Here are the nuts and bolts:
You can browse through the comic strips by touching the Previous or Next navigation buttons or by touching either side of the comic strip. Resize the comic strip by tapping or pinching. So simple even Odie can do it!
Like Garfield, this app is prone to nap attacks. After about 10 seconds of inactivity, the navigation, title, and toolbar will fade away. To bring them back, touch the middle of the comic strip. Touch again to have them disappear. Don’t worry — you can still change comics by touching the edges.
Have a special day in mind? Select any date since the beginning of the comic strip and then touch Set to see that day's comic strip. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy!
Looking for a specific theme – like lasagna, lazy or lederhosen? Search strips by typing a keyword or theme and touching the Done button on the keyboard. Then you can navigate through that list of strips.
Do you like surprises? Touch the Random button to see any strip selected by Odie. You never know what treasure awaits you (please be aware of probable drool).
Wanna post a strip for all your Facebook friends to see? First you need to login to Facebook. Then, simply post the selected comic strip on your Facebook wall along with a typically brilliant comment.
Wanna share a strip with your BFF? Email the selected comic and add a comment. You can also go to the Settings Page to activate your preference to put a copy of the comic strip into your Saved Photos folder on your Android when you email the strip.
Can’t get enough Garfield? On the Information page there is a More Garfield button which brings you to Garfield’s website with lots of links and awesome info about the famous fat cat.

Was one of my favourite apps up until Fri 22 Nov 2019. Now I just keep getting a message saying the app has stopped. Looking at the last update date (2016) I think it just no longer works on android. Found another app to read the comic on but it's nowhere near as good. Developer, ease update.
It really brings back some very good old memories. I was born on 1980 and Garfield was already celebrating his 20 years of excellence. I am very fond of Garfield and had always wished to buy a comic. But instead Garfield daily allows me to take me back to all my good old days without carrying a huge yet beautiful collection of comics. Overall very good application.
It looks like the author of the app has stopped supporting it. The last time it was updated was 2016. Since the last android update its now no longer working 😭 and his contact email address is no longer valid.
I have been a daily reader of Garfield since I found this app several years ago now. For the past few weeks, it wouldnt open. I uninstalled it this morning and when I search for a Garfield comic, this app doesn't appear as an option.
Great app, love it and have been using it for years on different devices. I've been having trouble opening the app and couldn't find it through the store, had to go through settings to see if it needed an update. Is it no longer available?
Have used it for many years now. Suddenly stopped. Said it was for an older android. Cannot carry out an update. Very very sad and disappointed. Can anyone help me? Sent an email to support. Same returned 'no address found"
Used this app for a number of years, and it was great, but this week it crashes on every start. Re-installing does not solve this.
Comic appears very small and I have to expand. Section with Instructions, bio, etc does nothing when I click on them. Keeping for now, but very underwhelming.
great on my old phone, but my new one only shows the splash screen (odie falling off the wagon) and it never shows anything else. would give 5 stars if this could be fixed.
Won't let me in. Whenever I try to open the app, it stops working. I've tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it, but it still doesn't work. Please fix this!
This app is very useful for when you want to read Garfield, however I open it and then it crashes. This has been happening a lot lately, and I hope this will get fixed soon because this app is a great one to read Garfield with.
Favorite app on my phone for years. Always a new funny cartoon every day. Modern jokes to align with today's world however it remains classic to the core. BUT IT STOPPED WORKING TODAY AFTER ANDROIDS RECENT UPDATE AND NO FIX AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME! ugh...
Used to be Awesome.. But doesn't work anymore! Last update was 4 years ago, so probably abandoned.. Such a shame. 1 Star because it crashes on start..
Nice app and has the comics but would be five star from me if you could save where you were rather than having to manually return to that date when reading in order. please please please add this!:))
Cannot not give this app 5 stars. However it has a few bugs. But a Garfield comic every day on my phone. Even with a few bugs I'd give it 6 stars out of 5 if that was possible.
APP HAS STARTED CRASHING THIS PAST WEEK AND WILL NO LONGER OPEN This is a great app, but sadly has stopped working all of a sudden. I can see I'm not the only one experiencing this issue
I use this app daily and love it but it stopped working after the last Android update and they don't seem like they are going to fix it anytime soon. :(
Worked great until a few days ago. Now it just says there's no internet connection, whether I'm on wifi or data, and it wont let me use anything. I will put the review back to 5 stars once the app is fixed
Easily one of the best books of my child hood, was amazing and fun to read, teachers had to ban me to get me to read other books, and well it would have got 5 star but it doesn't work anymore.
App is not full size when opened, had no issue with it on previous phone but i still enjoy having the comic every day to read.
I just tried to open it and keep getting the "app keeps stopping" message. I've cleared cache, force stopped, uninstalled and reinstalled. It wont open. I've never had this problem before. Rating does not reflect my opinion of the app, it was just so I could post this.
