Gauge Battery Widget 2016

Initially I gave this app a pretty negative review. I really liked the free version but upgraded to the paid version to remove ads and get a few extra features. But for some reason, initially, my Wi-Fi would randomly turn on while running the paid version. That made me write an initial irate review. However, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and since doing so, my device has behaved very well and the app has functioned well. Besides getting a battery gauge widge, a % charge indicator up in the top status area,, and information in notifications, I like the app for reading my battery temperature to let me know when my phone is getting too hot. The ready access to system toggles (Wi-Fi, BT, screen brightness, cellular data, syncing, etc.) and turning them all off at once with the Power-Saving Mode button is nice, too. Wish there were a way to update battery temperature on demand faster. Going along with the power-sipping mode of the app, it sometimes takes a while for the temperature reading to update.

I have looked at and/or tried probably 30 battery app/widgets and this one is the best by far IMHO. I find the multi-colored meter type display the easiest to read and understand at a quick glance (by FAR) of any of the other Aps and love that multiple sizes are available from small to large. My only disappointment is that the graph is too small a time range. It would be much more useful to view a longer time span, especially into the future so you can better see when you may be reaching a low battery situation. In that regard a text label on the graph indicating, for instance... "28hrs-15min until low battery situation" would be a big plus. Please consider doing this in a future update! When that happens I will give 5-stars and purchase the pro version too. UPDATE I discovered that this feature is ALREADY there and even better. You can pinch zoom the scale to whatever you want. I have thus given this 5-stars and purchased the Pro version to compensate the author for a very good App.

Nice looking widget! Too bad it doesn't show the correct battery percentage! Shows 33% all the time. And I used all the widgets available. Tried writing to author as mentioned and they would fix it, but none of the websites or faq sites work. So, I have no choice but to give it 1 star! If they fix it, I'll try again since it is a very nice looking bunch of widgets and compliment my home page!

At first it was very unique and eye-catching, but then, as with almost every free app, it just stopped working. Frozen. Then the developers have enough intestinal fortitude to tell users their phone is the problem. It worked on this phone for over a year and now it does not. Same phone. Only thing changed are updates from the developers. Good job.

It works as advertised. A nice, colorful, looking widget for your home screen that looks great and is accurate in many different options that it has. I am very pleased with it. Sometimes the app has a tendency to toggle off my wifi and bluetooth.

Not happy with this pos - does not update itself to indicate accurate %. Have to reboot phone to get it to indicate actual power. EDIT - the developer got back to me very promptly and steered me in the right direction for getting this fixed. It was the app optimization imposed by OnePlus that was causing the icon not to update - not the developer's fault. Working well now!

I should mention to potential users, it's better to drain your device completely while this app is installed, it'll better gauge how much battery life your device has when you're close to 5% or below. I've been using this app since the early beta days, before premium was created, before they enabled ads, and I have had nothing but the best experience. I have gotten my money's worth buying the premium, across all devices, and I wish nothing but success to all developers of this product!

Awesome app, no ads, great widgets, and it shows me when my phone was plugged in/unplugged and a chart of my usage throughout the day. I downloaded expecting just the widget, however it is also a very helpful tool. Great app, will recommend to freinds.

Nothing to open, just place the widget on your home screen. Configurable, simple and easy to read. If it's not staying on screen you probably have it on your sd card. Widgets don't work that way.

After reading an article about 10 widget apps I thought having a widget for the percentage of my battery might be nice. NOPE! Junk app, widget doesn't stay on screen, glitches if it does stay and over all ugly design. Why oh why would I want a notification of my battery percentage when I have a battery icon... Why? And devs, no I don't have a custom rom or some special setting your app has bugs and is not functioning.

Very nice, with useless settings shortcut. Too expensive for an app full of android setting shortcut. We don't want a Wi-Fi app, it's a battery widget. As if he was looking for something to make it more expensive.

I like the idea behind this app, but my phone itself says it'll last ~8 hours on a single, full charge. This app said that it'll last until NEXT SUNDAY at 100%. If I set Battery Saver to Maximum, it'll last 27 hours and 58 minutes. Still not next Sunday. I haven't noticed anything special that I haven't seen, I'll say that.

Thanks this gauge battery widget for long and strategic my mobile.This app auto removal. I need not remove it.But it not found in my App this period. Thanks, A,lots encouraged my post responses. I glad too see it. I don't deside what I can do or don't? For previous experience on app Which is not future guide.So,remember myself in present .Our research shows that time durations on app store and using not regularly so pointless work. Think big jobless type no care any responses or know not it's.

This is perfect for my needs. I cannot find any issues. It's accurate on my phone and doesn't drain the battery. Also the ads are very moderate, they don't bother me and I realize they're necessary. A+

The widget is great except when I plug in to charge my phone. It notifies that phone is charging then a few seconds later it shows it's not even though phone is still on charge. Every annoying.

I would give it five stars if it was 1 x 1 like the 2021 version like I have on my other phone but this is a 1 x 1 widget that takes up a 1 x 2 vertical space and jacks up the balance of my home screen, sad because it 'WAS" the best battery widget out there now I have to find something else! 😞

I've been using this battery app for a verry long time & I find it(epic & flawless)I love what it does + with all them widget + battery temperature & more, the is a great app, we'll done guys.❤❤👈👏👍👈

It's alright but the size is too small and not customizable. Plus there's a premium version so that rules out extra customization.

Was good now it's horrible!!!! Takes up 2+ homescreen spaces unnecessarily! Ridiculous design, designer needs more training on how to develop apps properly! Deleted!!!

This is a great app and very accurate. Also great support from the developer. I had one concern which was minor but the developer quickly responded and put me at ease. I recommend it highly.

Cool idea but it saids 88 when my phone is at 72 UPDATE: It works! Thanks to the seller I was able to solve the battery optimization issue. Now, to see how long my phone lasts with this on...

That's the kind of widget app I've been looking for but only for translate each units of times (Years, Months, Weeks, Days, Minutes, Seconds) in percentage! Could you please include this feature in your future app updates ?

Takes about 10 seconds every time you make any change. Can't turn off battery indicator in notification bar.

Long-time user. Excellent for what it does. After last update lost my Pro purchase...and it wouldn't restore.

This app is great and uses less than 5mAh per hour even when using the app. Also you could add a battery temp widget as well so I can see everything on my home screen.

Does what it says it does. But the widget feature is the best with 3 different gauges and colour customization.

Clearly shows my current battery charge in an attractive widget. Doing exactly what the developer said it would do. Wish it were circular though, hint, hint, hint.

Not happy my previous, paid install has been removed from the Play Store. Looks to be improved, rather be able to still use the old version if needed however.

Ok but nothing special. The second page gives some sort of battery drain as a linear graph. Not particularly useful I usually ignote thst section.
