Gangstar Rio: City of Saints

I've been waiting for a chance to play the game since it's release back in 2011. It's a good game don't get me wrong, only 2 things I don't like, the controls and car options. Driving at first it's a challenge, including riding a bike. The aircraft controls are a bit of a headache, so those are my complaints otherwise awesome graphics and storytelling.

This game is pretty good in terms of storyline I love the Brazilian vibe to it and it kinda makes it feel like a gta game, the controls feels very smooth and it makes walking and driving fun at times however the mission design is kinda simple and hard at the same time but if one thing I wish to change in this game is the plane controls its frustrating you always end up getting blown up out of nowhere even when you hit the smallest things overall its decent.

Awesome game. Had it on my iPad as a kid, and now replaying it, it's still great. The only problem I have is the motion controls, they aren't updated for newer devices, and there isn't mission replay with story mode... But other than that it's still a great game, the voice acting is funny and so is the writing.

Nice open world city game in Rio. Despite the scaled size, the game still has good gameplay. The world feels a little empty compared to other open world games released at the time. The cut scenes are stunning and have barely been dated to this day. Nice selection of vehicles to drive.

The game is really ahead of its time. There are a lot of issues on modern day devices but most can be fixed with little settings tweaks. The story is short and there are some plot holes but the driving mechanics in this game is superior than the newer Gangstar games.

I really like this game. I played gangstar vegas beforehand which is free but i ended up spending a lot on in game purchases bc i liked it so much which was what made me so willing to buy this game. Only complaints are i wish it were an option to have directional buttons for steering and also the graphics could be a lot better. Gangstar vegas had much better graphics than this so i was a little let down on that aspect but still love this game!

The game always crashes when I am just driving or walking in certain parts of the map. The devs really need to fix this. It makes the game pretty much unplayable if it's always crashing in certain parts of the city.

I personally think this is the best game ever, just love to hate it, for the time spent playing it. Hours nay whole days can disappear into this highly enjoyable game. There's no adverts and no pressure to spend real money in order to progress through this immensely entertaining gameplay. Missions are cool, however going on mad random killing sprees is good time killing fun! 😉

A pretty solid title. Though I had to drag my finger up from the bottom of my phone and use the back arrow of that little menu to calibrate Gyro controls since the Ok button was offscreen I wish Gameloft would re-release more of their older titles.

So just started the game i like the cartoon style defo like GTA and love the graphics are great like how random stuff goes on love how you have to train your driving shotting and strenth my only problem is that when your being shot out you die quick but then again like i said im only at the beginning but loads to do and find and raceing and other stuff hope there be updates such a great game and for the price i have no problems thanks for making a game like this same as Vegas.

I bought this game to have a change from gangster vegas and new Orleans in some sense gangster Rio has better details then gangster veges like the slo mo's when you jump off a high cliff ramp and better parkour with roof jumps but overal this game was designed verry poorly with a lack of vehicles like in the airport there's no airplanes only in the army base . The map is super small I was verry unhappy about that especally when I purchased the app . Please expand the map and add more vehicles

I am given a star cos after purchasing it I cant have it running on my honor 8x. So I do wonder what else you guys want from me to use the app on my device. Check up my device and you'll see it has all the requirements. So why on Earth can't I get it working on my phone? I had it on an old device sometime in 2012. I wonder what is different now. It will download the app and start with the resources and then stop Midway after almost exhausting my hard earned data.

Far superior than vegas & new Orleans ! Only problem is with the bike control , it tends to be a helicopter everytime you ride it ! Anyways the story & emotions, you can easily connect with that ,. similar to GTA San&Reas but obviously inferior to that. Besides story missions, you have various other jobs to perform,which are entertaining. Worth the money. Addictive. Overall, GREAT !

Not the same as when it first came out, still I really liked the game, would like to see small car customization options and better npc action

Very Nice. I definitely can say that this is even better than Gangstar Vegas. You may think the graphic is low. But the game is awesome 😎😎

Is about the plane control special landing.. it only tilt can you add direction button to it. I think that would be easy to control It have to be like other GTA games

Can't fly when you can't see the screen your calibration is horrible and if I try to recalibrate to the way I hold my phone it doesn't work so how can I finish the game when I can't fly better plane controls are needed

Bad controller in driving... Not good at all the people in game walking in street but the hulf body under ground.. The graphics standers no control. I won't to back my money..

No updates since 2019... it's like once we buy to a certain DEVCO predetermined point they just STOP updating & seemingly abandon their game's; it's a premium/pay up front .apk.. idk but seems shiesty

Vehicle controls are bad. They should add like actual directional buttons instead of a sliding/steering wheel.

Look all I have to say is that the game would be awesome if I was able to use my controller on the phone like I could with Gangstar Vegas I am so disappointed I paid for this and I'm not able to use my gamepad please please please please please fix this in the updates I don't get how Gangstar Vegas has the ability to use it but this one does not Rio is so much better so much more realistic what an excellent game but I mean if you make people pay for it let them use the controller

It's so awesome but the controls don't even look like regular controls it's hard to explain. And it is offline but internet required to start because it has to check lisence

This ain't the game for you if you play any of the GTA series. The reason I say that is because literally this is a downsized version of them all. In my opinion it is better though because I can play it while my mom takes over the living room TV. I am obsessed with this game and don't think it will be on the Delete list for stuff on my phone.

App keep crashing recently. I don't know why but whenever I try to play "tank goodness" mission, it doesn't move beyond 10 metres before crashing.
