In fact I wish to know the difference between this app and internet banking. I have filled several forms to be enrolled onto this service but to no avail. Also the *422# service cannot display any account information visually. Unlike the internet banking where you can see more than one account and conduct a transaction.
The app is great and user friendly. Initially I had issues setting up but when I visited the office I was sorted out. Now I can do transactions on it with ease and the transactions well tracked for me. I advise people having problems with it to pay attention to little security features such as spaces in password or user name. A great app for now. Thumbs up 👍 gcb!
If I could have give it a half star or no start I would have. It won't open. I had this issue when I first downloaded this several months ago, since it never opened I decided to uninstall it. Fast forward to this morning I thought there would be improvements made to the app so I decided to download it only for me to find out that it still has the same problem. Gcb please be serious about this because every review I've read so far brings a complain not a kudos. Very very bad.
The all is no longer functioning. Crashes upon open. By now, they should have seen the feedback and restored the previous version while they sort out the issues..
Can't launch the app anymore meaning I can't carry out any transactions online at the moment. Some of us have come to rely on the app for a number of our transactions with the bank; convenient and saves time. Was there any QA and UAT at all before the latest versions were released? Devs and app owner, are you listening to the numerous complaints out here??? Edit(23/11/2021): Issue with startup fixed with latest update. Now, can't login with message to see bank Administrator. Come on guys!
This is app is an absolute waste of time. A bank like GCB with a large customer base should have been leading in digital innovation. But here they are still left behind. You can't even login to a simple app. Sorry but I just had to uninstall it to provide more space for my phone.
After updating to this new version the app is no longer work. It's crashing anytime I open the app. Want to restore to the previous version but no option for that. Please fix it.
I recently installed this App for internet banking since I'm based overseas. No problem & Ive made 2 transfers already. I noticed a lot of negative comments which almost put me off but some of them are unfair. So it will be better for GCB to respond to some of the -ve comments which reflects misunderunderstanding. Eg at present when u 1st open the app, it provides only sign in. Because I've already registered while at Accra I was able to sign in. So advice on how to register needed.
Really annoying app tbh you can't login you try registering and the app keeps messing around with you. You call customer service and they add up to your headache by telling you your acc does not exist like why???? 😐😐
I have installed the app and it's working properly on my device but when I try registering or "onboarding" I keep seeing messages like "Invalid parameters". This it preventing me from signing up on the app.
GCB you said if we already uses the Internet banking for transaction we can download the App and lon in with the same credentials as the int. Banking. This is not always true. I have the app if I want to login with my int. Banking username and password, the feed back I get is USERNAME/PASSWORD WRONG. THEN MY ACCOUNT IS LOCKED. I can neither log into the int.banking to. Pls GCB be serious
Works just like the browser option. logged on and transferred with no problem. Would be great to have an apple store version of the app as well. Great Job!
This app is bulky, slow, and not user friendly. I use apps from 2 other Ghanaian banks and they're seamlessly smooth. For this app's large size one would think it'll have great functionality. Just another piss-poor work by the developer. "We Serve You Better" indeed! Where's that zero rating when you need it?
The app is worse. I cant login in nor even register on the app. I cant even recover my password because it tells you a code has been sent tp your registered mobil number and yet nothing comes to use to retrieve my account. Very worse app
Since the new update the app is not working properly, it keeps stopping and closed itself,now I can't get into my account now because the app keeps stopping and closed itself.plesse it very important that you look into it
I'd rather pick a car to the nearest ATM or bank rather than use the app. And that tells a lot about it. I'm unable to login. I have tried several times. Some times the app is unable to open at all.
I don't know who developed this. I simply can't log into my account. The app keeps asking for customer ID. I don't what that means aside from my account number. Does GCB provide unique customer IDs?
Doesn't even provide the option where account can be processed. All there is is login whilst this is the first time of usage. How can you login when your account hasn't been synchronized with the app
I've downloaded the app. When log in with user name and password nothing works. No understanding of alternate number. Only 3 main transactions Calculator inclusive.
Honestly, this app is the most useless app i ever come across! 🙄 So don't waist your bundle or maybe you can also try and see. 🤷♂️
Downloaded but could not register. "Invalid email address" meanwhile i am receiving alerts on the same address. Cannot register; system errors, have tried multiple times.
This app doesn't work at all; I rated one star for your attempt to create an app but not for its effectiveness. GCB is still behind in terms of technology: our network is nothing to boast of, and this app too is not useful. This app is a disgrace; please take it out of the play stroe.
So annoying!!!!!!!!. I just downloaded the app, and tried to open it but GCB logo with some orange color is the only thing that is displying on my phone for about 30mins. Like as if I have downloaded a wallpaper. Nothing else is showing aside that.
Horrible app, i can logon to the web the same login credentials but the app keeps coming back as invalid credentials. The app has horrible navigation.
A very bad app. Unintelligent app developer. Good for nothing. This app does not deserve to be on play store. I downloaded this app just to get access to my bank. But couldn't access it through this app. Unlike ecobank, Fidelity and others... which we can access it easily and simply. Love ecobank and fidelity bank.. gcb is left behind in terms of technology. Try to improve the app. Wishing you success.
I've been able to use the credentials sent to me to log in to my account on my computer but when I enter the same credentials on the app and press the log in button, it doesn't give me any feedback. It stays on till I close the App. But when I log in using a web browser, am able to log in with ease. What could be wrong? Is the app not working?
