You have to pay to apply a filter just to see people in your area. I'm not going to waste time on an app that's going to show me people hours away. The point is to meet people. Not make pen pals. Find another way to offer an upgraded experience, because matching in your area should be a default feature. You can't even send a message unless you upgrade. Deleting this app.
Seems like a good concept. I like the UI. Definitely don't like that you have to pay to talk to someone if you haven't matched. But the worst thing about this app, the thing that absolutely kills it, is that even when you match your messages won't go through. They just load endlessly and then fail to send. So you can't actually talk to anyone on the app, making it completely useless. Needs to be fixed asap.
I really like what you’ve done with the new format. Much easier to navigate. Minus the fact when your scrolling downward looking through pictures you put the right in the middle, so I’m constantly super liking people I didn’t mean to. That’s not cool because to me it’s like throwing money out the window. I understand why you did it tho. Probably boosts income significantly!
Ok, tons about this app that i dont like. First is the 'verification' process. Four fresh photos and every one of them come back fail. BUT, if i PAY for membership, I am 'verified' via my use of financials. Second is the inability to see anything about the people that liked you, but you send me annoying notifications about each and every one of them... 'say hi!'... Lastly is that when i go thru my list of ppl based on my search parameters... yes,no,no,yes... the no's dont go away!
I really wanted to give this app a good report, despite paying my subs, I have not been able to message a single person on the app. (My devices are not the problem) I tried contacting customer support and have not even recieved a response. Save your money - go elsewhere! Despite the message underneath and my evidencing with photos that I can not reply to or message anyone. I have recieved any reply or help. They have taken my money and ran, poor customer service.
I have tried at least 3 of these apps, and Gaper has proven to be the best so far. No silly count-down clock for responses (people have busy lives/push notifications off, after all), and both men & women can initiate. The icebreaker comments and questions really help suss out who will be a conversationalist vs those there to look. In the end, great design. Well done!
False advertising It says you can message people for free if you match but then when I matched and try to message it takes you to the payment page.. when it told me it was a match. The app is glitchy in general and there's no way of knowing if people are real or not.. I got verified and it said I was approved but then later it said I wasn't verified.. When I try to change the age preference the buttons get stuck and you can't change it. What a stupid app.. had it for 2 hours and I'm done
Very new to this platform So far so good, I like the UI but I feel it would be a lot better if one was able to leave a little information about themselves what they are look for. Other than that, it's OK. I can't get a full sense of how the platform is, because one has to pay membership. I feel this app would do a lot better if you had a free trial right from the start. I will update this review and do a video in the future.
Lacking. No profile info, just photos, so rather shallow! No way to sort by distance, age, or other factors. No way to limit or remove unwanted likes, stop seeing people you don't want to contact, or tell who (if anyone) is new to your area. All in all, a poorly executed app, though it has potential.
The app is useless. I subscribed on November 2nd and got to use it for about a week with all its functionality. Then suddenly the connections feature shut down and I can't contact any of the girls who expressed an interest in me, and I get the upgrade screen asking for money. Customer service is worthless as I've contacted them about three or four times to get this fixed and they have not responded.
