Garny - Preview Instagram feed

__ Normally I would give this app 4 stars, but Garny really likes to force people into 'checkmate mode' by blocking the entire User Experience with an unclosable pop-up (even in airplane mode!) when you tap a picture. And you have 3 choices: 1) accept "personalised ads" (we all know these are never relevant or privacy-safe in any way); 2) refuse personalised ads by paying; 3) close the entire app & relaunch it in order to make it work again. // Gonna look for consumer-friendlier alternatives.

Update: so excited to see it was supposed to work again but even with the paid subscription it won't link with my ig account. So disappointing... Started using this app last month and it has been amazing.. But now it won't log into my IG account and lost all the planned posts...

App is good I have been usiwit for years, but for some reason I don't see cover photos of my videos so it's frustrating because I don't have a clear picture how my Instagram really looks. Can it be fixed somehow?

For me, it's the best preview app so far, because I like the layout. I tried other apps, they can't provide the same easy-to-use service with putting the posts in the order you like. However, there are some technical errors: sometimes it messes up the order of the posts, or if I take too much time choosing the photo, the app just closes. Also, I'd like to be able to plan several accounts instead of one. I'm also very eager to get the long-promised feature to plan texts for the posts as well.

Decent app for previewing Instagram posts. However here are improvements that should be made. Ads: this feature of the app is almost a deal breaker. The non stop ads totally take away from the user experience. The redeeming quality is that you can get rid of them with the back button. Grouping: would like to see a feature were you can select multiple images and move them together.

A very user friendly app.. I just wish it would upload all of your Instagram pictures when you upgrade your plan tho. It's hard planning things out when you can't see all of your previous posts so you have to juggle between this and Instagram. Because it doesn't load all of them the layout format is different. It kind of defeats the purpose of using this app. I also wish there were a few more picture editing options. Otherwise it's a nice app and hopefully with some improvements itll be awesome

Three things that bug me: 1) It gets a bit frustrating when uploading photos onto the app. When I click the upload button, I don't want to see my latest photo automatically updated into my gallery. I want to browse through my albums and select what I want. stop uploading out automatically when that's not the photo i want to upload. 2) I would like to see the option of uploading a carousel. it lacks this feature 3) I cannot add any bio to my photos. says this feature is unavailable

I've been using this app for a long time, but it's recently become very buggy: some photos are disappearing from my planned feed and being replaced by gray squares.

Edit: They updated the app, it doesn't solve the login problem, and has created more problems. I can't even add new posts anymore. I was able to use it before it updated without seeing my feed.... But now it's completely useless. Uninstalled. Just stopped working. Won't let me login. Just shows an error message. Lost all the posts I had planned. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no luck. Was one of my favorite apps too 😭

Very promising app, also great that you can have two accounts in the free version. But there are two vital issues: 1) pictures/tiles not being removed from the preview grid after uploading them - very annoying having to delete them manually each time 2) not being able to upload multiple photos to one post (you can prepare the post but the photos will not be send to Instagram). Other ideas: would be great if the app would recognize hashtags in the caption, count them and tell you their "size".

Promising but not at all user friendly. After swapping two photos, they should automatically be deselected. But they don't. I have to deselect them, and then select new two photos to swap. This is not a user friendly. There's only one 'browse photos' view for adding new photos. Other apps like Snapseed, Lightroom allows me to browse through my choice of gallery/folder and select photos. This option is needed because I keep my gallery organized with folders.

I am having real issues with it, after a few weeks of using it logged me out and when I try to log back on it comes up with an app error message every time! I am paying for this app and using it for my business! I have tried everything, deleting and reinstalling, changing password etc, nothing seems to work.

Overall a great app, one thing that is really bothering me is once i post something, it opens duplicate in app and i have to erase my original post. I wouldn't have a problem with that unless i could see what i wrote, but in that case i can't. So i tried deleting the duplicate but it kept reappearing. Rally annoying. If you can give the option to stop this from happening it's a 5 starts from me.

The whole point of the app is to reorder and schedule posts. I will import, then schedule. If a few days later I decide to reorder, it will keep the schedule, therefore the photos will be posted in an order different to the one I specified. There should be an auto schedule feature, where I could choose the days of the week and times I want the next image to be posted, not a specific one.

Simple, easy and untuitive. It does the job you want with some surprise perks but also a few irks that keep it from being spectacular. You can plan the layout of your IG, it has reminders to post and will do the work transferring the picture and copying the text straight into a post making for easy and quick posting. It does not allow for features like 3:4 layout, making a multipost or erasing pictures you've already posted.

This app does exactly what it says. You can preview the pictures before uploading them. Make a feed that looks attractive and then post it. It's easy and quick. It do not take extra space or all those countless features that we hardly use. Thumbs up !

Trying to upload photos... not to Instagram, but to the app to plan my feed. It double or triple posts some, doesnt add others. As you add photos, some turn into a giant white box. I added about 15 and suddenly half vanished completely. They reordered themselves. This thing is terrible!

My Instagram looks much better now. 😊 Update: the pics are dragging by themselves. :/ its a bit annoying, it will be nice if you can fix this. Update: I add one photo, garny adds the same twice. Even the posts that are posted on Instagram are moving places. Oh god, gave this app to many chances, but no change. Sorry for being toxic but the app itself it gives me anxiety. :(

Iv been using this app for about 2months now. I only really need to use it to plan my feed and post photos straight from the app. I dont really need the notification features. Only downfall... There are so many ads!!so I paid for the app, but im still getting 1 of the same ad all the time. If this could be fixed that would be great!

Honestly, this app is amazing. Really easy to use and saves info from many different accounts, which is something other apps don't do. The only thing that could be amazing would be if they put the option to add multiple photos at once and not one by one.

I used this app for 2 years for my job and it was great and better than alot of apps, until the app login issue happened. I lost an entire months worth of content that took multiple days to create (that i now have to recreate). I wish that even if i couldnt see my current feed that i could have still had all my work accessible, and that this would have been an option created with the new update.

It just removed all my saved posts and photos. Switching to another planner having used this Garny for last two years. I have lost about 50-60 planned posts. How? Garny offered me the option to upload a photo for stories, which sounded good and then removed all my uploaded photos, hashtags etc. Probably because they were updating their payment plans. As someone who has issued them for years I was really disappointed. Have moved to Later which seems to have less ads on the free version too.

It's simple and easy to use. I just wish they had an option to save captions(I use my notes app)... Or manage multiple accounts. But it's beautiful and easy.

I Really like this app I genuinely do.. but I have only one major.. issue.. the add post option needs to be in the bottom right options thing only or.. somewhere else... its disrupts the whole 3 part visualising the feed.. if I can't view the feed and plan the aesthetics of it visually.. then what's the point of having the feed history over there at all.. then keep the add post there and delete what's posted.. sorry for the rant it annoys me makes no sense

too many ads but its currently okay. there are some bugs when i add the photos from another app, its a bit disturbing. but overall its a great app to organize the feed. and it has the schedule and caption section. even it can help us to post.

Great app. It is very helpful to see how my Instagram profile will look in 2, 3, 5... weeks. You can see what photos don't go well with the others and either edit them or throw them out. I also like that I can save batches of hashtags. Very helpful and saves time.

Up to date, I love it. Simple, easy to use, and free. Of course there is going to be ads (c'mon y'all 🙃), but I don't think that takes away from the tool. I moved over to Garny just bc I didn't want to invest unnecessary money on other insta planners (pay to post more per month) when there was one that worked with equal efficiency. My Instagram looks poppin bc of Garny 💗💗
