It's just not working anymore. I have spent the last few hours trying to just access Samsung's app store so I can get the alarm on my Gear Fit, because for some odd reason, that's not a default feature. Everytime I try to access the app store, I get an error message. Once got in and to the actual app, but when I'd try to download it, I'd get a timeout error. Can't even access the FAQs, troubleshooting guides, or contact them through this app. Please address these issues.

My Gear Fit 2 is pretty much useless since the update. I can't receive any notifications on my watch now. I've checked all the settings, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and still can't get my notifications to show on my watch. I also have issues with the watch losing connection with my phone frequently. Please fix this. I had to install previous version and cut off auto update to get my watch working again.

Bluetooth will not stay connected. stays connected for a few minutes then disconnects. Once disconnected, it seems battery starts to drain faster. Battery used to last 24-36 hours when always connected. I'm on Android 8.1 and have tried all phone/battery settings to keep app active and prevent OS from killing it. Impossible to know what is actually causing disconnect but Samsung should at least give a notification as to what caused the Bluetooth connection to drop. The watch is now useless.

Nice one Samsung, looks like you've well and truly broken it. Now I have the same problem as all these other folks. The watch is disconnected from the phone. The app won't open, it says I have to update, but there is no update option, only the uninstall option. Maybe it's time to go Apple. Actually, I understand the problem. Fixing the app doesn't sell new watches or phones. It's called obsolescence. It doesn't keep customers either when you screw them over

If I could give this 0 stars & still write a review, I would. I wish I would've read these reviews before I took my old gear in for replacement and used the protection plan. after the most recent update, I'm not getting ANY text notifications. I'm so far beyond pissed, I spent the better half of 3 days trying everything to fix the issue including talking to Samsung. What a waste. Hopefully after 2 years of having a Samsung watch, I can find a more reliable brand. Shouldn't be hard at this point.

As reported by many recently app has broken. Says you need to update, but no update available and no longer Bluetooth links to watch. Watch has lost has lost most of its features because of this. This has been going on since the weekend with no feedback from Samsung about the issue or when it is likely to be resolved.

Since the last update. App no longer stays connected to Bluetooth on two different brands of phones. Currently a useless app draining the battery with all the connects and disconnects. Getting email and text notifications over Bluetooth is a thing in the past. Is there no QA process before releasing such garbarge. Please fix...

I've lowered my expectations after reading the reviews. At this point I'd be happy if the "watch" would just tell me the time, however unless I'm willing to focus on the blue/green circle and count the revolutions and then calculate the revolutions per minute and then calculate how much time has past I will have no idea what time it is. It's easier to take out my cell phone and look at the time. This "watch" fails even as a mid 1970's LED or LCD wrist watch. Darn.

The app needs more non android support: frequently disconnected after watch setup notifications is finidhed and remote for wifi is done. It is able to work with my new device which is a OnePlus 7 pro and it's not having the same issues it when I used to sync it and just after I use it with different apps on my phone.

New feature: failure. The last update to this plugin rendered my watch essentially useless. I get no notifications except calls, and Bluetooth is constantly connecting and disconnecting...which is a complete failure since the while reason for getting the watch was so I could keep my phone on silent.

This app is asking for update and when clicking on Update button then it redirect to the play store where only uninstall option is there. How irresponsible Samsung is! Because of there technical bug, I am not able to use the app. Using Samsung gear fit 2 with Honor Play Android 9 mobile phone.

It used to work great, but for the last month no notifications on my watch except incoming calls. But no sms or emails. I'll wait for another week or so but if it is still not fixed then will have to buy another watch and this time its not going to be a Samsung one. Note: I am using pixel xl it stopped working on Android 9 and still does not work on Android 10.

omg..I thought I was alone until I read all the reviews. Tried to sync GearFit to a new phone and the notifications/vibrations are not coming through. SAMSUNG, WHY CAN'T YOU FIX THIS!!? I've reset twice and chatted with customer service. Wasted hours trying to get my GearFit 2 Pro to work. so frustrated

i have had my watch for almost 9 months never had an issue until this last update on the 26th of January 2019. Since the latest update like many others the device wont sync to my phone the Galaxy wearable app has stopped even pairing with my watch all together. Its extremely disappointing as much as you charge for your watches you should ensure your updates help instead of cause an inconvenience to your customers.

Why this device cannot notify me just one time when I get an email is beyond me. I use a Yahoo email address in addition to my Gmail. 1. Once email notification is sent to Gear Fit Pro 2, set as marked and do not notify again. 2. Do not send numerous alerts one right after another for email. Only send when email is received. Once sent do not send again. Other alerts work fine. What is wrong with email? Gmail does not seem to have this problem, only other email accounts. Samsung, please fix.

Hororable! The app keeps disconnecting from my phone despite numerous restores of both my Gear Fit2 Pro and my phone for no reason! i should have bought a Fitbit! Poor technical support despite hours on the phone with them. They were supposed to send me an email return label for service, but i never received it!!

Looks like lots of people are having the same issue as I am. Watch is disconnected. I open the app and it tells me I either have to update or close the app. I click on update and the Play Store opens but the only option is to uninstall. No update. Which means I can't use my watch. Useless.

I am not able to connect to my Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 with this app... When it's pairing, terms and condition page just comes like a flash and disappears. I tried 1000 times to connect but everytime the same is happening. I am using Moto G8 power lite mobile. Please let me know if you need any more details. Hope you would be able to fix this issue.

It asks to update but when I come to Google store there is no update, I uninstalled and reinstalled but still same issue. NOW I can't use it because it says either update or close the app. When I click on update nothing happen, goes to play store and finds nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled but no use. Latest update causes GPS to take around 5 minutes to connect. I run regularly - this makes the watch useless for me. Please fix. Still a piece of junk after the latest updates. Still doesn't find GPS (even though it now *says* it does). You've turned my favourite exercise gadget into a pointless lump of plastic.
