Last update was 2013 and now is end of 2018. 5 years app was not updated and I saw lots of changes at airports I am using frequently.
Most of the reviews are so dated, no mich after 2012. So either no one uses the app or cares about the accuracy. The worst terminal app!!!!!
What happened? This used to be a great app, but it is super outdated and doesn't work with Android 9 Pie
Many airports are OUT OF DATE, ie DFW has been almost completely renovated with restaurant and shops moving, is not accurate at all
App does not load. Not functional. Has not been updates since 2013.
Rubbish. Doesn't even have manchester airport in England. The one and only manchester.
The reviews are all VERY old, so I wonder how much of the information in this app is reliable and up to date.
Not working on latest Android OS.
As of mid November 2018, the app dies immediately on Android Pie (on a Pixel phone).

Downloaded app, searched an airport wait time at TSA, it said 10 minute wait - last updated 2658 days ago. Uninstalled.
Totally useless. Cannot open.
Was the BEST. Please bring it back! There's no other app to take it's place.

Recently June 2014 tried to use this app and nothing seemed accurate for the 3 different airports- San Juan, Baltimore, or Tampa Bay. I agree with others this seems to have been abandoned. I was very disappointed as we have food allergies and restaurants were listed that simply were not there.
Looks nothing like and few of the features touted on the GateGuru website. Can only assume the premium app is for iOS and the android version a more basic version. Also it didn't have the main airport I use despite it servicing a city of a million + people and the main tourist gateway to my country. Very disappointed, had high expectations.
I switched to Android from iOS about a year ago, and I'm usually quite happy, but it's apps like this that make me want to switch back sometimes. The user interface on the Android version is far less useful, and seems very out dated. It's missing many of the features they added to the iOS version over a year ago. Why hasn't this version been updated to take advantage of the new features? The worst thing is that this isn't the only application that seems to have this problem, and there are far less on iOS that are outdated compared to their Android counterparts (at least with the apps I'm using).
The app crashes every time I try to login. This means it's impossible to pull up my saved flight info. I really wish they'd spend as much effort to fix the android version as they do the iOS version.
The innovation was horribly inaccurate and lead me all over the airport on search of a good place to eat. Everywhere I tried had a bad habit of not existing.
I am an airline pilot. I have been using Gate Guru for years. It was great in the beginning. I accurately planned my dining choices as I passed through various airports around the country. In the past few years it has become less useful as many airports have had vendor changes and restaurants have come and gone. Gate Guru doesn't seem to get updated at all. That's tough at a large airport like Dallas Ft Worth where you may have a very limited amount of time between flights and the app directs you to a restaurant that no longer exists at the airport! I'm very frustrated and disappointed with this app!
Anyone guessing randomly can do better than this app. Tried once, will never use again. Totally obsolete.
This use to be a great app but they are not keeping it up to date. For example, Chili's Too left Charlotte airport 16 months ago. Of what use is an app that far out of whack. Deleting it and will search for another.
This used to be a great app, but it just hasn't been maintained. It currently just crashes on startup, but even if you could get it to run the data is hopelessly out of date.
