It's great when it works, but the login is frequently bugged and end up having to try multiple times. It's not as bad as the website, which brings up a "Forbidden" message, but is unfortunately sometimes just as frustrating.
You'd think a communications company could at least get half of the app development and opporations working half of the time. Limited features, poorly designed, and do not function as expected. Out of all the apps for running my household needs, this is the worst.
Lots of glitches, repeated error messages at login before gaining access, and pages stop loading. Not very reliable or convenient so I stopped using it. If it were consistent. I would consistently use it.
App now just opens to blank screen after phone went through software update. Always had issue with app when paying bill. App never acknowledged payment successfull or not. Contacted customer service more than once about bill pay issue. My phone is AT&T Samsung S20 5g that is up to date on all software
It's awesome and easy to use. Except. A problem I found currently. There is no area to delete and change payment methods and trying to even add a new payment. Cannot scroll down to hit the continue button after filling info out.
This is the slowest app ever. I have to Uninstaller and reinstall it often to get it to work. No fingerprint login. For a technology company this app is garbage. Easier to just user the internet browser. Customer service is a joke and going to be worse now that it is farmed out overseas. But they don't really care. Can't wait for star link so GCI can be dropped.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD APP!!!!!! Unable to view bill and unable to process payments. The payment will freeze at "Processing" and never do anything (waited 10 minutes). JUNK! Switching profiles is a pain and is very slow to load (I have the S20 ultra with GCI Red for home and wireless; no excuses for slowness). I ended up using the website on THE SAME PHONE with no issues. Get it fixed GCI!!!
To whoever reading reviews, it's clear that GCI doesn't care for their app. This app almost never wants to work. When it does, it's insanely slow. Going to the site is much faster. This has been an issue for years now and is somehow getting worse.
Crashes all the time, won't allow you to view your bill. Old app and online bill pay worked much better. You basically took something that worked great and broke it all to hell!!
Most of the time I can't even pay my bill with the app, I have to call and wait on hold because the app payment won't process. Its really frustrating nearly pointless
App has been in "maintenance" for a month. Was only able to use the app for about 4 days, since then it's been "down for maintenance"
Paying with the app doesn't work. I've called plenty of times for them to fox the app. And only advice they've given, " uninstall and reinstall" how pathetic. 😕
The only information that will successfully populate is the money I owe these people and data usage. I can't get any other feature of this app to work correctly. At least GCI is transparent about their priorities.
App will not work. Can't log in pay bills or communicate with GCI. An internet provider should be able to make an app you would think.
I had to keep making a new password. When I log in, it would revert to blank username and password. I've used this app for like year. The reverts just started happening so I uninstalled.
The App works ok, would be nice if there was an option to SAVE YOUR USERNAME instead of having to enter it every time you log on.
There usage calculations are off! App doesn't stay logged in or even remember user ID. Dial usage didn't match what each line usage totaled.
Everytime I try to log in, it say my password is wrong, I change the password. and still won't let me log in not to mention the few times i can it does not stay logged in.
Trash ISP, and for those of you who DO NOT KNOW. 1 GIG SPEEDS ARE NOT UNLIMITED THEY HAVE A CAP OF 4TB WHICH IS NOTHING IF YIU PRODUCE MUSIC USING CLOUD SERVICES. App is Trash. Can't wait for ACS to sign their new contract so I can stop giving these ppl my money for services and speeds that don't even break 300mb.
So slow. Obviously they do not care about customer experience. Edit: I'm litteraly considering switching internet providers just because of how bad the customer experience is.
Forever in a loop - have to uninstall and reinstall every time I want to look up usage or to pay my bill. Customer service is a holding game... who has the time?
Efficient smooth to use but occasionally digs up an old account I think it's like glitched or something probably minor but can be overlooked
Doesn't recognize a valid email address to sign up. Will have to call to add data or pay cell phone bill, and wait 20 minutes with gci.
They want us to pay online so bad they upcharge us for phone in bill pays. Then this garbage app doesnt accept your payment or gets stuck in a processing loop.
Couldn't log in, so went to website and worked fine. Just use the website, don't download this app, is garbage.
cant login, minimal services available. Really behind in comparison to competitors. I swear the only reason they get away with this is because they've monopolized the market.

One of the worst apps I've ever had the displeasure of being forced to use. GCI is a trash company and their app reflects that.
The app does the minimum of helping you pay your bill. First of all, online enrollment didn't even work, had to call to set it up. No bio-authentication like other apps, enter your username and password every time. If you want to link your Alaska Airline miles to your account, can you just do it online like most other services? Nope, you have to call. What is the point of the app if you're not gonna make me call for everything anyways?
