Great game, very addictive, was leveling up fine! Suddenly had a glitch at level 98, wave 862. The wave was over but it wouldn't reset. I thought it was funny, but then the game wouldn't let me exit? Closed the game, reopened and it's glitching like crazy and won't let me do anything. Please fix. Not a huge deal if not fixed, but I do like the game if I could play it more it'd be cool
The game is very similar to Grow Empire: Rome. I don't know which one came first but they both have the same problem of inaccurate tower shots and extremely costly upgrades that usually makes you to wait a day for the offline bonus to afford upgrades. This can be a problem early on. Also, the rate at which you gain exp is very slow, and the passive skills do not have much value until you have invested a lot of EXP points on a certain skill. In short, It's a good time-killer but it has some flaws.
Delivers what's expected. Beautiful concept. Easy gameplay. Great time passer, which is really what it is. I totally recommend it. I won't be paying any more than I already have. It's really only worth the $1 to remove the Ads. Just make a larger scale game with the exact same concept, style, and gameplay mechanics, with maybe some additional fun, and I'll actually pay money for it. Especially if you put it on the PS4.
meh, its okay. can confirm that the screen shots look a little bit nicer than the actual game. suggestions: Improve lighting and add some extra stuff to look at on the map. Arrows that stay during the wave would look great. Gameplay is a hard one, maybe add more customizing and things to tinker with when it comes to your castle. Also, everything is incredibly over priced.
Its fun. Could use more customization and different options to change the towers out between different types of projectiles. Maybe more things to do besides just doing wave after wave or occupying the other cities for gold, maybe just a few other fun things to do that will help to earn gold quicker. Also, it takes way to long to earn the experience points that you use to level up the commanders skills. I think that you should get 3 experience points for every level up, instead of just the 1.
Just finished the "story line".There are ads of course... that's how companies make money get over it. The waves get a bit tedious, but I did enjoy conquering new lands and all the upgrading of troops. Really wish there was a boss level to conquer or maybe another hero or mercenary at the end. A little disappointing in that aspect. Overall a very fun game for wasting a bit of time.
After the update the slot wheel almost always gives gold, which is a complete waste because you get that just by waiting. The gems are most needed because can't get it any other way, though the XP is also needed & hard to get. They also dropped your standard gold gains and dropped the level caps on skills without refunding. Every change they made in the update was a huge mistake.
The graphics are ok-ish. You can keep the waves going without much of a wait, and you don't need to spend money to progress, especially if you don't mind watching an ad for more gold every now and then. The arrow tower skill seems to not do anything at this stage that I can tell, no reduction in enemy health. The damage system seems to be based on time your units is near their unit. Each additional unit makes the health bar slide faster rather than per hit values, which isn't very fun to watch.
It's well done compared to many others out there- never had any crashes, or any data loss; graphics are decent, & the controls are smooth & responsive. I do think the roulette wheel is weighted so it doesn't land on the good rewards though. Think of this game like an idle clicker- it's not for the impatient. Some complain about the ads, but I think that for now the # is reasonable. If the roulette wheel was balanced & the game had some kind of storyline / storyboards etc I'd give it 5 stars.
Enjoyed for a day or two. Pretty basic which is fine. I do not always feel the need to play games that overtime everything, but the minimal controls reduce the strategies available. Basic tactical strategy is not even possible due to control set up. You just have to stay in the games meta which is kind of lame. Deleting because I have no interest to spend on this game and eventually with tactical strategies out the window you either spend or repeat board 240 (for me) forever.
I already play other strategy games such as Bloons TD, I was immediately interested in this when I saw that it was a tower defense where your defense moves and comes out in groups, another thing that attracted me was the fact that you could send troops at AI bases. Overall, great game, I've had no issues other than the fact that at later levels you need to do a bit of grinding. (Edit) Many people seem to be saying level 120 is impossible, a way to beat this is swap out your archer towers arrows.
