointment was how quickly paced it was. I completed all 35 years of my career in just 7.5 hours. There was so much I didn't get to do (topics I never got to try, research items I never got to implement, promoting employees to directors, etc.). I felt very rushed throughout the whole game.

Fantastic and addictive. I loved game dev story and this feels like a great and expanded spiritual successor. The attentions to detail about how the industry panned out is also realistic. The artstyle and graphics are very nice. I like the look of the consoles. UI is hugely improved from game dev story because of the graphics too.

Awesome, it's a little difficult but if you've played games most of your life it's easy to see the correlations between the different setups. Stuff you'd like to see yourself, for instance. Just wish I had an option to remind me to name the game first before starting it, I always forget and get trash talked in reviews for it at first. 🤣

Solid little game and worth every penny. Casual and not stressful by any stretch but I wouldn't call it an 'idle' game. (No progress when you aren't playing). Still time passes fast enough and there's enough to do to be busy the whole time you're playing. Highly recommended

Neat game. Well designed and fun to play with lots of different options to unlock. Really fun from the start, and real-life references help tether you to the game and make it nostalgic and relatable. The game runs a little quick; there's no downtime and you often can't get to what you want to do because dialogs keep popping. It's sometimes hard to keep everyone busy, and there's no auto-pause when something needs done. Would like to see everything slowed by 40%. But the big problem is that the game is too difficult with changing requirements. Years 4-12 after my one single hit was constant stress and anxiety while my bank account dwindled, until bankruptcy at year 13. Lack of funds prevents you taking risks and innovating, and when you finally start building up information about what works (which is fun), the game purposely makes that information obsolete by changing trends (which is infuriating). And what works doesn't often make sense; I tried many games that were huge hits at the time and was told they were bad combos. This could be easily fixed with a difficulty toggle :/. Not sure it was worth the money, as I got 4 hours of playtime out of it and am now too frustrated to bother trying again unless they update it. Although I like many of the elements of this game better, I'll stick with Game Dev Story as I can actually finish a game, and my successes and failures are just reflected in an end-score.

The game plays and feels much like the original on the computer. It's neatly refined to fit the phone aspect of the port and it handles really well too. The controls are changed and designed to fit a smaller screen with touch capabilities. Meanwhile it keeps the sole aspect of the game sharp and clear. Make a game dev business, and watch it build. They also added a new feature to make it harder for the players who either have transferred over or just play enough.

This has to be perhaps one of the best tycoon games out there. Its fun, a little challenging and has a little story mode that keeps going as long as there are new consoles which is practically endless. I get to pretty much create some of the weirdest games and be successful while doing it. It runs really smooth, gameplay feels like it was made for the mobile market, the controls are pretty good as well. Keep up the good work. I love you Greenheart Games!

Quick and casual. Easy to jump in but has surprising complexity. My only gripe, and what keeps it from 5 stars, is pacing. Time Marches on while I'm trying to figure out what I just did or want to do next. In the early stages 8k in costs for my garage can eat up my capital quickly if I don't get into making a game quickly. It would be nice.to have a little more time to explore the interface and options. This is a pretty minor quibble though and I recommend the game highly. One time payment, no intrusive adds, and lots of fun.

I have never reviewed a game when the game asks me to review it, but this one is an exception. I have been programming games for a few years now (still learning more complex concepts of the language), and I think it's really fun to do things I like to do in real life, but in a video game, where you don't get stressed, upset, or angry. Awesome game. Graphics suit it well, music is somewhat relaxing, the gameplay is complex enough 4o be fun, but not overwhelming, and overall it's a good game. :)

Game is awesome I've been playing for 2 years now and it's great but I'm reviewing because of a major bug some people have experienced. So basically when you make a new save it sticks you in the loading screen forever, making it impossible to make a new save. The solution to that is to simply delete and reinstall the game. Don't know if that's what fixes it or the fact that all your saves are wiped but it works so it's fine. I hope Greenheart fixes this because wiping your saves is not the best.

So after playing this for a bit, it's incredibly well done! Though. I have a suggestion: please have a popup box for whenever there are bugs. Because whenever a game is completed and bugs are crushed, sometimes new bugs are added at the split second that I press to release the game. It'd be nice if I can postpone the release again. That'd be an amazing simple yet useful addition to reduce frustration.

I completed the PC version multiple times, decided to try out the mobile version. It runs great and the UI is basically just as good. Beating the game is difficult but manageable, I really like the detail and thoroughness of the story. My only issue is that after you complete the game its just a loop of create game, create sequel, create R&D marketing. I wish there was more to the endgame, and hopefully game dev tycoon 2 will have custom hardware as well. Overall, great game.

This game appears simplistic at first, but you quickly come to realize it's far more expansive that you might've initially thought. It has a fun gameplay loop that makes success feel very satisfying. However, a lot of the development aspects are rather vague, and you might be annoyed at the lack of success in what should be a done deal. As well, bad RNG can be crippling in the early stages. There's no shame in looking up basic guides if you're confused about what to do.

Fun but BROKEN. A key flaw is that the game repeatedly kicks back to the Google play store. That is bad enough but the game is poorly programmed which results in the game reloading to the menu everytime you switch windows. of course since it kicks you out of the window on it's own, you have to wait for the game to reload and then resume from your last save. Unplayable like this. I have played and loved the game since its launch on PC but this is unacceptable. Samsung S8+ with updated software.

I'm only a few minutes into my first run and the nostalgia for 80s and 90s gaming is really enjoyable, as well as the tutorial directions that feel less like directions and more like, idk, mentoring. Playing with the balance of different designs and seeing what works is really fun! I'm curious to see how the interface changes as the game progresses. So far my character does nothing but sit at a computer. I kind of hope eventually when the company gets bigger and you have employees that changes

DOES NOT WORK OFFLINE. I downloaded this for use aboard a ship out of network connectivity. I love the game, got addicted very quickly and really enjoy the graphic design and the well written tutorials. It has a great pace and is very well thought out. It worked for a day underway then stopped allowing me to open it because (now that I've read the fine print) it needs connectivity to verify ID/License. I was very disappointed, guess I'll have to find an unlicensed download now...

I've bought the PC version years ago and recently stumbled across the mobile version. Thankfully the devs didn't just make a simple port and call it a day, they actually put time and effort into it making the UI much more suited for mobile gaming. All the buttons are easy to hit, the sliders have a good size so I don't have any problems trying to adjust the game. Overall really good job I am really happy they put this much effort into the mobile version!
