Worst. App. Ever. Sooooooo slow, even though I'm connected to wifi. I was on this app for 20 minutes, trying to buy some pants before I left for work. It's slow, it won't "take" my selections in a timely manner and I never was able to narrow down my search to find what I was looking for. Not sure what the point is of having an app for your phone, when it's just as much of a pain to use their website. Seriously bad.
Needs a lot of improvement, the page fails a lot and refresh by itself the costumer service is awful nobody answer the calls, emails, social media for refunds. They have cancel some of my orders without giving me a refund and also problems to apply promotions, you can select products that are display but then says sold-out. The products are good just as in the store, sizes as describe in the chart. So I recommend to better go to the store and you will save time trying to get your packeges.
Gap's app is awful. Slow and not user friendly and doesn't function when traffic must be high in the last few hours of a promotion/sale. In need of a serious overhaul. It has been this way for years now. Sales would definitely increase if they fixed it. I know I've given up on orders several times.
2 stars bc slightly less annoying than the mobile site. So obnoxious how I have to log in like 6 times every time I use the app. 1 time when I download it should be sufficient. And then every time I try to print out a return label, there's an error. Every single time. For MONTHS. Sketchy af for no reason. 12/11 updating to 1 star bc the app shuts down when I try to submit a review.
I love that all their stores are on one app. The outlets are there but you can't check out a gap outlet transaction with the other stores. All gap brands can check out together in one transaction. The outlets are an exclusive transaction so extra shipping. The deals are abundant. Easy to navigate. Weirdly when you open the app you are never signed in and are only prompted to sign in if you want to see your rewards. Email, chat, calling a rep will never get a response. Gap reps don't exist.
The app is good for shopping but its a little slow. The filters take a bit too long to respond. You should offer the capability of disabling some of the other stores if the user is not interested. That might improve performance.
Freezes, selections take multiple clicks to select, scroll is on a delay, not user friendly at all. Love GAP and would spend money using the app, but it is completely non-functional, so I won't make purchases. Get it together, GAP. How will you stay relevant in a changing retail environment if you do not have an app that at least functions at the most basic level?
What a shame! Just when I thought Kohl's app was the worst. Basically, nothing works and there's always a delay after selecting. The delay is random as well - sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes 10. When I press the back button on android, the app abruptly exits, that too imtetmittently. These issues aren't new but assumed they'd be fixed at some point since Gap is a 15 billion $ company, but probably not. Gap, if you're listening, please fix your app after thoroughly testing on all platforms.
Is kinda slow. Also, really need to add 'previous page' Back button, or allow the phone's to be used (Pixel 2). If you are viewing a product, you can't even go back to the category or search, you have to start all over.
Always an awful experience navigating this app! I never write app reviews, but this is extreme. I have been trying to use this app for years now. I always give it another chance lol because I love Gap/ON/Athleta!! But the app freezes: 7/10 uses, crashes: 4/10 uses, and responds incorrectly (doesn't go back when I tap back; search bar does not appear when I tap search, etc) 8/10 uses.
What Customer Service? FAIL!!! It's a false advertisement. To put a customer support link on the web that leads to no response is not only frustrating but unacceptable. Can't speak to someone on the phone, can't chat on the web or even send an email. Not even sure if this message will go through either. But they're fast in charging your account. ZERO star!
Hard to navigate, prone to freezing, weird permissions, and buggy. I'd much rather shop on the website (though that has its own share of issues). What a waste.
I love Gap clothes and wish I could shop online for them, cause there's no brick and mortar store near me. But this app is so poor it is actually unusable. Super slow. Impossible to scroll without clicking on a million things you didn't mean to. Very difficult to simply browse. Gap, please fix your app so I can buy your clothes again!
As everyone says, it keeps crashing. It's been doing this for weeks. I end up giving up or ordering less due to inability to browse and read reviews for sizing.
Used to be able to access manage my credit card as well as shop but now it just glitches and restarts the home page. What good is a shopping app if i have to go online to check my card status, rewards, and make payments? Should be all in one. Fix this Gap and i will reinstall.
Very annoying, every single time you log in it's invalid user id, and when you request to find id your stock in that screen. Every single time you have to input your card number, very slow. Will uninstall app and close the card.
This app is totally useless and very slow. Scanning barcodes at the store doesn't work at all. It's just a copy of their website that's much worse. Gap, hire Target app developers!
Fix the glitches GAP! I try use the app to make my credit card payments and it freezes or closes down on its own in the middle of my transaction! Its incredibly annoying and frustrating!
The Gap app for Android is the worst I've ever had the displeasure to use. It never works. Tap a button and it doesn't respond. There are plenty of other shopping options on the Internet. No reason to waste your time with this ill-conceived junk. What were their lazy developers thinking?
Really useful app for online shopping,, can select and order whatever you want whatever you like instead of looking for a store nearby.
App kept crashing. Had discounts on the app and not on the website. I thought that was cool but kept freezing the page when I was browsing
I have this app to pay my bills, I hate that I am forced to go to your website to get to my pay bill. It is to many steps to get to the bill pay part. I don't use this credit card that much because of this.
I have delete and reinstall this app all the time. It runs so slowly and often just completely stops working.
this app is extremely buggy; it has issues loading regardless of connection and trying to back out of viewing items.
I was hoping I would be able to store my Gap Cash in the app like I can with the Kohl's app. But no. You have to get their credit card in order to do that. Ugh! No way
Worst app I've ever used! Just horrible. Very very very slow. So frustrating that I just go to the website. Something is very wrong.
I've had this app on both Android and Apple phones (with different carriers for both as well) since it's beginning (2011). Not once have I NOT had an issue. It's unreliable. It's extremely rare that I can get to the page I want much less make a payment on my card. For the the love of all things holy, can you please make this app run smoothly just once? It's been almost 10 years now.
