No new faces, no interaction, just as if it got left behind and forgotten by everyone. More and more facilities have been made chargeable that used to be free. I check back occasionally to see if it's got any better but at the point of giving up on it completely now.Too many faults and charges to make it a first ,second or even 3rd choice app
Can't even register an account... Keeps saying "unknown datasource error". I just downloaded the app and whats the point of downloading it when you can't even register an account.
It's a great app though i can't afford to subscribe to become a member sadly
Really awful. It's not surprising there are so few users and such a low rating: unfortunately gaydar might have been "the one that started it all" but have done a terrible job of keeping up with the competition - the site clearly doesn't understand is users, and the app is basically unusable. Latest failure: I changed my password and now it says my profile doesn't exist - just as well, because it was pointless having it!
Used to be a great connection hub, then they changed to actually non functional chat engine. Then changes in Web design with clumsy UI. That's where I left GAYDAR. Later driven by nostalgic feeling I joined GAYDAR again. It felt like I'm constantly struggling with basic issues. I moved to other app again instead of GAYDAR. Now I joined AGAIN and I still don't feel it is good enough. It's clumsy, slow, UI is confusing, push notifications doesn't disappear after I look up messages or winks, Etc
No messages, and no nothing, seems a pretty pointless app. what's the point of such an app if messages are non existent? 10/12/18 this app no longer works, but despite the updates. 23/12/18 this app still isn't working, I think it's time for a complete redesign, creators should start from scratch, evidently the updates aren't working! Worked for a bit, until last update . Now completely blank browsing screen as from 04/01/2020
It's OK when it works, but most of the time it will say 'NO CONNECTION please connect to the internet', even when I'm actually on superfast broadband... 🤔 And when you set your birthdate, you have to scroll through every month of every year first... Deleted. These niggles should not be happening after all this time.
I thought this was the old gaydar that was online from many years ago; Maybe it is, My Problem is thst after going through all the required set up, permissions & allowing access to all kinds of things, being required to upload a file, etc, there was ABSOLUTELY No One that would come up in the Searches!! Tried every option drom Nearby, Online Only, and Map Selected Search; Not ONE Profile came up except for my own!! What a BUMMER that Was; So Disappointing, I was excited to use what was once Gr8!
I installed the app thinking there must be a perform issue using a browser, but it was worse OMG 😱 was it worse. Takes 5 minutes to load favourite or messages, then does not indicate there are messages and doesn't load new ones in a conversation I have to leave come back before a new message in a conversation loads. Shocking service shocking app and I'm a fool for signing up for a year
Photo download caused issues with my Samsung Gallery App. Had to force stop. Gaydar app doesn't open 4 out of 5 times. Have to force stop constantly. Signing up is a nightmare. Nothing quite works. After 4 days, deleted profile and app. Tired of technical issues.
I have Samsung note 9. This app is the only app that crashes. Its apauling for something i paid a service for .£14. The interface is slow and badly laid out. I cancelled my subscription after 1 month of the 3 month.
I would give this app 0 stars if possible. 1. The fact that this "app" cannot verify my account via email after several attempts is unacceptable in this day n' age and with no real time support it's beyond a joke! 2. Too picky about the sizes and shapes of photos you want to upload and still they cannot make my main pic available! What rubbish
Useless! As a paid member, I deserve the same full experience from the app as their website. I just discovered a bunch of messages in my online inbox that were not showing in my app inbox. Deleted app. Will only use website. New as of 10/21. This site is a scam. Hardly any real members in my area. Found out after NON REFUNDABLE membership fee. Cust serv didn't deny it and didn't care.
This app is S@!t since I updated it I have lost all my messages and can't send any!! Don't even bother uploading it gets worse and worse. Oh yes don't tell me to get in touch with support done it 3 times and make no difference!
I can not get anyone to contact me so I can remove my profile. (I've forgotten my password). The app is very hard to navigate and not very efficient. Difficult to see who's sent you a message. Hard to filter out unwanted profiles. Could do so much better.
TERRIBLE. Very slow, notifications are on but I don't get them. When clicking on profiles in messages it opens my profile and vice versa. Awful.
App shuts down constantly and has repeated the messages that had been previously received. This is really sad. Apparently aren't smart enough to get the bugs out before releasing the app or updates.
Functions dont work very well, cant set my main photo, bio section always changes to their defult picks. its very limited with people in my area. im not impressed with this app.
Fixed now going thru Website ,tho surley should be able to use the App, and keep my original password ,but cant ! ...Having no messages coming through on the App! Support asked if they could go into my account using a new password ....I reluctantly did this as its an invasion of my privacy, but if its going to help sort out the app problems .... told me i could put a new password in when they have sorted the problem , now I cant renew my password ....not happy ! I can't sign up because when I enter date of birth my calendar pops up, can enter manually so I would have to scroll through 12 months X 42 years..yes I could sign in with social media apps but I've done that with other apps, which causes problems if I need to log in manually
The new is pathetic. Slow and hard to navigate. Lot of the free features have to be paid for now!! Most of the other apps are a lot better.
So I signed up ages ago and I just reset my password but it still won't sign in keeps saying username or password incorrect and it's definitely not incorrect because I wrote the username and password down so reset and oh the username or password is incorrect??? I've reset my password 23 Times in the last hour I'm not using this app and website again!!!. absolutely useless
No support, trying 5o cancel subscriprion seems impossible. Ive contacted gaydar 2 throught app and email, no reply. Ill block tje nrxt payment at my bank. Awful site, fabguys still the best, even Gayday is better and thats pretty awful too.
