GamerLink Beta: Universal LFG

Its overall a really good app. The only problem I have is that's I never get any notifications for anything when I have notifications turned on. Also it gets really slow and freezes whenever I try to alter my profile. But other than those two things I think it's really fun I've already made a few new friends that I can have fun with.

It's a great app for finding teammates and friends to play with. The only fault I have with it is the glitchy notification system and refresh system. If I refresh more than twice the app wont refresh so I have to restart it. Also notifications are inconsistent when I'm not on the app, with many arriving hours late. Great app overall though

The app is very promising but in very early stages. Only a select few games are available, which you're forced to pick one of as a game you play in spite the text saying it's optional during first launch, and there's virtually nothing to look for. I get the vibe you're able to start your own group but I saw no ability to do that myself, meaning the games I'm looking for friends for, whether they're old like command and conquer or new like ultimate chicken horse, will be unlikely to be fulfilled.

Very very laggy and crashes quite often. I understand it's only a beta but it needs to be more stable. When it's working, it's fine, it just hangs a lot. As a suggestion, I would like to see more filters. For example in Rocket League, I like to filter by region and rank as well as platform.

Awesome app! I use it a lot, it even helped me get some quick cash when I was kinda broke. The only problem i have with it is chats. Sometimes it doesn't show all messages, it's really slow sometimes and laggy. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it takes like 30 sec or min to load one chat + sending messages and typing is laggy. That's the only reason why I gave 4 stars, instead of 5. Anyways, Great app!!!

I've been using this app for around a year to find Rocket League trades, at first the app was just an LFG app, and it served its purpose very well. The app was very fast and was rarely buggy. However, lately the app has been buggy, as it doesn't let me scroll far down my feed before moving me back to the top of the list. And very slow, as sometimes it takes up to ten minutes just to load in messages. The app is frustrating at times, but the community is great.

This newest version of gamerlink is by far the worst one yet. It doesn't show you recent posts. It only lets you search for Xbox instead of all consoles if that's what you have. You cannot find your post in the crowd. I know I'm missing much more but what in the heck were they thinking releasing this. Just baffled!!!! Even with all the bugs I wish I could revert back to the last version. At least that was a good tool in finding players and games. Especially from other consoles.

It was simple before and the new update made it look nice, like a gamers social media. it's really buggy and doesn't update correctly, it takes a few times to close the app and reopen it for any profile changes or post comments to go through or show up... It's a good layout change and a great idea, but really needs some work.

A once-great app that is pushing way too hard to become a social media app, rather than a LFG network. Interface is unintuitive and slow - A distinct downgrade from the previous versions of the app. Hub feature is unnecessary and not used. At least you can find some decent games once you get the app working. update: Increased focus on the LFG function has definitely improved the experience of finding games, although doesn't fix the clunky menus and how hard it is to even find what you're after.

The recent update fixed alot of issues that came with the previous update, my app has stopped crashing and typing no longer kicks me out when only typing one word. I'm also glad to see post editing has made its way back to the app. I no longer feel the need to shove my head through a wall. Keep up the good work.

The app was okay before the radical update with the new design once you figured out how to add your ID in there. It's really confusing to navigate now, though, and all you get are a lot of foreigners. That never used to be the case. App is also a lot slower and less responsive since the redesign.

The app is an interesting idea, kind of like discord but more social I guess. The app worked fine before the update, but now everytime I try to search it is slow and after a few seconds it crashes the app and my background apps. I guess it was trying to load too much stuff into the memory. My phone has 2gb ram and I think if the devs see this they should work on the memory management.

Its a great app to look for trades and teammates on Rocket League. The only problem though is when I try to use it its super laggy. It takes forever to refresh or give notifications. I've tried different devices and different connections. App crashes a few times a day but overall its useful app.

The app is amazing but there is one problem, which is when l text someone on the messages or send them screenshots of match results, they don't get them and they don't get the messages either. Overall the app is amazing.

