Gear S Plugin

Samsung applications not on a Samsung device are really buggy. My Gear S2 says it syncs with Samsung Health but when opening the app it has days missing and I have to open it and attempt a sync but it only seems to refresh the last 3 days only, not what it has missed. Something worse than not working is working at random. First 2 stars I've ever given an app.

Currently the app is very poor, it seems to be fine until recently, it won't now connect or transfer data. Looking to change the watch. Very poor....

Works just fine for what it's supposed to do. The only thing that could improve the app is to allow profile transfers from the old device to the new device. Just a bit annoying.

Since this last update, I don't receive any notifications on my watch, the GPS on the watch only works if not connected to the phone, get constantly disconnected, can't add watch faces or apps, and can't even sync the activities properly. Using in a Huawei P20 Pro.

I don't rely on my watch to communicate with anyone, I like the fact that I can and I try never to leave home without it. After having it for years, it seems to be losing power faster, I imagine it may be due to the downloaded animated faces; I like but don't need them.

Since the last update and/or the update to EMUI 12, I don't receive a single notification on the watch, and it disconnects frequently. Then I have to force stop it to reconnect. Huawei Mate 20 Pro + Gear S3

I have to reconnect to my device every morning and seven out of 10 mornings I have to update this ridiculously clunky app before I can connect because there's a new patch to install.

Awful, owned and used samsung form years. Now bloatware took samsung over and I dumped my Samsung equipment. Now the watch is going because it won't connect to phones not samsung. Flushing Samsung down the toilet where they belong

Constantly keeps disconnecting from my Gear S3. I can't even reset my watch through the app. I also haven't gotten a notification on my watch in months.

Not communicating with my phone. It's says connected, but I can't change or update any app, and I can't get 90% of my notifications.

Keeps on disconnecting from my phone. Whenever i open the app it works. The moment i close the app or lock the phone's screen. It disconnect my Samsung watch

Had so many issues between Samsung Gear S Plug in and the Galaxy Accessory service. Finally got them working with Watch. It shouldnt be this hard guys.

Every day I receive a notification saying "can't notify on watch" I allow permissions which works until the next day and I go through the same thing. Today, I'm receiving a notification about every 30 seconds saying disconnected from watch. Need to uninstall the app to stop the notifications which makes my watch effectively useless.

You guys out out an update like basically 2 times a week, like Jesus slow it down a bit I can't connect my watch unless I update but it's a real pain having to wait for it to finish so often

Zaps the battery, can't wait for the pixel watch so I can drop the whole Samsung ecosystem with their garbage apps.

Since the update syncing is impossible. Syncs once then have to delete the watch and re-add it

My Samsung watch won't even connect to my phone anymore but it's been connected before so now whatever I do like walking or whatever it won't sync to my phone

Utter rubbish, doesn't send any notification, l ght as well buy a cheap 10 dollar watch does the same. Tell the time

Very disappointed. With every update you get closer to a piece of garbage this is, Small icons? I got a heartbeat of 175! It asks me to move when walking or on the train! Gets disconnected, doesn't autoconnect. Tells I am asleep when behind PC. 24 hour activity widget? Why remove an optional function? Detailed sleep record to know what interrupted my sleep and what time. Samsung pay needs access my contacts, please remove it. The notification can't be dismissed.

A decent app most of the time. I would expect it to be much cleaner and smoother coming from a tech giant like Samsung. A5 least it gets the job done most of the time. However, my biggest problem is that when it updates, I get a notification access error. When I go in to fix it, then ALL my notifications go away for other apps. This is the fourth time this year! I have to manually restart my phone from scratch in order to get everything to work again.

Works fine, but only on supported devices. The phone I had before the current one would not install this app at all, because it was incompatible, although it was surely not a matter of device specs. Also, I don't get why my Gear S3 would continuously shut down randomly without a phone connected to it, whereas now, with this plugin installed, it works perfectly.

It was working fine until the 5/30/19 update. I have an S2 and it no longer allows me to modify the apps which I got notifications for, it doesn't display info on the watch when it's connected (Battery/Storage/RAM), I can't change my watch face on the app, I can't manage, reorder, or uninstall anything. It's just a mess. I'm currently trying to find a way to rollback to a previous version. Update: I downloaded and installed a previous version of the Gear S plugin and it still does not work. I'm going to try an older version of the Wearable app now Update 2: Previous versions of the Wearable app and the Gear S plugin did not help. I'm running Android 9 on my Pixel. I guess my S2 and Gear Fit2 are now nothing more than expensive digital watches.

Latest update is having an issue with connectivity where I have to constantly turn off the notifications access on my phone then turn it back on in order for it to work properly. But that only lasts an hour and then I have to do it all over again. Also, it is draining my watch more than usual. I'm not sure why is it running so much in the background. Please fix I'm on an One Plus 6t.

Like many others have said, the May 2019 update completely broke every "smart" feature of the watch. Completely useless. Now it's no more than a basic Fitbit, except that you have to charge it twice a day... That said, the Galaxy watch/gear apps have always been TERRIBLE. Awful, basically useless. Likewise the software written for the watches has also always been subpar at best. Much like the Galaxy phones, amazing hardware crippled by bloated and non-functional software.

Watch says it's connected, this app won't allow my to click any kind of complete button or anything. The watch face just keeps saying "check your phone to complete setup" and it won't change. The app only gives me two options after I agree to the terms, and those two options are "Force Stop" Or "Turn off Bluetooth". What the hell?
