A little background on why I made this app for Android. Right after graduating from a university, seeking a job, frustrated and anxious I was, pondering about my life and future. Then one day, I got an email from my uncle, "You believe it in or not but I do. The power of recitation is incomparable source of inspiration. You would not believe how quickly your all troubles will be gone one by one!".

And guess what, he was right. I got inspired to make an application for all Hindus with android smartphone, an app that is different from some other apps in the market, that has a nice interface with slideshow of images while the mantra plays in the background, no advertisements appear at the bottom, ability to pause/resume the mantra and slideshow. To pause the mantra, touch the screen, a pause button appears at the bottom. A play button appears while the music is paused. The application is set to recite gayatri mantra indefinitely, so it's the user to count the number of recitation and quit the application. If users request for count down timer, it will be implemented in subsequent updates. Play it early in the morning, while jogging, or before sleeping.
