Saw this app used on a video on you tube thought I'd give it a go on my year old s8+. Very surprised to see that mine is better than the average score for s8+'s and even scores higher than a note 8. Will be using this app on all my phones in future to see how they compare.
App is not bad I like the cross platform nature. However it doesn't seem to go into (atleast here) the comparison ability with let's say a pc or Mac or whatever. I know on the website for the program it said comparable to a i72600u was 4000...also needs ability to log in to your account
I tried it on both my note 5 and pixel XL and compared it with OTHER benchmark apps. The results were comparable and I'm happy that it doesn't lie. cause I have also tested on low end devices (Galaxy J3) I'd happily rate is 5 Stars. 👋👋
Let me start by saying, if you add the ability to add notes to each Benchmark (For Example : I should be able to add what ROM or Kernel or Stock and when i go back in history, i will know which bench was what.) I will purchase the premium version if that is added into the aok.... I am constantly Bench Testing Custom ROMs and Custom Kernels and Stock ROMs with Custom Kernels, etc, etc. and it takes me time to have to reflash a Stock Boot.img because I dont know in the History which Bench was Stock. I dont know why you geniuses would have that as an option to begin with!!!
Works well! Short descriptions of the tests pop up. You can compare stats against other phone models. Doesn't require strange permissions like some of it's competitors.
Works great on my friends devise. It has a lot of tests that it does, some that suprised me. Only reason I've rated 4 instead of 5 is on my devise it says it cannot connect to network when I clearly am
I have been using geekbench on all of my devices till now. I'm currently using a poco f1. It keeps showing very low scores. Like half of what is expected from a sd845. It identifies the phone correctly but shows very low sckres. Other benchmarks show scores that are similar to other sd845 devices.
The test ratings by geekbench are exact and its interface is also very simple to use. I can also compare my phone benchmarks with other phones and can find out where my phone stands.
Good metrics to compare tech without having to guess what the latest version of a phone means towards performance. Now you can compare it by the numbers.
Worked well although you can only see a percentage and name of the mark being ran at the moment being displayed. Have to assume the marks are fairly accurate and results are correct.
Your APP should NOT start any benchmarking if the mobile load is already high. Isn't that obvious? And everytime the result is different, you should care about exactness even if the test needs to be longer!
Useless app that doesn't work. Gives error at every execution mentioning "not connected to internet". I m not sure how people treat it as reliable.
I can't trust this app. My phone is decacore and has a low score from Geekbench while dual core iphone has more score. I give a low rate for this app. It needs to access internet while running this app, Looks like it retrives the low score for andriod phones.
This app does tell me my computing speed on my phone, but it takes a long time. I don't know if you have a newer phone it is quicker, because I have a Samsung galaxy J7.
Wont run , error message geekbench encountered an error communicating with the geekbench browser geekbench requires an active internet connection in order to run benchmarks. Problem was reported back on March 24th 2018 and still hasn't been corrected. The problem doesn't happen to everybody.
Excellent user interface. I like that the result is given in a "Geekbench Score" so that it can be compared.
App won't let me run Benchmark says cannot connect to the geekbench server make sure you have an active internet connection. I am connected to WiFi and data
Tells me to turn off my connection, then tells me connection failed. Is this app trolling me? Then I tried going into the settings and the whole app crashed. This is the most ridiculously incompetent app I have ever seen.
App tells me to turn off data connection upon copletion of download then when i try to run it its says that it needs internet connection to run it? What a joke, don't bother with this app!!!
please update with newer phones s10+ note 9/ P30 Pro/pixel 4. I ran the test with my OnePlus 7 Pro and it's comparing it to older smartphones. Just want to see how it compares with the new premium smartphones.
I love PC Benchmarks, so having an Android Benchmark Utility is great. Geekbench 4 is fun to use to compare your device with others, which can help in deciding on your next phone, or tablet upgrade.
Any ideas why my results are getting slower and slower each day/week I rest my android? Poco F1 from mc 8639 new to now 7475 two weeks later. Ive tried to turn off all autostart apps and cleaned the trash etc. Any ideas guys?
Application wouldn't start benchmark. It had said that I needed a active network connection, which I did and still do because I'm writting this and posting it now.
works but outdated i have to go to the website to see the latest phones & even then my LG G8 is missing i know it's a new phone but the main app needs to but updated to have all the latest phones
i too can not use it as it keeps saying internet connection required. I tried on wi-fi and 4glte. wont run at all. i uninstalled
Updated 2nd March 2020 - Samsung Note 9, when bench is complete, can only be compared to S8+ or below that model... pointless app now.
Used the app in the past, but it looks like they haven't kept up with the times. Will not launch on my S10+
I don't find the scores very reliable because they vary over different custom ROMs, I'd rather look forward to measuring test timing instead of a score like Speed Test G does because at times the test gets over sooner in one phone even when started simultaneously with another phone but gets a lower score than the latter.
