To use your own gedcom files, they need to be transferred to your device. This can be done in several different ways, including:
* Mailing them to yourself and downloading them
* Copying them over USB
* Copying them to an SD card
* Using online file services such as www.dropbox.com
Once the file is on your device choose it in the Downloads app or in a file browser app such as My Files. You can also use the Open... button in the menu from within GedTree.

simple to use, give tree up and down from individual without complexities!
could not proceed as GED files are saved on my google drive and this foes not sppear able to access it.

Every time I tried to open it, the app crashes. This was useless for me to download.
Really useful for viewing ged files but it has an issue with empty lines in the files.
Maybe I'm just simple-minded, but it confused me!! 😭 Thanks for making me feel dumb, app.

Every time I try to open it, it draws the splash screen and then dies.
You get what you pay for: it works, but the functionality is extremely limited. Only a tree straight up from the root can be shown, no siblings of the root are shown, for instance, although they do show up in search results. At least a standard GEDCOM file can be imported, which is more than some of the other apps I've tried did.
