Terrible. Schedules only show the next 5 trains departing. So if it's 3am and I want to know when to leave that evening, I have to press "load more" 6 or 7 times. As though showing the whole timetable at once will overwhelm my tiny brain and confuse me. Also, stations are listed alphabetically instead of how they appear on the map, meaning Park and Pretoria stations are right next to each other on the list, despite being on opposite sides of Gauteng in real life. Easy fixes. So much room for improvement.

Initially it looked good, but using it frequently is a bit of a pain: - the intro screen takes extremely long to load and it's just for a pretty picture - nothing useful. - when you want to look at the schedules, it only shows a few lines around the current time - one has to click and download repeatedly to find departure times a bit later in the day. Very frustrating. - it's very difficult to find schedules on another day. It's better to wait until you can download the PDF's on a PC.

New features make the app unusable. It used to work perfectly until the interface changed and now you can't simply select the stations between which you wish to travel. Uninstall. Edit and update: the app does not allow you to plan future trips, see schedules for different days, etc. All it can be used for is planning a trip on the very next train. Not useful.

Every morning I have to struggle with this badly written app. It's slow, unintuitive and very frustrating to use. I only use it to reload my card and it can't even do that properly. It will almost never complete the transaction on the first try. It looks like the app was designed by a pre-schooler.

What a janky app. When it works, it's fine. What is amazing how it can just not work for hours on end giving you an error that has no fix. Closing the app and reopening doesn't help.. Then maybe it just starts working again... For 5min before it gives that error again. Thankfully within that 5min you can get what you need from it.

From a functional perspective, this app works well. But from a user experience, it must be one of the most user UNfriendly apps I have ever come across, especially considering login process. Why does ot not offer 'automatic' login, like almost every other app? One is in a hurry almost every time that you use this app, then you have to battle to sign in. And not being able to see/inhide your password, means one has to try up to 5 times. What is so valuable inside the app, in any way???

Zero Stars. The main purpose of this app for me is to check the train schedules. Yet it's hardly ever working so it's less than useless. It also regularly tells you it's impossible to make your journey. Really? I don't know why Bombela can't commission a competent app. Jobs for maatjies perhaps??,

Terrible interface. This reminds me of the era before app stores and functional apps. Come on guys. All you need is train times and a working fintec backend. Also using the built in RFID functionality of most smartphones would be nice. Come on guys it's 2019 Get with the system.

It's pretty unbelievable that this app doesn't have the normal schedules built-in in an accessible way. Why can't I select depart or arrive time on any given calendar day and have kind of estimate about when a train will leave. Seems like the most basic possible function for a transport app.

App gives incoherent tariffs, tariffs varying wildly in the same minute for the same original destination. Takes forever to load. . Used to work well but as with everything people just do not know when to stop. Congrats, you messed up a perfectly good app.

Only managed to reload card once and then never again. App keeps saying there is already an amount in the cart, but it's impossible to pay without entering an amount when, you guessed it, the app keeps saying there is already an amount in the cart.

Unfortunately it's not possible to give zero stars. This app is completely useless. Slow and unintuitive. You've completely ruined it. How you left out the possibility to plan out future trips is beyond me.

The reload option does not work..tried numerous times till the app kicks me putt. (Session expired) Requires you to enter username and password Every time! Perhaps a remember username or both would be used friendly.

Most horrendous app on the play store. Why does your product have a pending status? Geez, the payment either is successful or not. Otp are cool right, but does Uber use otps, I think not. Why the hell does one have to use an Otp for payments. Why do I need to wait 30 mins for my product to be approved. Nonsense. Why can't one purchase a product when one has 1 trip left? Let me think again. Nonsense. Gautrain has no idea of what building an app around its users.The developers haven't used it

The app looks really good, but I can't register because apparently my passwords do not match. However when I view the passwords they are exactly the same.

A fingerprint scanner to sign-in to your account or, better yet, to unlock the app when you've exited the app (instead of having to sign-in all the time). Doing this would make it 6 or 7 stars even🙌🏾

Does not update the card balance properly after reloading a card via eft and waiting for the recommended 2 hours. More importantly, you have to log in every time you open the app!!! THAT IS ANNOYING AND UNNECESSARY!

what a horrible experience. can't get a simple train schedule between two points. when I use the planning function does not give me any information about the train, like what train it is. just the fact that it costs 158. dont who wrote this app but they defintely got go back to UI school

Worst experience of my life. I had left my bank card at home tried reloading no assistance whatsoever from anyone at the station. Only received horrible service. I tried reloading using this stupid app not only did it say the funds will reflect in 30mins it gave me a stupid error!! Poor service and the worst app l have ever come across!!!!

This app is so user unfriendly and constantly has glitches. I am currently locked out of the app because apparently my login credentials are invalid and when I try to use the "Forgot Password" functionality, it gives me an error message and no email comes through 😭😭😭

Your app is useless and NOT reliable. I have tried and failed numerous times to load funds to get to the fairgates and funds are not available. It is a useless exercise to report issues as nothing happens.. I have already submitted close to 50 claims and yet are redface ever so often.

App doesnt remember me. No tips nor hints nor training content - web version is much better. Eg Why is my card blocked after loading it in the app? 'Plan a trip' pager errors when outside home wifi. ie Anywhere near the train or train station - very stressful. Love the train itself tho

The app is user unfriendly, navigation is a nightmare and you can't see future schedules. The old app was much better.

This app is hopeless, I cannot connect to the API and when I try to exit the app, it won't let me. In the meantime I have missed my train because I cannot check my balance. I woul expect better from a service of this quality.

Wonderful app. The clunky map function is 100 percent acceptable. What's wrong? That irritating voice in the train: "Welcome to Gautrain". This is not a hotel. It is a train. "This train wil stop at all these stations..." Does it ever NOT stop at any of these stations? "The next train is a 4 cart train". (every 3 minutes in my ears) (who cares how many wagons the train has? It is anyways indicated on the LED display. So one star, because I hate that repeating voice, day in, day out.

The app works. But it's difficult to use. It would also be cool if we could view a time table on the app. No easy "give feedback" option.

Poor Development Everytime I log on and try to plan trips, it never works. I constantly get journey error

Not well written app. Registration is terrible. Try scrolling back 20 years one month at a time to register birth date.
