GCA is a new lite weight launcher built on Material Component Design, very small, battery friendly, hardware resource friendly and is pretty easy to use but we don't cut you off from the good stuff. Its design was inspired from Pixel Launcher and Chromium OS desktop but does not offer the tradition android launcher experience. We wanted to enter the next generation of Android with a new experience and this was our solution.
GCA is Android Go friendly, Supports devices running Android 5.x+, Supports tablets and Support for Android 10!

This launcher was built on the idea of running it on low income devices like Android Go devices. It serves a purpose and we will continue to serve that purpose. It runs on a variety of devices, supplying them with rich features the OS can support and the hardware can handle.

Given the aim of this launcher I expected good performance, but unfortunately it's not even close to usable on my HTC u11 Eyes. Can't dismiss app drawer (even by tapping back/home), long press on home screen worked once and never again, tapping google search bar does nothing... Not sure how it worked for others, so I hope the dev(s) can figure out what's going on. Oh, and it says "it's a nice day" when it was in fact an average day, obviuos bug.
I want to like this launcher, because it looks so neat and is slightly different from other stock-like launchers, but I have two issues. First, the app drawer scrolling lags. And secondly, the icons are too tiny for my 6.3 inch screen with no option to change icon size. I can live with minimal customizations, but these two are the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
Launcher was extremely laggy but it's okay the ui are good
the first thing I've noticed when opening the launcher itself is that annoying search bar that can't be moved to the top of my screen. This is exactly why I left the pixel launcher for Nova, a few other things while there are icons on the screen they're not properly labeled for Google's accessibility talkback screen reader. and if the docs icons can be increased that would be awesome, I would love to give this particular home screen replacement a try but it does need some work..
Pretty nice, scaling was way off but easy enough to fix. One thing I recommend is giving an option to be more like chrome is where the search bar is hidden till a certain button is pressed like the home button or enable a two swipe gesture to bring up the search bar and then the app drawer and have just the icons showing on the dock
This launcher has some pretty severe broken colors and textual issues. Lots of things are unreadable because of black text on a very dark black background. In the settings menu, dialog boxes are to narrow to read. Perhaps it's not compatible with my phone (Pixel 3a).
I like the concept a lot, but it still needs a lot of work, polishing, smoother animations, and needs to be more flexible. I can see where're you going with this, so I'll say that it doesn't have to be exactly like chrome os, because it can be better!
Love the Chrome-OS-inspired interface, don't care for the fact that I can't pick my home screen favorites and that the app drawer gets stuck in an open state. This is in its early stages so I'll be watching the development.
As an avid tech geek, I honestly see the potential in this app. There are two situations that are quite off: The dock is showing multiples of the same icon, and immovable, and the App Drawer search is lagging(2-3 sec. pause).
This launcher would have been the perfect replacement to nova only if there were more customization options.....this launcher has it all minimal design beautiful and clean UI except for some customizations like resetting the rows and columns in the app drawer etc.. By the way devs nice work i would have given 5 stars...
S10+ user who loves chrome os and the concept of this launcher... Still has work. But this is the most innovative launcher i have used on android to date. Clean, simple and works with icon packs. Wish i could add more to the main dock. Great work. Something different 4 stars hoping i can come back and give you 1 more. 👍🤙
Liked the idea but have bugs.main reason that turned me down is phone app . when i tried to call someone, I realised that phone call icon disappeared. I searched in search bar but it didn't shown. As of now,i cant use the app. But hoping that one day this would be the best launcher to use
A beautiful and customizable launcher. The developer is responsive and listens to the users. Me It's compatible with Android 11. I love how it's based off of Chromium OS. No bugs and no issues!
Worst. After 10 Minutes from installation, Uninstalled it. Freezed Screen when I open the app drawer. Back button or Home button not working from there. Also the interface is not good.
Can't access through recent apps. Overall the launcher skin is good but lot of improvements need to be done in terms of operating. Hope to get those bugs fixed soon.
Needs improvement it's not that smooth and features are missing Hope you take it in a positive way. Definitely a new UI and light weight but need some improvements.
Very good work... But i can't add apps on home screen, and swipe down for app drawer close not available or work. app drawer scroll animations also little bit buggy.
It is beautiful and has potential. I like that it is somewhat different from mainstream launchers. However, it is sluggish, and could use improvement. I would love to see them!
Keyboard doesn't go down automatically after typing in app drawer. The app drawer doesn't allow to type . I can't change icons appearing on homescreen dock.
It nice, easy and simole ti use launcher. Loved the minimalist approach, slightly less than exactly what needed. Will be waiting for further updates and few gestures and scrolls in launch icons at home... For now sticking to Nova Launcher only... Very positive about this launcher. I'd prefer all launcher operations/navigation from lower portion of the screen with gestures as i dont use default keys...

It has the opportunity to be cool and nice but the theming element is essentially broken, and there is a lack of gestures where there should be. I would love to use this if those things were fixed however.
Thank you for making such a new generation home... this is very nice but only one complain about add a blur effect, shortcuts for apps and Some amazing animations while opening apps and etc.
Long way to go... Claims Android for Work compatibility but is some weird home brew thing and has zero support for a work profile. Theme is not applied to all portions of the launcher... Periodic white flashes. Huge lag on a Pixel XL...
I can't seem to find a non-typical launcher that is easy to use. This launcher is trying too hard to be different. Sure, I get the idea behind that. But I can't hardly do anything as far as customizing or personalization.
Very well concept. But still laggy and crashes often. Need to be more stable and need to work more on the animations.
A very good launcher and practical for daily usage. Just some minimal changes will make it better than any default launcher. Looks best with dark wallpapers.
It's a nice idea but can't use it full at the moment because this items on my shelf are not changing and the items that occupy it presently are useless and then the second thing is that it does not show my second Whatsapp on my Samsung phone!
This launcher has potential. My only request is to have an option for Dark UI (Material Design). This option will make all aspects of the launcher dark and all text white. If this option gets integrated, you can count me as a full time user.
This app looks good but I am having alot of issues such as when I try opening the app drawer, the panel from the left with settings and stuff shows up and If I try pin a application, no changes appear and sometimes bug out with blur related things, and sometimes trying to close the settings menu would exit the launcher and make the system reset the launcher to default. Would recommend it to everyone after it has a bunch of its bugs fixed!
