I like the features it has . However no option to turn off touchpad feedback. I have both the beeps and the voice. At least let me change the sounds or silence completely. The iconx can't even disable the exercise read out menu. Shortcuts can't be customized. I need a quick way to turn on ambient sounds. Sony makes it easy by just hold up your hand to your ear. Samsung hides the option in a menu. Unintuitive. And also please stop the "touchpad lock/unlock sounds". We set it in app, we know.
I have been waiting over a year for them to fix it but still no update. PLEASE make option to disable the proximity sensor. The sensor is too sensitive that it thinks the earbuds are out of my ears when they are just slightly moved or when I walk into a sunlight. It makes the buds unusable in gym and outdoor. I can only use it indoors at a still position which is very inconvenient.
I cant open the application I downloaded but the open button not there and its not found on my device ?? my phone is Oppof9
I have noticed quite a few unhappy comments concerning the earbuds connecting on and off. SAME problem here. They would be really great headphones if I wouldn't have to hold my phone to my ear and the ear bud at the same time. I Never know when my call will go back to phone mode. Don't buy unless you love to be aggravated😠.
Having continual issues with my buds disconnecting while on calls (conference calls at work all the time) or switching to my watch or back to my phone over and over. I've had to turn my watch off during work hours because even when I disconnect, it will spontaneously reconnect during my call. Good sound, ok battery time. But this continual dropped call issue is a deal breaker for me as this is my main work device. I am tired of apologizing for not catching parts of conversations.
Unfortunately I have been unable to get messages read aloud for some time now. I have tried resetting the earbuds and have even factory reset my Pixel 3XL. It's a shame because having my messages read aloud had been one of the best features, when it worked properly.
The app demands many different permissions - calendar, contacts, sms! I don't want to use any of the smart notification features, so you shouldn't ask for access. The app doesn't even start before it gets the full permission package. This is ridiculous.
Worst headphones EVER!!!! Constantly disconnected, registers touch commands out of nowhere, and one bud is so much louder than the other that it doesn't make sense to use both. Please make better products, especially when the pricetag is as outrageous as this.
The app was continuously crashing on Android Pie and reinstalling IconX or Samsung wearables didn't work either. Yesterday, I opened the wearables app and today after 24 hrs or so, the app started working and took me to setup process. Not sure what is the issue but it works now.
It works as intended, as long as you have the "mother" app installed beforehand as described in the description. It connected easy. The menus are simple and easy to navigate. All in all, clean and convenient.
I wouldn't even rate this one star. Can't even access anything but the download screen. The only option it provides is to uninstall. App is inoperative and does not work. Waste of time. Can't find it anywhere my phone, I have an LG V20. Waste of my hard earned money! I would cus alot right now, but I'm sure you get the picture!!
Terrible earphones. One side is louder than the other. They disconnect often. I will never buy Samsung earphones again. I trusted this product, not anymore. The sound quality is terrible. Way too expensive for the poor quality.
Doesn't seem to work on my Essential PH-1 running Android PIE. It installs but the app can't be found, even though the play store says it's installed. The option to open the app from the store also isn't available.
This app doesn't open in my LG V35 running Android Oreo. I can't use any other function than the basic touch features (like the ambient sound, exercise or battery checker). Please fix the compatibility with other brands.
I can't connect my iconx 2018 to my mate 10 pro when i have a call, it keeps disconnecting in any call. Plus the touch pad on the earpod itself doesn't work i can't control the volume or anything. Please fix this problem ASAP.
Wow this update fixed the excruciating Bluetooth lag I was experiencing with the Q beta. Very impressed, and also very surprised that it wasn't an Android thing.
Since the last update my buds lose connection to my phone even when my phone is very close. The buttons on the buds don't always work. Disappointing
Absolutely terrible, you can't even install the app on other Android phones, such as mine, the 1+ 3t. Very selfish move from Samsung, glad i checked the app before buying the ear buds. 👎
Second try pay 200 buck for you wireless buds and plugin don't work junk should have got the Bose buds. Phone us Blu vivo x1 everything else I've put in works great it's your app not even a open option just the uninstall. What kind of junk you selling make me not want to upgrade to my phone for the big note 9 or ten

Don't buy this gear guys. Too many issues. Left earbud drops in volume to about 25% and it can't be fixed. Just terrible.
why is it that whwn my mobile phones 4G internet droos out the Gear Iconx earbuds also lose connection until my mobile phone gets connection again, this is silly and the eaebuds audio shouldn't stop when a youtube video is playing even thiugh the internet dropped out even though the video has already been loaded
literally no way to open this app on my phone. its installed, but there is no shortcut, and it cant be opened when the IconX is connected, or through settings. fix this app please.
these earbuds do not scan on my samsung galaxy watch!!!!!!........have fixed this issue..but now since may 28 2019 update volume on ear bud does not work
The game is fun to play and has a good variety of characters. Easy to control too. Kinda reminds me smash bros. Can't wait for all thats in store.
Doesnt work with my Gear S2. I can pair the phone with Bluetooth, but this app NEVER detects my watch.
Forcing updates. Just an A-HOLE design. Has worked perfectly fine without any updates for 1+ year.
The app isn't much of a problem. The app is great. However... The earbuds... I have NEVER in my life had anything so aggravating. The headset consistently disconnects. During calls, during music. Basically during use. Connects during call until someone answers the phone then disconnects. And no matter how many times i reconnect it, it disconnects again. I'm about to take a hammer to this whole thing. Hope this helps...
