Woooow! Must be the easiest gadget to set up. Connected to wifi via the app easily. Googled quickly how to connect to Liftmaster, found a solution on the first forum , plugged in the two pins and hit the garage door button and surprisingly enough the garage door open right away. Finally something that works right away with no hassle. I must also add that Denis G. at gardget customer support was very helpful and took care of a special request and followed up all the way. Great app and product!
Works great to open/ close the door. Needs log of activity for last day to see when the door was used. I try to rely on the time closed status in the app, but for the past few weeks it always says 5h - even if I just closed the door.
what a piece of junk and I purchased 6 of them... I need some written instructions and an idea of what password you re looking for st any given time would be nice.
Love this device and the app. My garage is now smart and if I am ever unsure if the garage is open or closed I can check from anywhere. Love the IFTTT and Alexa integration
Have been using this for 2 years. Works well. Occasional hiccups here and there but overall i still like having it.
I love this app! Support has been good, features work as expected and provide me peace of mind.
The application shows offline status the door while you login to the webgui and shows online status.... it is really annoying you believe your door is not working....
Useless if the app will not function. I can't even set it up, app keeps failing!
i dont get any alert even though the alerts are on and the app notifications are allowed.
Was working, now can't connect to server. Tried both home wifi and a t-mobile connection.
App no longer giving open/closed alerts even though alerts are enabled.
Please fix the "Parse error" pop-up when opening the app
I can't open a new account. It's shows "customer already exists". I'm first time using this app, how can already exists 😳 😑. 😡
Works well, even has google home integration via IFTTT.
Very buggy, unit is on line half the time
When you upload the exact same app to white wash the bad press because your customer service you are officially a con man. Congrats.
the alerts no longer appear.
Great app love that I can control my garage door from anywhere
small issues but overall good
Nice when it works--which is less than 50% of the time.
WiFi network change is a pain in the "app"
After 2 years, same problem. Every Few months it kicks me out and I fight with the login., my creds dont work, password reset does'nt work because the email is not on record but i can't make a new account because my email exists. In a day or two the same creds i was trying work again.
Everything was good for about 3 days and the notifications stopped working. I could still open, close, and check the status of the door, but no notifications. Also, its showing up as the highest consumer of my battery. I was able to get IFTTT integration to work with the help of forum posts. Forum has good ideas for app and product improvements, too. Almost there. 5 stars when bugs are resolved.
Been using garadget and the app for several years. No problems at all. I mounted it on the ceiling of my garage and NOT on the garage opener. And don't use the double sided sticky tape. Screw it down so it won't move at all. Since the laser has to point precisely at the reflective label, you want the unit to be mounted on something that doesn't move or vibrate. An alternative is to buy a roll of the same type of reflective tape and make the laser target larger. Amazon sells this tape. In the 4 or 5 years I've owned my garadget, I've only had 2 times where I needed to login again. Don't know why it logged me out. I've never had false notifications. I thought notifications didn't work at first, but apparently if you are using the app you won't get the notifications because you are already seeing if the garage is open or closed in the app. If you are not in the app then you will get notifications. The only thing that I recommend is to make the open/close button smaller so that I don't accidentally press it when all I want to do is check the status.
