Garage Buddy can handle the simple stuff too, like converting metric to standard. There are conversions for Speed, Distance, Volume, Torque, Weight, and Pressure.
There's also a helpful notes section, where you can record important information for each of your cars, such as spark plug gap, part numbers, oil weights, etc. This is super handy to have with you when you go to the parts store.

I always go back to this app. It's been the most used longest installed app on my phone.
I work in a tire shop and for years has been great for playing around with tire sizes

No British imp threads for tap drill sizes :( and would be nice to set metric as standard but apart from that ok
While the app claims it work with all units, it uses internally only imperial system. A good example of bad programming.
Tire size calculator doesn't display selected rim diameter. Belt size calculator doesn't appear to work correctly either. Using a Note 3 with Kit Kat.
This is the best application for cars I have ever used the free version isn't bad ads don't get in the way and there isn't anything you can't get to
Alot of the interface isnt right or cant read. Resets calculations on screen rotation. Not worth paying for.
This is the best out there. I work on my own car and this will help me out alot. Tons of features! Very usefull - highly recomend 10/10
The tool conversion was missing the 3/8 and the belt size calculator would not show the pulley or distance entries other than the first one entered I didn't need to go on any further with the program I give this one star only because it needs a lot of work even though it is a free program
3/8 and 13/16 missing from the tool guide, and some are out of order. But mostly I use it for displacement and gearing.
Metric course and fine threads are swapped. Unit conversion not as good as others
Works perfect on evo, very smooth lay out and cool tools, best tool for gear heads ...will purchase pro
Aside from the numerous suggestions below which I agree with; This is excellent and worth paying for the pro version. I was surprised the Free version gave as much as it does. Everything on it worked perfectly on a Samsung Replenish.
HTC Rezound. I use this all the time, somewhat limited but very handy.

Tap sizes miscategorized (10mm x 1.25 is in course thread category) but great app otherwise!

This is a great application saves me lots of time & effort when looking things up like tapping drill size for threads. Also when look a metal gauge thickness, or wire gauge size. This is like a Swiss army knife for engineers !!!
