Gear VR Cardboard

People are rating low because they don't understand that root is required. If you don't get it, don't blame the author of the app.

Can't get it to work. Just says gear vr service is on no matter which button I touch.

It clearly says root required in the description. Don't give one star reviews because you're too lazy to read the description and/or Google what root is

There seems to be a lack of detailed instructions on how to enable this apps function. A more descriptive activation would be helpful.

Thank you for making the simple to use intuitive app. The Play Store needs more apps like this.

Doesn't work. Whether you hit the gear or the cardboard button..just says gear service ON.

Works perfectly on 6.0.1 using Samsung Galaxy S6. Thanks so much for doing this mate! Needs a rooted phone people, or it will not work :)

Works fine on the S6. Prevents Oculus Home from launching so you can use other apps with Gear VR. You need to load those before sticking the phone into the headset.

Does the job well on my s6. If this doesn't work for you, check if your phone is rooted! If not use a different app!

1 only cause i have no idea to check if my phone is rooted. What does that mean and how do i do it? Cant use anything but my oculus app its frustrating..

It's underrated because people don't know what root means.

Works great with the S7 Edge. The developer option does not seem to be working unfortunately.

There are other apps available to do this that don't require root.

Rooted phoned, can play Google cardboard apps using samsung gear vr headset.

At least they can explain more about how to get this app to work. It just does nothing

Does what it's supposed to do

There's another app on here for those of you that are not rooted look up play cardboard in the app store it does exactly the same thing as this with no root needed! Hope you don't mind the comment the app I've recommended is for people thats phone is not rooted, so it is not in competition with this app and will hopefully stop the bad reviews from people that don't read or understand what rooted means
