GameTree – #1 Gamer Discovery Network LFG

This app so far has been cool, people are chatting and hanging out but the messaging side of it is kinda clunky and slow as hell. You can't write more then one sentence before it stalls and either crashes or stops typing, forcing you to close the app and restart it. This needs serious fixing and I would bump it up to 4 stars. The xp grind to raise levels in here is also weird and hard to understand.

After spending a great deal of time interacting with people and being very active on the site I can say that most people on here aren't very active or seem to participate much in the apps purpose. There's still a few friendly people actually looking to game but you have to sift through the people who don't like interaction on the site for some reason. Its a good app but needs more people to make it worth while as there are very few willing to game or talk.

Well, this is coming from my point of view and experience. I have met some really good people on this app. Just today I connected with someone from Russia and we played Overwatch for about three hours. Mind you, I'm all the way in the United States. It was very chill and relaxing. My main discord group also came from this app. Very kind and amazing people all of them. I can't pay for membership now but will very soon. It's definitely worth it.

I love this app and I think it's a great concept. There are some downfalls as with every app, for example, you do have to weed through the scam bots. I think if more people decided to get on here and actually get involved and active, I think it wouldn't be nearly as bad of an issue. With proper advertising, and a few more updates, I think this app could have a bright future

Great app, I wasn't so sure it'd yield any results but I actually did get to find plenty of nice people to play various games with :D The only negative point would be that I don't always get notifications from pms, but that's it.

Used it for Game Recommendation, Does not work as advertised even after Profile Complition and Rating more than 20 or so games, it shows nothing on recommendation area. Game Search is buggy and lots of popular games are missing from database. Also email verification is broken. Waste of time.

Great app, could work on the messaging function a bit but overall really easy to use and a great tool to use if you have social anxiety like I do. :)

Very good app to make new friends, can be complicated in the beginning and it is a bit different from PC to mobile Wich can be confusing, but is the best idea someone could ever come up with

I just got the app, and I like the general structure of it so far. Ive been playing around with the game recommendations and personality tests, and I've noticed that the slider registration is screwy. Sometimes the app won't register that I'm moving my finger up and down. The personality tests, while interesting, are progressing rather poorly. It will be stuck on a question despite the fact that I've answered, and trying to pick up where I left off after leaving the quiz has been hit or miss.

Recently wrote this review about a problem I had and the problem was fixed soon after. The app is now smooth, easy to understand and great for finding people. You can filter for specifics such as game, platform, country/distance, and even gender. Highly recommend if you just looking to make some new friends. Everyone I've met has been very friendly so far.

3 stars for the niche this app provides for, but beyond that, I haven't seen any noticeable UI improvements in the past year. Notifications still don't take you to the mentioned content—a feature that's been available on Android for years now, interface still feels extremely cheap, location-based matchmaking is still horribly off, and there've been 0 updates put towards improving player matching in general. Feels like a do-once-and-done kind of app.

GameTree is a great, friendly community app to make friends on, as well as finding other gamers to play with similar interests, locally and globally. The Personality Test helps explain what kind of gamer you are and to other gamers, so others can look at what kind of personality you have, but is optional to do. I like the idea a lot. The messaging system works well, but at times it can slow down the phone of a sudden. Overall, I definitely recommend GameTree to find new gaming friends.

So this app is a mixed bag. On one hand it's a great tool for finding people who wanna play games with you right now. On the other hand it seems to have some weird issues that pop up every so often. Nothing that's completely ruined the experience, although I will say putting the dark theme behind a level is mean. Overall it's a solid 3 star experience.

The "Next" button when setting up a profile at the beginning, is located partially under the selfie camera for my Samsung Galaxy S10. This makes it hard and sometimes impossible to click next without having the notification tab come down at the top of my phone. I couldn't even finish setting up my account. Please fix. Update: Fixed. Thank you!

This has to be one of the worst experiences I've had from an app on this store. From forcing you to rate certain games low for no reason at all, to literally having to scroll ONE MONTH AT A TIME BACK FROM PRESENT DAY TO REACH YOUR BIRTHDAY, I cannot imagine an app with a worse user interface. Once you add a game to a list, it's there forever. No amount of clicking 'remove' will successfully take it off your list. And you can't even choose which list to put it on in the first place!

I used to love this app, but can't use it anymore after finally figuring out which account/email I used to sign in. Once you delete your account, you can't re-sign in with that same service or email. Even if it hasn't been that long. The app itself isn't too bad but could use some polishing. Even if you set filters to meet people close to you, somehow, someone from across the world will pop up in your list.

Overall it's a nice app to chat with other fellow gamers and you get to pick between which games you want to search through to find people. I mean it's not perfect theirs always going to be some bugs or glitches with an app. myself my messages dont always load up in order if I get a new one and it doesnt refresh unless you close out the entire app and restart it. but overall it's worth

This is a great app for meeting people that play the same games as you. One thing that does keep it from a 5 star review however is the limited filter. There are set times since last login, being currently online, 5 days ago, etc, but the most notable is the inability to filter by console. It would be so much easier if you could, for example, filter only people that have ps4, but obviously this would apply to all consoles

Excellent app, it has some amazing features like a level system, finding people in the same country/language you have different options on how to search for people, theres also a feature to create posts to find players to play games with etc. Overall its a great app highly recommend, its also free so you've got nothing to loose if you give it a chance.

Just re-download the app resantly and I am unable to make a new account as I deleted my old one. Yet my email is still activated? so I try forgot password and get a email that tells me to click link to verify account, and now the app just crashes every time I try to open it.

Great app. I love that their are no pay walls. I would not mind some non intrusive adds for the quality of this app. It would be worth it. Great app and I hope you keep it this great.

Does as it says on the tin to a magnificent level. I made friends on the app and I also made friends on a discord which was sent to me on the app. It works very well and it works! I've had no issues with the app whatsoever. I've had 2 bots in my entire time of using; but that is to be expected within any app, I contacted INFINITE SPRINT and they were banned. Quick and effective with good communication. I 100% recommend this app if you are looking for someone to play games with. :)

Love this app, I've met such great people, most of the time I use it on my pc and it works great

The app overall has some good features, such as the game rating system. All of the games it's recommended so far have been perfect. Although on the flip side I believe the friends portion of the app needs more work. Currently they have you message a person to send a friend request which to me feels too much like Bumble. The issue also stems that the people with matches you with only matches you based on the games you play and not your personality if this is fine tuned then the app would be 5/5

Honestly iv been looking for a way to get ppl to play coop campaigns with me and this is the best way so far! No more looking for people and then get to know them to then set a time that works for both and all this things that have to align... Just set the game and time that you will be playing and open q session, people will show up and you get matches based on your gamer personality! Very cool. Negative things are some text showing up wrong and not saving changes.

I can't even give the app a second chance. Tried to create an account again, it says an account with my email already exists. Tried to log-in and it says my account has been deleted (which is true, I deleted it months ago). The rating I gave was 2 stars, but you get knocked down to 1. Clearly your app is still trash and has an insane amount of glitches. Waste of time.
