Game of Words: Free word games

Fun, but having ads and limited lives makes this game very annoying. Pick one or the other and the rating goes up. You can pay to make the ads go away, but you then have to pay for more lives when you run out or wait a long time for them to refill. Plus, the ads are very difficult to close out. Most of the time it takes you to the app store, when all you donis hit the tiny "x" in the corner. The game is Very fun and addicting, but the penny pinching has become ludicrous with this one.

I keep losing all my points because I accidentally hit the hint button. There used to be an option to confirm hints, but that seems to have disappeared. After the 5/7 update, the ads make this game unplayable. You are forced to click on the and then it will often kick you out of the game when trying to get prizes from the chest. I've been annoyed with the game for awhile (e.g. endless lives, but few fruit and keys anymore) so I think I'm moving on to something new.

This app needs to get fixed after its latest update. I get you have to have commercials but good lord, give us the ability to close them when they are done. Right now the only choice you have is to view the commercial, go to the app store because you have no choice, close that, get back to the commercial, go back to the app store, close that again and head back to the commercial. Then sometimes a little tiny tiny 'x' displays where glory be, you can actually close the darn thing.

I am really enjoying the game but the adverts are destroying the game for me. I understand that I need to watch the adverts to progress to next levels, but I don't think the advertisers intended for people to hate their products. The timer freezes and then cuts away from the game completely and i lose all the benefits. If nothing can be done about this, i will uninstall the game.

The game it's nice and enjoyable, but with the latest updates the amount of ads has become ridicolous. Fair enough to play ads to obtain hints or just a few here and there...but even between every level, even when you start the game from the main screen. Honestly, it's annoying and ruins the gameplay.

I can't quite explain why I like Game of Words but it has certainly helped my racing brain and destressed my life. I really like all the reward options and I play for free. The ads annoyed me at first, I nearly gave up quickly but have now adjusted and very occasionally there is one that does interest me lol. I think the pets are cute and like naming and feeding them, kind of me feel like I actually have pets, which I don't irl. Thanks developers. PS: really missing pets at higher levels!

I will give you 2 stars. After the errors and glitches last night? It freezes up, clears and refuses to play. I cleared the cache and nothing. Still won't load. I don't think that I will continue playing it until the glitches get fixed. And since the update wasn't necessary? I was forced out of the game with no intentions of ever coming back!!!

Don't like how the screen blacks out when opening rewards with 4 more to open, because you have to exit the game and come back and play..it's getting way worse...ok,it's happening every time now..uninstalling..it's ridiculous

Although I really liked this game building the house seemed to get cluttered!!!.The hints seemed to get more costly!! I am trying to find a game that onced you've decorated a room it's not cluttered and you don't have to put earned coins in a bank that you have to buy!!! Deleting I tried this game again, now in order to play, you have to join a team, I'm a loner, I don't like to made to join a team!!!

I really love this game. However, I deducted a star because you used to be able to trade coins for energy in the final land- now the only way to get extra energy is to watch videos and I paid to go ad free to reduce the number of videos I had to watch. Deducted another star as, since the recent update, the function to trade and get an extra energy (so 2) by watching a video is no longer working- please fix these issues cause otherwise this is probably the best word game I've ever played

I have really been enjoying this game and even though the crosswords are becoming more challenging, I have gone farther than I thought. When I first started I didn't use a name for myself because I didn't know if I'd stay with it,, so mine just says "you" but now I wish I had. Is there someway I can add a name or something without loosing my present status ?? Thankyou

This is one of the better word games, but recently the ads have become too much! After every puzzle a lengthy ad comes on, stopping my music app. I like this word game, but I can find another word game easily

Giving up. After landing on"open again" on the rewards chest the ads are ridiculous. They're the same again and again (if I haven't bought the product the first 100 times I see an ad I'm not likely to buy it the next 500 times I see it either) Another change is now, after they've run, there's no x to get out of them, just a rtn arrow that takes you back to the play store so you have to reboot the game. Used to be good but developers get greedy it seems and overdo the ads.

