every time i try to move the tasks up and down in the list the app stops working. the arrows does nothing and the "check" button does not exit the move-mode. have to exit app without saving every time, very annoying. And why is there no button that automatically sorts the tasks ? there should be several ways to sort the tasks like start date, end date, alphabetical etc
Seems ok. Biggest bugbear at the moment for me is that I am unable to move tasks on Moto G8+ running Android 10. Highlighting task reveals move option. Pressing the move option reveals move arrows. Pressing move arrows do nothing. Would consider getting pro if fixed.
I have installed the app on my laptop and it doesn't even have the simplest features like sync option to your Android app, besides visually it looks terrible on my mobile phone. Totally disappointed with the app.
The duration of a task limited to single and multiple days. No hourly breakdowns.
does not work at all on my device. Simply hangs when you try to move anything
installed it, crashed twice, uninstalled it
Not working. Not opening my GanttProject files.
very good and simple to use
Moving doesn't work
Tks, it's good. But i can't move item
Good app. Keep it up
works well, nice job, On galaxy note 9 the move option does not work + also makes the checkmark non- responsive. If project was still being maintained would upgrade to support developers.
Unable to move items (crashes). No autosave a problem. Lost work today. Must find another app.
It helped me alot when no other app did.
The app developer does not respond to questions...
Simple,excellent tool, thanks.
Only contact sharing is of concern
Actual Gantt feature works great, only complaints are no portrait mode, always forces to landscape. Also, I'm totally for other languages, but if 98% (guess) of your users will commonly understand English, there'll be better success if you use that for your example template and app photos.
I am so excited that I found a mobile Gantt chart app that is free. However, there are a few things I would like to see. First, I think that there should be a start-start predecessor option so that you can link multiple tasks under a larger task (eg. Project might be building a house, task might be building foundation, and subtask might be ordering the concrete.) Also there's a weird bug: when I zoom in on tasks in a project, I lose the ability to see individual days and I can't get it back from month view.
Tried opening a project from GanttProject which incudles rubber(dashed) dependencies (finish-start), but this app changes the dates and puts the dependent task immediately after the predecessor task. For example, task A finishes in June and task B is dependent on task A, but it will occur in November. GanttMan forces task B to go to June despite selecting rubber (dashed) dependency. Any ideas on how to fix this?
1. Allowing flexibility on start date for task after predecessor has completed without entering delay. Sometimes the delay is not required, so I don't want to add a delay, but the task won't start immediately. 2. Allow resources to have constraints. Sometimes the resource is not capable of multitasking. So I need to know that I have double booked someone's time. Others can multitask, would like the option, per resource, to allow overlapping tasks or restrict it.
It was supposed to be exactly what I need, until I realize that it can not move a pre-existing task into another task (i.e. make it a sub-task under other task). Oh by the way, trying to open existing files always crashes the app. Now it is completely useless!
Very functional. My only confusions are why predecessors often force delays (not related to non-work days), and why I cannot set a task start date before today.
It does not connect to Dropbox and the author doesnt respond to email contact. Enough said, moving away from it.
Only complaint is that it cannot export the charts graphically. Recipients need to have the same apps which I think is fair. Otherwise this is easy to use.
Crashes often...No auto backup, lost 1 hours work when crashed. Warning to others to save after each entry. Otherwise ok. Probably uprate after auto save option are included.
Gantt charts are easy to create and update, Simple and intuitive user interface, if u have used Microsoft Project this app will fit you right.
Dates on gantt chart either too close together, or shows month only. Galaxy Note 7 - Android v6.0.1
Seems like decent, functional app EXCEPT that it crashes any time I try to move/reorder an element, and there's no autodéfense, so you lose everything you've done since your last save. I'd rather not have the move function than try to use it and lose my work. This has been a complaint for 4 years! Why not fix it, and get 5 stars?
