Google pixel 2. I can load the app but I cannot get it to open, after terrible response from manufacturer. I do have the module. System was working fine. Now when I try to open the app it just stays to open then guess back to Google home screen. I can't open the app anymore. I've paid for a year of service that I can't use.
Samsung galaxy s10-5g. After recent software update from Samsung now unable to open app. Have un installed rebooted and reinstall and still have save issue. Android 11. Someone needs to respond on how long this will take before release of newer version.
Been using GarageSmart device/app four months for secure access to my vacation rental house by Guests with unique codes. It's gr8 I can set up future guests and leave them inactive until check-in day & nice to set expiration dates for their check out date, but it's inconvenient to login through browser to use admin app. Guests able to self-configure app using my screenshots. Initial setup/config of the hdwr device on my network was a 1 star experience; hours of fail/reset/repeat as others said.
I have a Samsung S20 with the latest version of the Android operating system and this app won't open, keeps crashing...even if I uninstall and reinstall... Have tried this multiple times.
I have a Galaxy S10 which just upgraded to Android 11. When will GarageSmart work with this version of Android 11??

It won't open. It say not compatible with this device. It should detect that BEFORE installing1

This is rubbish, not worth having
Works Super!! Had this unit for several (4 or 5) and it has been a great unit. However, recently the app no longer works on our Samsung cellphone. We will be getting a cellphone soon and will see how that one works. I have also tried the new test app and it does not work either. Comments??
Not the easiest to setup and install, but it works good when finished. You need to have admin access to your router and be comfortable assigning static IP to device, and setup port forwarding. Customer service is pretty good.
Won't let me move any further without device ID
Note 8 and S8+ worked great until this morning when it's crashing. Restart doesn't help. Bummer.
Download the app and there was no directions with it could not figure out how to get it to work on my garage door
What's really good
Pixel 3XL user here on the latest version of Android 12. This is a genuinely terrible app. It's been buggy, has crashed frequently, and now it's stopped working all together. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted my phone, cleared the cache, everything. Just gets stuck on the logo and doesn't load. Dev team over here really needs to get their act together. Update: Managed to get it working again by installing their beta app.
