GAME Reward Mobile App

Installed to access my account information quickly, however I cannot log in, initially it opened the browser and I logged in to be taken back to the app, wait for 30s with a spinning icon before being told "Error: The connection timed out, please try again". Happened multiple times, was logged in on the browser. Deleted data and tried again same thing. Also the fact it will open product pages separately in the browser makes most of the rest of the app functions pointless. Will just use website..

It would be nice if there was like a built in browser because when you click on a lot of things in the app it'll take you to the corresponding page on their website in your browser which can be annoying if you accidentally click something. Other than that it's pretty great, you can see your rewards points, preorders, everything you need. It even has gaming news

Uninstalled and canceling Elite until you fix the app. Constant notification every few minutes of "this section is no longer available" popping up when I'm watching a video, or trying to draw something. Even when I'm editing. Until this app is fixed and you issue a statement saying you have fixed it. I will be uninstalling and canceling my Elite membership.

Great feature is that I can create a widget on my homescreen for my Elite Card for quick use in store & to quickly see what my points balance is. However, I've been constantly getting a "This section is no longer available" message popping up on my phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) all the time. Traced this back to the Game app. Unistalled and the message stopped. Have only reinstalled as I've been told I'll need app to redeem points on pre-order. Please fix this, I'll be unistalling again otherwise.

Not too useful. Many of its links just open a browser window, so why having the app? Barcode scanner looks good although I could not find a barcode it could successfully recognise. Registration was cumbersome: it could not find my address (first time I'm having this problem) and if you leave a single space after your email, it fails to recognise it as one. Not a good experience.

Be wary guys, if you download this app you may be prone to a really annoying pop up message on your phone 'this section is no longer available'. It pops up even when the app is not running/open! Quick Google will show you it's very prominent amongst Android users.

Great app, goes perfectly with the elite membership. It could do with a few tweaks though - a few links to the web page don't work, I was also told I could change my address for me account through the app, but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Love Game store and app, staff is always super friendly and helpful. Plus having the app is so convenient to find prices and stock on games I'm thinking on buying and not to mention it keeps you up to date with all new products so it's never the same stuff over and over again. Also the elite reward system is really worth it, I've managed to save so much money on new games just by accumulating my points. Really worth a download and a visit.

Good App While the layout could be a touch cleaner, with less "shiny attractive" baubles, on the whole the app just works. I would like a cleaner less fussy interface, a clearer and better spaced "divide" between platforms and their related games and services. But what you do see is a great deal of information about platforms, games and accessories. Above all I hope a future update will remove the requirement to go automatically to the browser in order to choose and make payment for items.

Really annoying issue that has been affecting my Samsung Galaxy for months where I get a pop up 'this section is no longer available'. I installed some additional software and found out this notification is coming from the Game App. Uninstalled the app and no longer have the notification. Please fix this!!

Annoying, won't find my reward card, so won't register account. Pointless app if you can't do the basics. Only wanted it so I don't have to carry around another card. Sort it out Game!

Really buggy app. Been getting the same issue as a lot of other people have for a number of months that "this section is no longer available" toaster notification pops up randomly. Only installed to get 20% off Easter deal and will now be uninstalling pronto

Great app but a lot of flaws, one major let down is the app doesn't seem to recognise most game bar codes when scanned and no game titles appear for me when i use keywords in the search section. Overall this app could be amazing but with so many errors and bugs still it's not that fun to use let alone be helpful in any way, only good thing about this app currently is the news feed and the points and wallet amount are generally accurate even after purchases in store are just made.

Non existent customer service. If you have any issues and send an email don't expect a reply. Don't believe their lies about extra points when you spend a certain amount, they don't pay up. And the app redirects to their website, it's a waste of time. Avoid this company like the plague, they aren't cheap, charge £5 for delivery which takes longer than advertised.

Utter garbage. Every time I tried to set it up to be able to spend my points, I ended up with a new account with no points. A staff member in a Game shop told me to uninstall, reinstall and go to the bit where I would be able to edit my card number so I could access my points. After several attempts, I could not find this option at all. I have over £30 worth of points and would quite like to spend them!!!! That staff member told me it was designed to be difficult so you couldn't access your points, he isn't wrong!!!

Doesn't actually do anything it's supposed to. Trying to purchase things just takes you to the website, reward points only work half the time, there's no easy catalogue to browse, and the "My orders" section is a buggy mess. I click "Change" store for one of my preorders and it takes me to the website where I then get NO options related to what I clicked. This is a tech company, you'd think they'd be able to build a functioning self-contained app.

Terrible. I cannot believe after years of not using game due to their poor website that they still haven't fixed it. It doesn't give me any confidence in using the app when anything I've added to my balance is immediately wiped and replaced with £0.00. I doubt if I ordered something it would appear in my orders or even show up! Still shocked game haven't changed, I'll stick with Amazon and I'm sure I'll see Game go out of business fairly soon.

No search function?! I've no idea which genius signed off the idea of a mobile store app which doesn't contain a search function - possibly they were concussed at the time. The app forces you to scroll through the pages until you find the specific item you need, and then opens up a Web browser! Really, really poor design.

I love this app! I mostly use it for checking trade prices and my points balance etc but enjoy exploring the variety of offers too. My only gripe would be that the various competitions the app does can sometimes be a bit tricky to find of you're looking for one you know is currently going on but hasn't been advertised to you.

Functional, but I wish the app did more than just serve as a loyalty system and links to the mobile site. If you could do more such as instantly buy digital content, order/reserve physical items, and book time in Belong Arenas all within the app, it would be much more useful.

Things don't add to cart and navigation of the app isn't particularly smooth. Every time you want to progress something, like making an order it links to the website rather than being able to purchase in app.

Completely useless for buying anything. Mobile app and website Links don't work images and pages don't load... App takes you to their website to process purchases but on mobile (that the app is obviously designed for) the page won't load and the links don't work. Also while making a purchase from a desktop PC the website is still awfully designed and purchasing as a guest should not require as much personal information as they require for a product.

I am unable to log out of the account. As it just automatically logs me back in. Even if I uninstall the app and then reinstall it it opens automatically. The app is showing the wrong reward card and therefor is not showing my current preorders. This appears appear to be a shambles and needs some serious work doing to it.

The app use to work fine if a bit sluggish since I've joined elite, the app struggles to let me put pin code in and notice it,doesn't allow me to top up my wallet any more keep getting error code tried contacting game through app and email no replies, very disappointed as been with game and had the app forever, might have to take my business else where,

App sometimes directs you to the website for certain functions. Wish it was all in one place when you browse and buy stuff from the store within the app. Other retailers do this already. Also changes to the amount in the wallet takes time to refresh within the app. Hope this bug is sorted in futuew updates.

The load time within the app is extremely slow on full signal and then after waiting a while it says "an error occurred retrieving this item. Please try again l" very annoyed the app used to be quick and responsive but not anymore.

I like being able to see my game rewards easily. App keeps you up to speed with launches, prize draws, etc. The staff at Newark are so friendly, give great service and are an asset to the business.