It makes me upset that you are now charging us tokens that we honestly won to spin. If this is going to continue then I'll delete the game & choose a different game & game carrier. This is a game & not the real world where prices/token go up to use. Get back to playland plz. I'm in the real world & this is my escape!!!!

I am on level 395 and I'm still doing dumb, 3 letter words. 4/22update: now nearing level 600, it's like they took the first 200 levels and repeated them over and over. I'm so tired of seeing the same choices of letters and it's not true, it doesn't progressively get harder. It gets progressively more boring though, I'll keep going see what changes (if anything)

It's got ads you have to watch until you're able to "x" them out. I get it, they need to generate revenue for free games. still, it's annoying. The game itself is enjoyable.

I love this game but I am frustrated. I am on the page with the treasure chest, I picked open again and the game is completely frozen. I tap continue and nothing happens. I have been playing a while and don't want to start all over again. I cleared the cache, still nothing. Why?

Way, too many ads that take 30 secs. for each one, they run two or three in a row. Very annoying! Costs way too much to obtain a hint. (The games money) so if you're stuck trying to figure out a word, it's 4 or 5 thousand to obtain a hint. Sometimes the ads lock up when they're done and you have to go off the game site and then go back on the site to clear it because it freezes up. Not bad once you get into it.

I have played this game since day 1, and you have totally ruined it with your stupid updates. First you gave us stupid little chest to help us get more gold, but you took away features that gave us way more gold than your update ever has. Now you changed the wheel, but the amounts to win are garbage. I don't believe the good reviews. This last update put the final nail in this game`s coffin. You need to go and put the game back to how it was before the dumb small chest update.

Super addicting and destressing. Played through all levels twice on my old phone, just got a new phone so I get to start over again. There are ads between levels, but if you purchase one starter bundle (something like $5 or lower) it removes ads completely. I have no idea why I enjoy this as much as I do, but kudos to the developers 👏🏻

Love the game The game is awesome! I've been playing for a long time and it has problems loading and you loose your rewards, this happens often and it isn't fair. Anyway it's still fun but it cheats you out of rewards!! I'll admit I'm addicted to the game. But now that I'm in higher levels, over 2100 it gets bad ads are long and boring everything you do there's an Ad. It says update gives you more keys. Not sure how bad it was before but you very seldom get keys or extra spins.

the game is just as advertised in the ads you have to find words and then you can build a house up with your coins. you also have bonus levels where you have to answer grammar questions good game and not to many ads at all

Hooked on this game and I bought the non-ad version. However I am HIGHLY disappointed that I don't get any spelling/grammar bonuses anymore. Keys are harder to get the higher in level you reach and I haven't gotten any new pets, yet still collect strawberries that I don't need. The price to build gets higher as you level up but bonus coins on the board seem like a lot less too. Please fix these issues!

Really great game with the exception of ads that keep freezing up with a black screen with no way to exit except to close out the game...very annoying please fix this!!

This is my favorite game of its type. Complicated without being irritating, visually pleasant, good vocab, very good sound controls. 2022, not enpugh opportunities to feed pets. As a rescue person, takes the fun out of it. Don't saddle me with animals i can't feed!

If you like watching ads, then this is the game for you. There are ads literally between every part of the gameplay. Before you start a level, an ad. When you finish a level, an ad. When you feed your pets, an ad. Ridiculous!

Started off brilliantly but as you go up in levels gets much harder which is fine but the rewards don't match up. To receive the big rewards, you need to purchase. So not worth it. Going to delete it now reached level 556. Goodbye.

I so appreciate the prompt reply by your personnel, after I complained about the app not only using archaic and rare words, which you explained are valid Scrabble words. Also, after l reached to the top ranking, the rewards simply stopped loading. The later problem has been fixed, and I'm back enjoying the challenge of the game daily at the end of my day. Thank you, Game of Words Puzzle.

I love this game! Update 12/26/21: I've completed 5 levels and am on level 6 Irongrip. Now suddenly I'm getting the prompt again saying I've finished all available levels and do I want to restart the game again. Why is that? I still have many levels to complete. I restarted the last time and don't want to restart again. Later that same day: Well I went ahead and rest the levels and now I'm getting the prompt again!
