Gas Engineer Software

This app is great! After years of use for gas work i highly recommend. The app is simple, easy to use and well laid out. Over the years the bugs have been ironed out, to absolute zero! Which is great, However even when the bugs were present, you absolutly can-not fault the customer service ! On the ball is an understatement ! Cheers guys

Great app, however when I login online instead of the app, it doesn't have the postcode address finder which I believe should be integrated online as well as on the app!

Having spent years doing paperwork in the evenings and weekends I thought I'd give this a free try and see if it truly could free me up. Brilliant! I can achieve everything on-site. Initially it was taking a little longer to input the details but I know it will pay off in the long run having an electronic history of the jobs with full notes that only I can see if necessary. I started off purely using it to issue certificates but it can do so much more. Any queries I've had have been dealt with. Highly recommend.

Stunning app well worth the small monthly fee for what it does. Saves time and money. It is great for auto reminders for all your customers and keeps all the records. I would love if it synced with my TPI flue gas analyser which has Bluetooth functionality . Let's see what they come up with on the new updates. Also it would be nice to modernise the buttons within the app to make it feel a bit more clean and modern, other than these minor points it is very functional. Thanks Gas engineer Software.

Really useful to run the business. Really good tech support, quick and helpful. Thoroughly recommended. Only issue is the constant bugs. Random invoices merging amounts into other invoices, which takes alot of concentration to look out for these issues which have been occuring for 3 years. I have new android phones yearly so can't be a samsung issue. Having to uninstall and clear caches etc is a ball ache. With the massive price increase i now expect the software to run better. Please help!

I have used this App since the beginning. It is great for me as everything is covered for running my business. When I have any issues....usually my own incompetence...the staff are brilliant, very patient with me whilst sorting out every issue that has bothered me. £216 per year is for nothing for the benefits it offers. I would recommend to anyone especially those not too tech savvy.

Ok experience so far. Xero integration works well. I use the calendar, issue certs and invoices which is great. The problem is bugs: Invoice totals are now correct, but the gas rate calc is buggy, creating an invoice from the calendar and selecting new job asks for the name and address (which it already knows) and invoice total and amount outstanding sometimes don't match. It does save time; it was amazing when I first used it, but now with the price increase you need to raise your game.

Gas Engineer software is great for keeping records. I never had time to chase up outstanding invoices, now this is done automatically and for the first time in 11 years of trading I have no overdue invoices. That said there are a few small changes that could make it better, I have used support on a few occasions and they're very helpful and have made changes already. I linked my account to an accounting software app and I have experienced a few problems which I have overcome but not without a bit of a struggle, but this was the accounting app fault and not Gas Engineer. When entering new events on the calendar, you choose an Activity type from a drop down list giving the following options, meeting, call, to do, quote, installation, servicing, plumbing, reference, repairs, training, unconfirmed, business holidays, & employee holidays. It would be very helpful if this could be editable to re-order, delete or add more relevant options such as, Gas Safety Record, Gas work, Attend to.. Also when booking in a job on the calendar that lasts for more than a day it moves to the top of the calendar, it would be more helpful if it blocked out in the main body of the calendar as normal.

Generally been good till the new updates. On android app it has problems with data entering. Numerous phones calls didn't work and the only way to remove the problem was to delete the app and re-install it. Not great when you have a back log of data. However the online version is great and I can't recommend it enough. Once they sort out the bugs I would imagine it will get better.

Absolutely 100% value for money. Saves hours in admin time. My productivity has increased since using this app. Simplifies business admin and helps get you organised. The support team are brilliant as well, they always answer your calls and sort any glitches out tutoring you on how to use the app if you have difficulties. Having said that the app is very easy to use. I tried one of the competitor's apps before I found this one and this one is infinitely better. I wouldn't be without it.

Twice they've tried to implement an update, and twice it has failed miserably. Fails to sync, fails to login. Forced to uninstall the updated software and reinstall the old software yet again (losing any information created since the update). Wont answer the phone anymore. Theyre also stopping Xero integration soon. Abandon ship! I'm testing out other software as £40 a month for this is a joke.

when it works it's great but too many bugs, records get lost, emails to customer say sent and haven't. It makes you look unprofessional when your app says a quote or invoice or safety certificate has been sent but it hasn't. Seriously thinking about leaving this app only thing holding us back is the huge amount of admin required to start again with another app.