This is a great game. Its a basic tower defense game, not overly complex, but still entertaining. The fights are in small chunks, so if you've only got 20 mins to play, you can still get things done. Of course, you can lose 2 hours pretty easy too. You should probably download this game unless you just absolutely hate tower defense.
Buying gems to remove ads only removes the ads between levels and not the gold reward ads. The colony system is about as basic as it gets, troop upgrades are expensive and don't seem to do a whole lot, I can't tell what the ballista towers are firing at when I use them because they aren't affecting the enemy health bars and as of wave 40 I don't really feel any stronger than when I started out. Game itself seems to work fine but really didn't hold my interest.
Good game. Prepare to spend many hours playing to reach the end of game, but there's no reward or even any acknowledgement after conquering all the colonies of the world. Kinda disappointing in that regard, but all in all, a satisfying yet time consuming game. Buying gems with real money would help make the game go faster, but I refuse to pay for ANY game just to have a little fun online. Forced 30 sec ads are incredibly annoying after every two minute of game play! Hope you have lots of patience.
the controls are terrible, and too many ads. I actually might have enjoyed the game itself if it was remotely playable but the controls are just so messy. I don't understand why you'd make a touch screen drag-control game if it doesn't drag properly. just make buttons to control the screen, if you can't do it right
In the late game, there's not much else to do. There's no balance. Max lvl troops are not enough to beat lvls and you can't do anything about it. Exp given is small and not enough. Catapults and archer towers deal no damage. Sometimes battles are heavily influenced by luck. Overall, could be much better
Enjoyable and easy to get into once you start to understand how it works. Having played it a lot it gets repetitive and I am having to wait ages to collect Jewels so now the adverts are getting intrusive. I have more money in the bank than I can spend, my units are maxed out(apart from heroes). My general has reached his max XP. Now it's just a slog to collect Jewels to finish the game.
It's a fun and simple game, with easy controls to pick up. The graphics are good and the gameplay is fun, but it falls a little short in terms of power progression. Upgrades are expensive and making money is slow, so it gets repetitive quickly. If making money was easier, this game would be greatly improved.
Moderately entertaining; the combat and techtree are pretty simple. I wanted something that required fewer brain cells than my last mmo so this fits the bill. As with other reviews - updates have made significant changes without explanation. - wheel of fortune updated, rewards improved and cost decreased - Commander skills capped at lvl 25, even if the player had improved them above this - gold collection changed - my rate has been halved but I can't see if the time period has been reduced?
It's ok, easy to play and entertaining. Upgrades are possible without too much stress. It's a nice game for your breaks. Looking forward for an improved graphic. The play style it's a bit too fast, I would advice to slow it down or give the players the settings for it.
I've only been playing it for about 8 hours but so far it's one of the best games of its kind I've encountered. And I've encountered quite a lot. It has a good mix of troops to upgrade, abilities, and things like different ammo to upgrade for your ballista. Like I said I've only been playing it for about half a day so I'll update this once I have more play.
Good game but tune is not very much good,so please change the tune. There is no levels also so do it , it can be that you are thinking that I am giving 5 stars after two wrong things but the game is outstanding but then also as I am a player of the game so I am requesting you to change the mode of the game. *Thank You*.
This strategic game is one of the best games i've ever played. The graphics are perfect, it's challengy and well thought out game. How they made many levels with different soilders, differerent islands to explore is one thing that makes me love this exotic game. Great to kill time with playing it wherever you go due to it mostly being an offline game. I'll continue to play Game Of Warriors recommending it to all gamers. Hope to see new updates!!
This game is incredibly awesome. The only problem is that when you want conquer new territories you go to war with only one unit which I don't think is the best way to go to war, Mostly when you're going to conquer new territories.
Good for an idle game. I think there's a few games that are exactly like this, but still no errors or broken pieces. Anyone saying this is hard probably didn't finish elementary school, you literally can't lose. Just having the game open you're making progress. I got to invading 65 or so without even caring about the rock paper siccors element. Never paid for anything, but also don't care to grind to 100% completion either.