It's a great app, I find other players to talk to and play with pretty easily. Easy user interface with multiple games and systems to work with. The only problem I've been having that's quite frustrating is the fact that I don't get any notifications. So if I post something to reach out to people I won't know until I open the app.

first id like to state that the community interaction by the gamerlink team is very good. big compliment to them Have gotten used to the new update. but still would like to see some improvements. id like to view the posts of others on their profile. and have accidently closed my beacon several times due to the fact that the close and bump button are close to eachother and the exact same colour. and that clicking on a notification would bring you directly to the message instead of the homescreen

Update: Tried it again because developer said it was fixed. Wasted my time as it's not fixed and still crashing. Don't worry, I've uninstalled it again. Spent two days trying to get past the login part. App keeps crashing. I double checked my phone and settings to make sure it was definitely the app. I can't use something that won't even start.

Would like to see a search bar for players of a specific game, so it will show groups but u can untick it so it doesn't show groups and only shows players in all of the data base but with a filter that you can choose the age of the person, how much experience they have and how active they are

I liked the app a lot before the big update. now the UI is just cluttered with stuff that I don't care for. it also doesn't help that it reset the games on your list, and only shows a certain number of game requests based on when they were posted. All I see is bo4 stuff. While I play the game, I want to find other people to play other games with.

I mean I'm pretty new, but hey it's pretty good so far. Out of all the "chatting" apps I used the people seem to be nicer on this platform. I wish there were more games on the list though. Idk how you guys have remnant from the ashes, but you don't have WWZ, not to mention some of the games like Need for speed rivals is available for PS4 but the app doesn't give the option... I get its hard to keep up with every game & probably takes a lot of time, just consider adding more/fixing games please.

New layout is clunky and slow. When you open message notifications it doesn't bring you to the message, only to the one screen. Takes like 5 clicks to get to trade messages. Unnecessary. Also glitches when accepting incoming friend requests. Please make this app more streamlined.

This app is helpful, but has its fair share of issues. 1. When you try to change your name, it does not work whatsoever. I also had problems with changing my PFP but that one worked over time. 2. Deleting posts does not work. It stays on a screen with a very long red buttton with a loading symbol and a cancel button. I've waited for around 15 minutes and there was no progress on getting my post deleted.

This app is certainly 100% better than Plink as it is not blocked by a paid subscription and provides everything needed to find and play with others. (Even if it is sometimes hard to find a party) At least I don't need to pay to search for people to play with. Thank you GamerLink for staying free!

Been using this app for a little over a year and it was really good then. But they fail to add any new games and fail to add alot of multiplayer games. Battlefield 2042 doesn't even have a lfg page, same with ghost of Tsushima, ghost recon breakpoint, deep rock galactic, ect. They only have the top popular games. They've added mobile games for whatever reason but not the majority of console and PC games. This lfg app is slowly going downhill with the lack of lfg pages they offer.

Really like what you guys are trying to do with this app. It would be a great improvement to adopt Instagram's or ifunnys way of liking a post. The system put in place is nice, you can express yourself in different ways, but its quality over convenience. People usually would rather have convenience over quality.

It's very slow. Whenever I close my phone with gamerlink active and open it again it just loads stuff for 10 seconds and it's really laggy and you have to tap the buttons 10 times for them to register. When I start up the app, it takes annoyingly long to load the actual app (8 seconds or more) I can load Rocket League faster than an app that's basically a tinder for gamers. Tinder probably loads faster, is quicker and more user friendly. Fix the responsiveness, fix the loading times and fix lag.

It's a good app, my I ly problem is that groups you join or create won't delete when you want them out of your inbox/messages. It definitely gives you the option to delete or archive and deleting will show you it disappearing only to come back after a quick refresh of the page or reloading the app. It's really frustrating to have all these groups on my messages that I'm no longer apart of. If a dev or a team member of the app sees this please bring word to fix that issue.

this app used to be minimalistic and simple app to use where i would find a gamer who wanted to play with me on short notice. Now its just a cluster of a mess with too many tabs and a laggy interface certainly does not help. Also badges were removed which was kinda sad since it was fun collecting them. Overall it's a shame how bad this app has become and i will be uninstalling after 2 years of owning this app.