It's a great app to manage and invoice customers, creating different certificates without carrying bulky pads. All done within the app. However only annoyance is when syncing, it gets stuck at 7% every time then after a while of waiting it quickly goes to 100%. Why is that?

Great app. Has made my work a lot more efficient and my customers love the convenience of getting their certificates and reminder automatically. One suggestion though... When adding a new customer's details to the database it will be nice if there is the option of manually entering the address or just putting the post code and allowing the site to search for the related address and all we have to do is click on the relavant house number and the rest of the address will be populated automatically.

Being a computer duffer I can say I am very impressed with this app. It helps to reduce the paperwork and also massively speeds up the invoicing. The telephone support has been greatly appreciated in the early days! The help is both patient and authoritative. Go for it, in my opinion. .........

I had a very Bad experience with them, they do not do any conversation with the customer. If the customer get in touch with due to any problem with the aystem or invoice, they just remove or block you from the system. They don't care about your buisness , all what matters them is the money. I am using the app more then a year but now i am very disappioned from them.

Used to be a great system, but after they have updated it, although it looks better, it always has issues with syncing. Fed up of having to constantly reinstall to get it to work. How is that saving me time? Seriously considering moving to another system.

I wish i knew about this app 10 years ago! i have been able to save so much tedius time doing paperwork! i am able to send reports, certificates, invoices instantly from a job! It is extremely user friendly. Mike at the office is extremely helpful in explaining stuff and was absolutely amazing. he was so friendly and knowledgeable! Definately the reason i chose to trial the app for 30 days & then instantly purchasing. I have worked in the Industry for 10 years and this has revolutionised my work

Could be a good App. However the torch button in gas rate don't work on my Samsung A20e also the calendar won't show individual engineers e.g. filter by person. When adding a photo in certificates can take photo but don't get added to the certificate. Appliances don't show in unvented cylinders. The calendar is the most important thing to get sorted first!

It has brought our business into this century and reduced costs eg hard copy CP12s. Invoicing also brill. I just wish it was possible to merge duplicates of addresses so that all information under the one. Having to manually reenter the information is not something I would consider. This is only a problem where people involved don't do a thorough search for addresses already on system - so caused by human error in the first place

does what it says.....saves time. had 1 or 2 problems originally but the tec guy was great. costs a bit of money but saves all details obviously for future reference. its even contacted 1 or 2 for reminders.and although I probably don't use it fully,doing a certificate is quick and if you need to amend it's no problem unlike some apps. cheers guys for helping me in my 1st year of business.

Was unsure if it was for me. Now I've been working with the 28 day free try before you buy could not be happier. This software is the software I've been looking for. It's so full of time saving bits and it all works through my phone or tablet that's hotspoted to my phone I can use it when I need it. So now about a week in and it feels to good to be true. Oh I should mention the software that you use on the app is only about 40% of the capability, if you go online it gets even better. Thanks guys . I feel like I've been wasting so much time before. BUT NO NOW😀😀😀

Originally, a very useful app. Year 2 Price rise to £90 per year. Wow, but I stuck with it because it's useful. This year the price rose to £18 per month. Outlandish. That's when I gave up. Glad I did because with lockdown, no money is coming in.

I've had this software for years. It's been a fantastic timesaver when doing gas safety certificates and well worth the cost in time saved alone. Every issue I have had has been resolved quickly and efficiently and I personally would recommend this to anyone in the gas industry who does a lot of safety certs or anything else for that matter.

This has become very poor app over time and the subscription price just keeps going up the you enter details of the appliance on the app go back to the pc you can see all the details on the cert but when you try to send the cert it keep saying no appliance entered. Some time you recall the customer details on the app and you get double of each appliance this app has be came waste of time and money better off with pen and paper.

I was in two minds if this would work for me, I have been working for myself for over 25 years and not changed much over this time. But I gave it a free try and all my customers love it. When I explained it was just a free try they made me carry on. I now find it very easy to use and much better than my written forms and invoices. All the letting agencies I work with love getting the cp12 form immediately form the job. This makes their paperwork and property file much easier and quicker for them too. I am so glad I tried it.Will never go back now.

Excellent. I am a self employed Aga cooker service engineer and use this app every day for oil/gas/general jobsheet/calendar/invoicing. I have had to use support team twice (both due to my mistakes), both times they answered my queries within ten minutes. I just hope that they don't feel a need to 'over develop' the app as some companies seem to do as things are great as they are. Top notch.
